0:00:27 > 0:00:30First - to the BIG story that you're loving on Newsround online today.

0:00:30 > 0:00:33Yep, this is our Ayshah going down the world's tallest

0:00:33 > 0:00:34and longest tunnel slide!

0:00:34 > 0:00:37It's opening in London tomorrow in the park where the 2012

0:00:37 > 0:00:42Olympics took place...

0:00:42 > 0:00:45Since the Games finished, the site has been transformed and has hosted

0:00:45 > 0:00:47lots of other sporting events.

0:00:47 > 0:00:49But what could this huge sculpture be turned into?

0:00:49 > 0:00:52A giant slide, of course.

0:00:52 > 0:00:54We were first asked about it two years ago.

0:00:54 > 0:00:57They said, is it possible to have a slide?

0:00:57 > 0:01:00The answer is of course yes, we want to have a slide.

0:01:00 > 0:01:01How did you go about doing it?

0:01:01 > 0:01:03We had to track it out.

0:01:03 > 0:01:05We went down some other big slides and any had to

0:01:05 > 0:01:07work out how to go the right speed.

0:01:07 > 0:01:10If you add in corners, as you are pushed out into the

0:01:10 > 0:01:14corner that helps you go down a bit and so the corners are not just

0:01:14 > 0:01:17for fun, they help control the speed on the way down.

0:01:17 > 0:01:18There's only one thing for it.

0:01:18 > 0:01:19I'm going to have to slide down.

0:01:19 > 0:01:22But not for fun because I am a serious news journalist

0:01:22 > 0:01:25so I'm going to be getting you all the facts you need

0:01:25 > 0:01:26to know while I'm sliding down.

0:01:26 > 0:01:30It goes round 12 times and is taller than the Statue of Liberty.

0:01:30 > 0:01:32I'm going 15 miles an hour right now but

0:01:32 > 0:01:33it feels so much faster.

0:01:33 > 0:01:35And I can't remember any of the other facts

0:01:35 > 0:01:45because I'm going way too fast!

0:01:56 > 0:01:57Wait, it is 111 mes.

0:01:57 > 0:01:59The things I do for Newsround.

0:01:59 > 0:02:02OK, time for a quick round-up of today's other big stories.

0:02:02 > 0:02:04London and south-east England have been hit by sudden floods after

0:02:04 > 0:02:05heavy rain and lightning overnight.

0:02:05 > 0:02:09People in this home woke up to water coming UP through their toilet.

0:02:09 > 0:02:10One month's worth of rain fell overnight -

0:02:10 > 0:02:18and forecasters say there's more wet weather to come.

0:02:18 > 0:02:20These guys wouldn't mind a bit of rainy weather...

0:02:20 > 0:02:22They're mountain chicken frogs and they're critically endangered.

0:02:22 > 0:02:25Now a plan to help save them has started in the north of England.

0:02:25 > 0:02:27Conservationists have created a climate-controlled home

0:02:27 > 0:02:29in a shipping container at Chester Zoo and matched up frogs

0:02:29 > 0:02:36in the hope they'll breed.

0:02:36 > 0:02:39And some of you may have had your schools turned

0:02:39 > 0:02:40into polling stations today.

0:02:40 > 0:02:42It's because there's a massive vote for adults

0:02:42 > 0:02:45on whether the UK should stay in, or leave, a club of countries

0:02:45 > 0:02:46called the European Union.

0:02:46 > 0:02:48Voting ends at 10pm - and we'll bring you the result

0:02:48 > 0:02:54tomorrow on Newsround.

0:02:54 > 0:02:57Next - it's on an epic journey around the world

0:03:10 > 0:03:11its round-the-world trip.

0:03:11 > 0:03:15The aim of the mission is to show what solar power can do.

0:03:15 > 0:03:21The future is clean and it starts now.

0:03:21 > 0:03:23The aircraft is powered by 17,000 solar cells that power

0:03:23 > 0:03:25the motors and batteries.

0:03:25 > 0:03:28The journey started in March last year in Abu Dhabi -

0:03:28 > 0:03:30stopping off in countries like India, China and Japan.

0:03:30 > 0:03:33From there, it flew to Hawaii - a record flight that

0:03:33 > 0:03:35lasted almost five days.

0:03:35 > 0:03:37But the plane damaged its batteries and had to stay

0:03:37 > 0:03:38grounded for 10 months.

0:03:38 > 0:03:41Then in April this year, Solar Impulse 2 took to the skies

0:03:41 > 0:03:43again, stopping at different states in America.

0:03:43 > 0:03:46It left New York on Monday to cross the Atlantic Ocean.

0:04:10 > 0:04:13who's in France for the Euros - to stay on for four more years.

0:04:13 > 0:04:16There was talk that Vardy might leave the Foxes for Arsenal,

0:04:16 > 0:04:23after the Gunners made a bid for him earlier this month.

0:04:23 > 0:04:25That news will make many Leicester fans happy -
