:00:07. > :00:11.It's Friday! Yes!

:00:11. > :00:15.It's just after 5:00pm! Yes!

:00:15. > :00:19.That must mean it's Newsround?! Yes! Here's what's coming up:

:00:19. > :00:27.The UK braces itself for more flooding.

:00:27. > :00:37.Ricky gets a bit too close to a dinosaur. And keep watching to find

:00:37. > :00:45.

:00:45. > :00:50.out about danger in the manger Roads cut off, homes evacuated and

:00:50. > :00:53.travel chaos. The heavy rain and high winds are

:00:53. > :00:56.once again causing big trouble across many parts of the UK.

:00:56. > :01:04.More than 70 flood warnings are in force. And over the weekend things

:01:04. > :01:08.are expected to get a lot worse as I've been finding out.

:01:08. > :01:13.The grim pictures that sum up the last 24 hours for many people

:01:13. > :01:17.across parts of the UK Bostock this street in north Wales, also flooded

:01:17. > :01:22.the emergency services had a hard time getting to where they needed

:01:22. > :01:26.to be. It was not just the rain. We were nearly blown away whilst at

:01:27. > :01:31.filming in North Wales yesterday. Things got worse as it got later

:01:31. > :01:35.and in Birmingham the wind was so powerful it blew off the roof of

:01:35. > :01:42.this mosque. No one was hers. In the south-west, hundreds of people

:01:42. > :01:46.were left without power and railways are closed. Why did the

:01:46. > :01:50.floods happen? We had droughts earlier in the year because the

:01:50. > :01:55.water table, which is where the natural level of the water level is

:01:55. > :01:59.beneath the ground was very low. Since then we had the wettest

:01:59. > :02:04.summer in 100 years. That raised the water level up. When we had

:02:04. > :02:10.rain, the rain filters into the ground and continues to make the

:02:10. > :02:15.water table rise. Over the last few days we have had lots of water in

:02:15. > :02:19.the ground, so any you rain coming in were just flow out to the low-

:02:19. > :02:24.lying areas and caused flooding. The rain has just started a game.

:02:24. > :02:29.It has been a nice day up until now so people have had the chance to

:02:29. > :02:33.clean up the mess. But they will have to prepare for what is to come.

:02:33. > :02:37.There are just over 70 flood warnings for England and Wales and

:02:37. > :02:41.things are expected to go was over the weekend as the wet weather

:02:41. > :02:46.starts again in the south-west and Wales before moving over to cover

:02:46. > :02:50.nearly the whole of the country by Sunday. It is not time to put away

:02:50. > :02:53.the sandbags for many just yet. They bring you your Christmas and

:02:53. > :02:56.birthday cards but our postmen and women were attacked 3,000 times in

:02:56. > :02:59.the last year by dogs. At the moment it's hard for them to

:02:59. > :03:02.do anything about it because technically they're on private

:03:02. > :03:06.property. But now Royal Mail wants the government to change the law so

:03:06. > :03:08.owners of dangerous dogs can be taken to court more easily.

:03:08. > :03:15.I've been out on the rounds with postman, Thom, in Greater

:03:15. > :03:19.Manchester to find out about his experience with a dog. Just

:03:19. > :03:25.delivering a post on a normal date. As I put my hand through the

:03:25. > :03:29.letterbox, the dog grabbed the letters and took my hand with it. A

:03:29. > :03:36.couple of holes in my hand and bleeding. I am more cautious when

:03:36. > :03:42.delivering. You're thinking about the dogs in houses and stuck. A lot

:03:42. > :03:45.can be done, simple as putting a sign on the door saying, beware of

:03:45. > :03:47.the dock. Now I bet you thought Mexico was

:03:47. > :03:50.just called Mexico right? Well, you're wrong! The country's

:03:50. > :03:52.official title is the United States of Mexico, just like it's neighbour,

:03:52. > :03:56.America. That could be about to change. The Mexican president

:03:56. > :03:59.doesn't want to be like the USA any more and wants his country's name

:03:59. > :04:01.to change to just Mexico, as it's known the world over. He's trying

:04:01. > :04:04.to get the plan passed through parliament.

:04:04. > :04:07.Christmas is definitely getting closer, the lights are up, the ads

:04:07. > :04:12.are starting and the first big Christmas film hits cinemas today.

:04:12. > :04:22.Nativity 2 stars David Tennant and was mainly filmed without a script.

:04:22. > :04:28.Take a look. It has got a bit of a X Factor.

:04:28. > :04:35.will go through to boot camp. splash of drama. And a lot of silly

:04:35. > :04:40.stuff. This is a British film all about Christmas. It follows Mr

:04:40. > :04:43.poppy and his class of unruly kids to Wales as they try to win a

:04:43. > :04:48.singing competition. But this time they have a new teacher, an actor

:04:48. > :04:54.who has played a travelling Time Lord before. Even he admits it was

:04:54. > :04:59.chaos. The film is improvised which means we do not have a script. Use

:04:59. > :05:03.the you know who is going to say what and when. I spent a day in a

:05:03. > :05:08.school to see how real teachers do it to pick up any tips. Making a

:05:08. > :05:13.movie without a script is unusual. And most of the cast had only done

:05:13. > :05:18.a bit of acting on school nativity plays. What was it like to act

:05:18. > :05:23.along the kids who had not done much acting before. What are the

:05:23. > :05:26.use as a grown-up former, they respond. It we can watch little

:05:26. > :05:31.people and then how they respond in the moment, the world would be

:05:31. > :05:36.happier. It was great fun because they are so spontaneous. You have

:05:36. > :05:41.no idea what they will say or do. Most of the kids were in the first

:05:41. > :05:44.film and have returned. This ten- year-old Ben was seven in the first

:05:44. > :05:50.movie and his career has kicked off ever since. This is him

:05:50. > :05:59.entertaining kids in hospital in Between his acting, stand up comedy.

:05:59. > :06:02.You have met Tom Cruise? I bumped into him. For Ben and his cast of

:06:03. > :06:05.kissed, this will be an extra special Christmas. And knows, they

:06:05. > :06:09.might be back for more sequels in the future.

:06:09. > :06:11.And you can also check out my review of the film over on our

:06:11. > :06:14.website. Ever wondered what it's like to be

:06:14. > :06:18.up close and personal with a real- life dinosaur? Yes!

:06:18. > :06:21.Well prepare yourself for what I reckon is the next best thing. A

:06:21. > :06:31.live show with puppets called Walking With Dinosaurs is coming to

:06:31. > :06:37.

:06:37. > :06:44.London next month, and Ricky's been It is pretty rare we have dinosaurs

:06:44. > :06:50.at media city UK. Tell us about this creature? He is very realistic.

:06:51. > :06:58.This is a baby T Rex. He is a lot smaller than he would have been. He

:06:58. > :07:06.would have been seven metres tall and 30 metres long. His mother is

:07:06. > :07:10.in the show as well. -- 30 metres. You do start believing in dinosaurs.

:07:10. > :07:17.I am a scientist and I know from fossils they are real, but when you

:07:17. > :07:25.see them like this you believe they were alike. It is fantastic.

:07:25. > :07:30.cannot eat the microphone! Wide you think we are still fascinated by

:07:30. > :07:36.them? I think because they are amazing creatures. They are

:07:36. > :07:42.stunning. Many of them are huge. Some are small but the range up to

:07:42. > :07:47.huge creatures. It is amazing to know so much about life beyond 65

:07:47. > :07:57.million years ago. Banks are coming on a programme. You are the oldest

:07:57. > :08:08.

:08:08. > :08:11.Was he all right? Next, it's not where most of us

:08:11. > :08:14.would choose to live but a couple in China are staying put in their

:08:14. > :08:17.house even though it's smack, bang in the middle of a motorway!

:08:17. > :08:20.They're the only people left in their neighbourhood after it was

:08:20. > :08:22.knocked down to build the road. They say the authorities aren't

:08:22. > :08:25.offering them enough money for their house, so builders have

:08:25. > :08:28.turned it into a roundabout. Finally, listen up One Direction

:08:28. > :08:30.fans because the boys have made history once again! Yes, One

:08:30. > :08:33.Direction have become the first ever British band to have their

:08:33. > :08:38.first two albums go straight to the top of the American Billboard

:08:38. > :08:48.Charts! Their second album, Take Me Home, sold more than half a million

:08:48. > :08:51.
