:00:00. > :00:10.Hello. I'm Jenny live this Sunday lunchtime with your next Newsround

:00:11. > :00:12.update. You're not going to want to change channels, because we've got

:00:13. > :00:17.all this coming up: So near and yet so far. Britain's

:00:18. > :00:20.four men bob team just miss out on a medal by milliseconds.

:00:21. > :00:28.On this last day of the Sochi Games, you've been telling us your Winter

:00:29. > :00:32.Olympics highlights. First to Ukraine, a country whose

:00:33. > :00:36.leader has disappeared. President Victor Yanukovich is at the centre

:00:37. > :00:39.of what looks like a revolution. He has been removed by the country's

:00:40. > :00:43.parliament and a stand-in president has been appointed. A huge amount

:00:44. > :00:47.has happened in Ukraine in the past few days, so I've been taking a look

:00:48. > :00:54.back at an extraordinary week. Ukraine. A country in crisis. But

:00:55. > :00:56.why did it all start? In November last year, Ukraine's President

:00:57. > :01:00.Viktor Yanukovych decided not to sign a deal with the European Union.

:01:01. > :01:04.He wanted Ukraine to stay closer to Russia. People took to Independence

:01:05. > :01:10.Square and began protesting peacefully about the decision. They

:01:11. > :01:13.want to be part of Europe and don't like how the President runs Ukraine.

:01:14. > :01:27.But on Tuesday those protests turned violent. Dozens were killed and many

:01:28. > :01:30.more injured in days of fierce clashes between police and

:01:31. > :01:33.protestors. Both sides blamed each other for the violence. It carried

:01:34. > :01:37.on until Friday when the President announced a deal to hold elections

:01:38. > :01:39.before the end of this year. But the protestors said they wanted nothing

:01:40. > :01:42.less than the President's resignation. By Saturday morning,

:01:43. > :01:45.the President was nowhere to be seen. Protestors took control of the

:01:46. > :01:48.presidential palace which had been left empty. He disappeared.

:01:49. > :01:53.Everybody wants to know where the President is. Ukraine's MPs voted to

:01:54. > :01:56.remove the President and released his biggest rival, former Prime

:01:57. > :02:05.Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, from prison, where she had been for three

:02:06. > :02:08.years. So what is next for Ukraine? At the moment, no-one knows.

:02:09. > :02:12.President Yanukovych has spoken on TV saying he is not going anywhere

:02:13. > :02:15.and this attack on his leadership is illegal. Meanwhile, thousands of

:02:16. > :02:18.protestors are still in Independence Square in Kiev and say they won't go

:02:19. > :02:22.anywhere until the President steps down.

:02:23. > :02:25.To the Winter Olympics in Sochi now, where in the past few hours the

:02:26. > :02:29.final runs of the four-man bobsleigh have taken place. It was Team GB's

:02:30. > :02:33.last chance for a medal. The British team were in sixth place going into

:02:34. > :02:36.the final run, and needed to catch up two tenths of a second to go into

:02:37. > :02:40.bronze medal position. They made their fastest start and had a great

:02:41. > :02:43.run but just couldn't quite make up enough time and ended up in fifth

:02:44. > :02:47.place. Home favourites Russia won gold but the British boys weren't

:02:48. > :02:51.too downhearted. It's been a great race and we're

:02:52. > :02:54.only 11 100ths off the medals, but sometimes just being involved in

:02:55. > :02:59.such a great race makes it worthwhile and it's enjoyable.

:03:00. > :03:06.Stuart, you did four fantastic starts, and John did four fantastic

:03:07. > :03:15.drives. We couldn't ask any more of ourselves. The combination of three

:03:16. > :03:20.years of hard work, the training camp we had before to prep for it

:03:21. > :03:23.and we stood on the line and gave everything. That's all you can ask

:03:24. > :03:27.for, really. The fifth place is an awesome result, really.

:03:28. > :03:30.Loads of you have been in touch already. Alice loved the Curling,

:03:31. > :03:33.saying: I would love to do what they do. I am so happy that both British

:03:34. > :03:36.teams got a medal. Abigail's highlight was the

:03:37. > :03:38.bobsleigh, she says: it looks so dangerous, the team must be very

:03:39. > :03:41.proud. Annabel from London really enjoyed

:03:42. > :03:52.when Great Britain won the gold medal, saying it was a moment to

:03:53. > :03:55.remember. Thanks for those, guys. So, as the ice hockey final closes

:03:56. > :03:58.out the games, the last big extravaganza is the Closing Ceremony

:03:59. > :04:01.this afternoon, which is thought to be a look back through Russia's

:04:02. > :04:04.cultural history. Skeleton superstar Lizzie Yarnold is gearing up to fly

:04:05. > :04:08.Britain's flag. Amy Williams, who won gold in the skeleton four years

:04:09. > :04:18.ago, says leading out her team will be a special experience for Lizzy.

:04:19. > :04:22.It is an honour to be chosen. To have your team-mates behind you and

:04:23. > :04:25.to walk into the closing ceremony, it's an amazing experience and I

:04:26. > :04:31.hope she enjoys it and flies that flag proud for Great Britain.

:04:32. > :04:35.And with the Winter Olympics drawing to a close today, head over to the

:04:36. > :04:38.Newsround website and check out pictures of the best moments from

:04:39. > :04:42.the Games. And on the website is also where you will find our weekly

:04:43. > :04:45.round-up of the weirdest stories in the news. Strange, Stranger,

:04:46. > :04:48.Strangest! And we thought we'd leave you with this week's weirdest

:04:49. > :04:53.stories, so sit back, relax, and let Ayshah take you through the

:04:54. > :04:56.strangeness. Everyone is getting into the Olympic

:04:57. > :05:02.spirit, right? Including these pampered pets in Russia. They've

:05:03. > :05:05.been dressed up Sochi-style to show off a range of clothing made

:05:06. > :05:09.especially for our furry friends. Super-cute!

:05:10. > :05:13.Even more sinkholes have appeared this week. One opened up in Hemel

:05:14. > :05:16.Hempstead in Hertfordshire and 17 homes had to be evacuated. Another

:05:17. > :05:20.sinkhole appeared in Ripon in North Yorkshire just days later. Homes had

:05:21. > :05:25.to be evacuated there, too. Luckily, nobody was hurt. Experts say the

:05:26. > :05:34.recent wet weather is partly to blame.

:05:35. > :05:38.Finally, some cat capers. Check out this little moggy having his weekly

:05:39. > :05:43.swim. Cats usually hate water, but Morph, who is 14, is so brave he let

:05:44. > :05:46.his owner and his specialist vet put him in a pool. He's having a

:05:47. > :05:55.treatment called hydrotherapy to ease his achy joints.

:05:56. > :05:57.That's all from me. Newsround is back tomorrow morning with Leah.

:05:58. > :06:02.Have a great day.
