:00:00. > :00:12.Hi, Ricky here with another Newsround update. The countdown

:00:13. > :00:15.begins. We find out how Britain's first astronaut is preparing for

:00:16. > :00:25.space. And the seriously extreme moves from the X Games... Keep

:00:26. > :00:27.watching. First this morning, members of the

:00:28. > :00:31.Syrian government and the opposition, who want them out of

:00:32. > :00:34.power, will meet face to face for the first time today, to try and

:00:35. > :00:38.reach a peace agreement. The war in Syria's been raging for three years

:00:39. > :00:42.now and has killed over a 100,000 people. The long awaited peace talks

:00:43. > :00:44.began in Geneva in Switzerland on Wednesday. But so far there have

:00:45. > :00:47.been angry speeches and accusations from both sides, that the other side

:00:48. > :00:50.caused the conflict. Britain's first astronaut Major Time

:00:51. > :00:54.Peak is gearing up for his mission to the International Space Station -

:00:55. > :00:57.which takes place next year. Major Tim will spend six months in space

:00:58. > :01:01.and is training at the European Astronaut Centre in Germany where

:01:02. > :01:04.they have a replica of the space station. He's also using a pool to

:01:05. > :01:16.try and experience what it's like to work in zero gravity. We can

:01:17. > :01:28.practice walking. If you can imagine in a space suit, it is difficult to

:01:29. > :01:34.venture fingers. We need to use these tools to perform tasks.

:01:35. > :01:37.From life in space to what could be the future of money. Bitcoin is

:01:38. > :01:40.digital money that adults can buy online...and it's causing a big fuss

:01:41. > :01:43.in the technology world. So what is it? And is it the future? Ayshah has

:01:44. > :01:47.been finding out. You will need to keep it in a purse

:01:48. > :01:51.or even in a piggy bank. We're talking about bitcoin, a very

:01:52. > :01:55.different way to pay for things. Bitcoin is a type of money but what

:01:56. > :02:02.makes the difference is that they do not need these are these. Instead it

:02:03. > :02:07.causes a sequence of letters and numbers. The easiest way to get hold

:02:08. > :02:12.of these special sequences is to buy them online. You can use them when

:02:13. > :02:18.shopping on some websites and even in a few places like this cafe in

:02:19. > :02:22.east London. How do they work? A customer will come into the shop,

:02:23. > :02:27.they will choose something they want, we will put that into our

:02:28. > :02:36.computer. It will generate a code which we can put in and it will pay

:02:37. > :02:42.it. So why can't we stick to money? It is money you can use anywhere in

:02:43. > :02:51.the world with it paying to change it. Once you find someone who will

:02:52. > :02:55.accept that it is simple. Not everyone agrees that bitcoins are

:02:56. > :03:00.good idea. People are worried if your computer or smartphone gets

:03:01. > :03:06.hacked, they can still use your bitcoin. Those who've decide that it

:03:07. > :03:12.designed bitcoin say it is safe and secure. The problem is you cannot

:03:13. > :03:16.use it everywhere. But more shops and businesses are planning to use

:03:17. > :03:23.it. It looks like we will be hearing more about it and one day we could

:03:24. > :03:27.be saying goodbye to cash like this. In just a few minutes' time, two of

:03:28. > :03:30.the all-time greats in men's tennis - Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer -

:03:31. > :03:33.will do battle in the Australian Open semi-finals in Melbourne.

:03:34. > :03:36.Between them, they've won 30 Grand Slam singles titles. The winner will

:03:37. > :03:44.face Stanislas Wawrinka, in the Final.

:03:45. > :03:48.Next - to football, but with a twist. We all know the plan in any

:03:49. > :03:52.footy match is to score the most goals - but when three teams are

:03:53. > :03:55.playing on the same pitch, at the same time, keeping a clean sheet

:03:56. > :04:02.becomes even more important. This is "Three-Sided Football". At this

:04:03. > :04:10.football club, instead of two teams on Rick tangle of pitch, there are

:04:11. > :04:20.three teams on a hexagonal pitch. You are enemy one-minute -- your

:04:21. > :04:40.enemy. Is your ally the next minute. You have to teams converging on one

:04:41. > :04:44.goal. Head to their website now to see how next month we could be

:04:45. > :04:47.seeing 1D's Louis swapping the stage for the football pitch. He's set to

:04:48. > :04:51.make his debut for Championship side Doncaster Rovers. Head to the

:04:52. > :04:54.website now to read all about the story! Last up - here's a sport you

:04:55. > :05:00.definitely won't see at the Sochi Winter Olympics. This is Colten

:05:01. > :05:01.Moore from the US. He's just won gold at the X Games in Colorado for
