0:00:50 > 0:00:54I'm training, I'm doing pretty well, everything's going smooth.

0:00:54 > 0:00:57But I can tell that I need races, it's just one of those things.

0:00:57 > 0:01:00How are you going to do that?

0:01:00 > 0:01:02Just go to Rio and like last year, just run.

0:01:02 > 0:01:05That's what I have to do.

0:01:05 > 0:01:07Continue training and continue pushing myself in training.

0:01:07 > 0:01:10Hopefully, it'll all come together.

0:01:10 > 0:01:12And take a look at this.

0:01:12 > 0:01:15After winning the 200 metres, Usain Bolt threw his shoes

0:01:15 > 0:01:16into the crowd.

0:01:16 > 0:01:19The woman who caught them couldn't believe her luck!

0:01:19 > 0:01:24She's now the owner of a sweaty pair of Bolt's trainers.

0:01:24 > 0:01:26Well, from one record holder to another.

0:01:26 > 0:01:29Kendra Harrison from the US broke the 28-year- old 100 metre hurdles

0:01:29 > 0:01:33world record with a new quickest time of 12.2 seconds.

0:01:33 > 0:01:36But get this - that's Kendra's highlight of her summer

0:01:36 > 0:01:41as the American won't be going to the Olympics

0:01:41 > 0:01:44after failing at the US trials. going to the Olympics

0:01:44 > 0:01:47Cycling now and Britain's Chris Froome is on his way

0:01:47 > 0:01:49to winning his third Tour De France in four years.

0:01:49 > 0:01:52This is despite the fact he crashed yesterday and had

0:01:52 > 0:01:56to borrow a teammate's bike to finish the race.

0:01:56 > 0:01:59Luckily for him, his closest challenger also crashed.

0:01:59 > 0:02:01After getting back on his bike, Froome managed to increase his

0:02:01 > 0:02:05lead to whopping four minutes, 11 seconds.

0:02:05 > 0:02:08The final stage will take place in the French

0:02:08 > 0:02:10capital Paris on Sunday.

0:02:10 > 0:02:13Football now and the new England manager was finally

0:02:13 > 0:02:14confirmed yesterday.

0:02:14 > 0:02:17The Football Association finally confirmed Sam Allardyce has been

0:02:17 > 0:02:21given a two year contract to lead the English team.

0:02:21 > 0:02:23The former Sunderland and West Ham manager seemed pretty happy

0:02:23 > 0:02:28with his new job.

0:02:28 > 0:02:30Get that smile!

0:02:30 > 0:02:33I can't imagine we can't get that smile.

0:02:33 > 0:02:36Excuse me, I can't stop smiling cos I've got this job.

0:02:36 > 0:02:39This is a job I've waited for for many, many years and I'm

0:02:39 > 0:02:43absolutely delighted that I'm now sat in this privileged position

0:02:43 > 0:02:47of being the England national team manager.

0:02:47 > 0:02:51It's going to be a great thrill for me to take the team forward

0:02:51 > 0:02:54from the nation's point of view and hopefully make everybody

0:02:54 > 0:02:58so proud of the England team again.

0:02:58 > 0:03:00Finally, each year scientists at the Sea Watch foundation lead

0:03:00 > 0:03:03a week-long campaign at the start of the summer holidays to get

0:03:03 > 0:03:06you guys and grown-ups out and about around the UK

0:03:06 > 0:03:08to spot wildlife.

0:03:08 > 0:03:12We've sent Martin to Cardigan Bay in Wales to join in with some

0:03:12 > 0:03:15young dolphin spotters.

0:03:15 > 0:03:17Cardigan Bay -

0:03:17 > 0:03:20a coast dotted by fishing villages, seaside resorts and

0:03:20 > 0:03:23beautiful stretches of beach.

0:03:23 > 0:03:26But perhaps it's best known as the home of the UK's largest

0:03:26 > 0:03:31population of Bottlenose dolphins.

0:03:31 > 0:03:34Over the past 40 years, whales, dolphins and harbour porpoises have

0:03:34 > 0:03:39been monitored by scientists and volunteers all around the coast.

0:03:39 > 0:03:42And today, I've joined these guys who are taking part

0:03:42 > 0:03:47in an annual organised watch here on the Welsh coast.

0:03:47 > 0:03:50Seawatch's conservation work hopes to improve the protection of whales

0:03:50 > 0:03:54and dolphins around Britain and Ireland by keeping

0:03:54 > 0:04:00track of and identifying the individuals here.

0:04:00 > 0:04:04Despite two hours at sea, not one dolphin appeared.

0:04:04 > 0:04:07But that didn't stop these guys who are back on land to try

0:04:07 > 0:04:10things a different way.

0:04:10 > 0:04:13I've looked out there about five times and every time,

0:04:13 > 0:04:14I'm convinced that I've seen a dolphin.

0:04:14 > 0:04:17It's not, it's a wave.

0:04:17 > 0:04:20Despite the disappointment so far, how are they feeling?

0:04:20 > 0:04:23I quite like doing this sort of thing but I haven't really

0:04:23 > 0:04:25done it much before.

0:04:25 > 0:04:28I felt quite disappointed that we didn't see a dolphin but I'm

0:04:28 > 0:04:30hoping that we'll see one later today.

0:04:30 > 0:04:33I was really, really hoping to see one out in the wild

0:04:33 > 0:04:36and jumping out of the waves.

0:04:36 > 0:04:3829 species of whale, dolphin and porpoise have been

0:04:38 > 0:04:41recorded in our seas.

0:04:41 > 0:04:4413 species identified during whale and dolphin watches like this one.

0:04:44 > 0:04:50So why is this so important?

0:04:50 > 0:04:52Basically, we want to know what's out there.

0:04:52 > 0:04:55We want to know where are they and when are they.

0:04:55 > 0:04:58We need as many eyes as possible on the sea over the national whale

0:04:58 > 0:05:01and dolphin watch and so, we'd like to encourage as many

0:05:01 > 0:05:02people as possible to do that.

0:05:02 > 0:05:05If anyone can go out there with their families and do

0:05:05 > 0:05:07watches over that nine day period that starts on Saturday,

0:05:07 > 0:05:10then the more the better.

0:05:10 > 0:05:12The more data we get on dolphins and the more information

0:05:12 > 0:05:15that we have to protect them.

0:05:15 > 0:05:17We've now been looking for dolphins for six hours

0:05:17 > 0:05:19and we haven't seen one.

0:05:19 > 0:05:21Dolphins!

0:05:21 > 0:05:23Woo-hoo!

0:05:23 > 0:05:26They're playing round these two white buoys right there.

0:05:26 > 0:05:29They seem to be really close.

0:05:29 > 0:05:32This morning we didn't get any luck and I was quite disappointed

0:05:32 > 0:05:36and I really wanted to see a dolphin by the end of the day and it just

0:05:36 > 0:05:38shows that if you have patience and you wait and you look,

0:05:38 > 0:05:42you will find it in the end.

0:05:42 > 0:05:44It was well worth it.

0:05:44 > 0:05:46There it is again.

0:05:46 > 0:05:49That's all from me, but if you want to find out more

0:05:49 > 0:05:52about a record breaking hot air balloonist then head online

0:05:52 > 0:05:54where you'll also find the rest of today's top stories.

0:05:54 > 0:06:02See you just before 2. Bye.
