0:00:03 > 0:00:04Hi, everyone.

0:00:04 > 0:00:05I'm Ayshah, with your Newsround stories.

0:00:05 > 0:00:10Coming up in the next few minutes: The balloon race that's going up.

0:00:10 > 0:00:15And the Chinese buildings that are coming down

0:00:22 > 0:00:25First up, we loved her at the London and Rio Olympic Games,

0:00:25 > 0:00:28but boxing superstar Nicola Adams has said she won't be

0:00:28 > 0:00:32going to the next Olympics and will now turn professional.

0:00:32 > 0:00:35That means she'll be earning money by having big fights on TV rather

0:00:35 > 0:00:39than funding from Team GB as an amateur Olympic athlete.

0:00:39 > 0:00:42She said the time was right.

0:00:42 > 0:00:49I wanted to leave the amateur game a world champion as well as a double

0:00:49 > 0:00:54Olympic champion, so I decided to stay and fulfil my goals.

0:00:54 > 0:00:56I wanted to be a double Olympic champion,

0:00:56 > 0:01:01world champion and leave ranked number one as well.

0:01:01 > 0:01:03To another sport, but one that's called the Formula 1

0:01:03 > 0:01:06of the ice skating world - longtrack speedskating!

0:01:06 > 0:01:09A hundred years ago, it was Great Britain who dominated,

0:01:09 > 0:01:12but now the Team GB team have a new home in the Netherlands.

0:01:12 > 0:01:16Martin explains.

0:01:16 > 0:01:20The frozen Fens in east England was the home of a traditional form

0:01:20 > 0:01:24of ice-skating called track speed skating, where people would race

0:01:24 > 0:01:27each other on a frozen lake around a long track.

0:01:27 > 0:01:30However, in recent years the temperatures have risen

0:01:30 > 0:01:32and the Fens rarely freeze over.

0:01:32 > 0:01:36This meant the popularity of track speed skating dropped in the UK.

0:01:36 > 0:01:40However, here in the Netherlands, it is booming and some of the UK's

0:01:40 > 0:01:44best long track speed skaters are now training here at this giant

0:01:44 > 0:01:48arena for competitions.

0:01:48 > 0:01:51Let's find out why people enjoy speed skating.

0:01:51 > 0:01:53I feel like I'm part of the wind!

0:01:53 > 0:01:56The first couple of steps you really need to be explosive,

0:01:56 > 0:01:59really need to get that speed up and then on the second bit,

0:01:59 > 0:02:02you can accelerate and really finish your stride.

0:02:02 > 0:02:05It's hoped that top facilities like this will encourage people

0:02:05 > 0:02:11to try out long track speed skating.

0:02:11 > 0:02:14Next up, it's barely the time it takes to tie your laces,

0:02:14 > 0:02:18but ten seconds is all it took for 19 buildings to be blown up

0:02:18 > 0:02:20in a controlled explosion in China.

0:02:20 > 0:02:23Demolition experts used five tonnes of explosives, which brought down

0:02:23 > 0:02:25the buildings in Wuhan.

0:02:25 > 0:02:31It's all to make way for a 700m tall skyscraper.

0:02:31 > 0:02:33Now, some of you may play musical instruments,

0:02:33 > 0:02:36but can you imagine coming from a home where everyone

0:02:36 > 0:02:37is a top musician?

0:02:37 > 0:02:47Well, I met one family who are all musically in-tune.

0:02:47 > 0:02:49I play the violin.

0:02:49 > 0:02:50I play the cello.

0:02:50 > 0:02:51I play the piano.

0:02:51 > 0:02:52I play the violin.

0:02:52 > 0:02:56I play the cello.

0:02:56 > 0:02:58Meet the Kanneh-Mason family.

0:02:58 > 0:03:00They're all - you've guessed it - pretty

0:03:00 > 0:03:01musical.

0:03:01 > 0:03:04You guys come from a really musical family, don't you?

0:03:04 > 0:03:05Yes.

0:03:05 > 0:03:07Tell me a little bit about it.

0:03:07 > 0:03:14It's busy and exciting.

0:03:14 > 0:03:17It can be very noisy and it can be kind of annoying when

0:03:17 > 0:03:18you wake up.

0:03:18 > 0:03:21I'm rather used to it when I always wake up and I can

0:03:21 > 0:03:25always hear the noise and sound of music.

0:03:29 > 0:03:33What do you love about music and why?

0:03:33 > 0:03:37I love music because it just has a lovely, nice sound with

0:03:37 > 0:03:38every instrument.

0:03:38 > 0:03:41What I love about music is the fact that everyone is

0:03:41 > 0:03:44different, it's not like maths where every answer is exactly the same.

0:03:44 > 0:03:46You all play musical instruments, what is it

0:03:46 > 0:03:49like to play as a group?

0:03:49 > 0:03:51When we all get together, it's really nice and

0:03:51 > 0:03:54it's just really noisy and I like that.

0:03:54 > 0:03:57It's really nice playing with siblings, because it's easy to tell

0:03:57 > 0:04:00them what to do without putting it into words, they just kind of know

0:04:00 > 0:04:01what to do next.

0:04:01 > 0:04:02You just look at people.

0:04:02 > 0:04:05Yeah, and they just know what to do.

0:04:05 > 0:04:08I couldn't leave this musical home without asking them for

0:04:08 > 0:04:10one musical request.

0:04:10 > 0:04:14Could you play the Newsround theme music?

0:04:14 > 0:04:22NEWSROUND THEME

0:04:22 > 0:04:23Not bad, guys.

0:04:23 > 0:04:26Not bad.

0:04:26 > 0:04:29Where do you see a floating washing up liquid bottle,

0:04:29 > 0:04:32bottles of champagne

0:04:32 > 0:04:33and even giant Lego men?

0:04:33 > 0:04:36It's not a riddle - only one place - hot air balloon races.

0:04:36 > 0:04:39This is an International Hot Air Balloon festival in the Swiss alps.

0:04:39 > 0:04:43Doesn't it look totally amazing in all that snow?

0:04:43 > 0:04:46That's it from me, but go online to see why YouTube star Dan TDM
