:00:00. > :00:22.Good morning, I'm Ayshah, and I've got your Wednesday headlines.

:00:23. > :00:25.A giant panda checking out her new home.

:00:26. > :00:41.And the royals hit the DJ decks down under. This is Newsround.

:00:42. > :00:45.First, to a very special birthday. 450 years ago today a man was born

:00:46. > :00:48.who many say was the greatest writer ever to pick up a quill - playwright

:00:49. > :00:52.William Shakespeare. Celebrations will be taking place up and down the

:00:53. > :00:55.country to mark the anniversary, including a fireworks display in his

:00:56. > :00:57.home town of Stratford-upon-Avon. He's credited with inventing

:00:58. > :01:01.thousands of words we use today, like "swagger" and "fashionable",

:01:02. > :01:03.but his legacy has far more to it than that, as Nel's been finding

:01:04. > :01:04.out. Many people think William

:01:05. > :01:07.Shakespeare was the greatest British writer of all time. We know that he

:01:08. > :01:10.looks something like this, but because he worked so long ago much

:01:11. > :01:12.of his life is still a mystery. Shakespeare wrote a block Astor

:01:13. > :01:14.Place of his day, he wrote about good things and saplings, happy

:01:15. > :01:20.things and scary things -- the blockbuster plays of his day. He

:01:21. > :01:25.knew how to make people laugh and cry. You would sit and look at the

:01:26. > :01:31.play and gasp. Shakespeare is thought to have invented over 2000

:01:32. > :01:35.words including horrid, lonely and majestic. He is also responsible for

:01:36. > :01:44.phrases like in a pickle and vanished into thin a. Our language

:01:45. > :01:47.would not be the same without him. Shakespeare is like learning a new

:01:48. > :01:51.language when you read it. Shakespeare makes you laugh and

:01:52. > :01:57.cry, that's important for a writer. Ray mac it has got old English,

:01:58. > :02:01.which you may not understand. If you really think about it then you can

:02:02. > :02:09.understand most of it. His work proves timeless. His plays and

:02:10. > :02:21.hundreds of homes are taught in schools and performed in theatres

:02:22. > :02:24.around the world. A day after David Moyes was sacked

:02:25. > :02:28.as Manchester United manager the focus is now turning to who will

:02:29. > :02:31.replace him. Ryan Giggs has been put in charge temporarily until the end

:02:32. > :02:35.of the season with Netherlands boss Louis van Gaal and Borussia Dortmund

:02:36. > :02:38.coach Jurgen Klopp some of the names suggested. But Bayern Munich manager

:02:39. > :02:40.Pep Guardiola has ruled himself out of the job.

:02:41. > :02:50.I am here, I am in Bayern Munich and I will stay two more years. We won

:02:51. > :02:56.the Bundesliga, but I feel that our team can be better.

:02:57. > :03:00.To last night's football, and Chelsea fought hard to hold Atletico

:03:01. > :03:02.Madrid to a 0-0 draw in their Champions League semifinal first

:03:03. > :03:06.leg. But at what cost? Goalkeeper Petr Cech took a tough fall in the

:03:07. > :03:10.first half and had to be stretchered off. And captain John Terry also had

:03:11. > :03:14.a nasty tumble after half-time and had to come off too. Both players

:03:15. > :03:18.are out for the rest of the season, and Frank Lampard and John Obi Mikel

:03:19. > :03:24.are suspended for next week's return leg too.

:03:25. > :03:28.We had problems before the game, we had daughters during the game. We

:03:29. > :03:40.lost for players during the game, two with injuries and two with

:03:41. > :03:43.yellow cards. But we will fight. Sticking with sport, Newsround's off

:03:44. > :03:46.to meet Andy Murray later today. And if you've ever wanted to ask him

:03:47. > :03:49.anything now's your chance, because he's also taking part in a live

:03:50. > :03:52.online chat. The Wimbledon Champion will be taking questions from

:03:53. > :03:57.youngsters across the UK live at 2pm today. You can find out how to ask

:03:58. > :04:02.him a question on the BBC Get Inspired website.

:04:03. > :04:10.Now, to some DJ-ing Down Under for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

:04:11. > :04:13.They took to the decks while visiting a music project in Adelaide

:04:14. > :04:17.on day 17 of their tour of Australia and New Zealand, though young Prince

:04:18. > :04:20.George wasn't with them for this visit. The couple also watched rap,

:04:21. > :04:21.hip hop and Aboriginal dance performances, and chatted to young

:04:22. > :04:24.artists. Next, a female panda bred in

:04:25. > :04:27.captivity has been successfully released into the wild in southwest

:04:28. > :04:30.China. Zhang Xiang is enjoying her new surroundings and gaining weight.

:04:31. > :04:33.It's part of a continuing programme, which aims to release more

:04:34. > :04:36.captive-bred pandas into their natural habitats. Giant pandas are

:04:37. > :04:46.one of the world's most endangered animals with only around 1,500

:04:47. > :04:49.living in the wild in China. As well as being Shakespeare's

:04:50. > :04:52.birthday today, it's also St George's Day, celebrating the patron

:04:53. > :04:56.saint of England. But how much do you know about St George? The

:04:57. > :05:00.Newsround website is the place to go try our quiz all about him.

:05:01. > :05:02.That's all from me, Leah's back in Newsround HQ this afternoon.
