:00:00. > :00:08.Hello there, I'm Ricky, and I've got some big news coming up this

:00:09. > :00:14.afternoon. The giant model mango that's gone missing down under. And

:00:15. > :00:17.the American football stadium going down with a big bang. This is

:00:18. > :00:25.Newsround. First, we're bringing you the very

:00:26. > :00:29.latest from Ukraine. It's been all over the news for the past few

:00:30. > :00:33.weeks, with pictures of huge demonstrations and burning streets

:00:34. > :00:35.in its capital city. What began as a series of protests against the

:00:36. > :00:41.president's decision to form closer ties with Russia developed into

:00:42. > :00:45.something of a revolution. Now the president has been forced from power

:00:46. > :00:47.and there's a new set of people in charge. Here's Nel to explain what's

:00:48. > :00:57.been going on. Tuesday the 18th of February, people

:00:58. > :01:02.have been demonstrating against the president for months, but last week

:01:03. > :01:05.things turned violent. Clashes between protesters and police left

:01:06. > :01:11.dozens dead and hundreds more injured. Thursday, two days later,

:01:12. > :01:17.the country held a national day of mourning, but the violence carried

:01:18. > :01:21.on and more people died. Friday the 21st, President Yanukovych signed a

:01:22. > :01:27.deal with opposition leaders, but the protesters wanted more. They

:01:28. > :01:34.demanded that the president resign. Saturday, things begin to move very

:01:35. > :01:40.quickly. Protesters took control of the capital city, Kirch. President

:01:41. > :01:46.Yanukovych was nowhere to be seen. Parliament voted to remove him from

:01:47. > :01:51.power. Sunday, by the end of the weekend, Ukraine had a stand-in

:01:52. > :01:53.president, but still no-one could be sure where President Yanukovych had

:01:54. > :01:55.gone. As Ukraine's parliament tries to

:01:56. > :01:59.pull together a new government, thousands of protestors are still in

:02:00. > :02:06.the centre of the capital city Kiev, which is a calmer, more reflective

:02:07. > :02:13.place than it was a few days ago. BBC reporter Duncan Crawford centres

:02:14. > :02:16.this. This is Independence Square, it has been a protest camp for the

:02:17. > :02:22.last three months, but last week it turned into a battle zone. Almost

:02:23. > :02:26.100 people died and it has become a shrine to the dead. Just look at all

:02:27. > :02:31.the flowers which have been laid, so many people crying, upset here about

:02:32. > :02:37.the huge loss of life. And people blame the President, President

:02:38. > :02:42.Yanukovych, who has gone missing, he is on the run, and an arrest warrant

:02:43. > :02:47.was issued for him today. So far, no-one knows where he is, though.

:02:48. > :02:52.There is no police in the square at the moment, no security, and the men

:02:53. > :02:54.who remain in charge of the centre of Kiev of the men who manned

:02:55. > :02:58.barricades like this. Head to the website for lots more on

:02:59. > :03:01.this story, including a picture gallery showing the inside of the

:03:02. > :03:03.former president's palace, and to find out more about the history of

:03:04. > :03:06.the troubled country. Mobile-phone makers are showing off

:03:07. > :03:09.their latest designs at the Mobile World Congress in Spain. There's

:03:10. > :03:13.plenty of wearable tech like smart watches on show. They haven't taken

:03:14. > :03:16.off yet, but that isn't stopping the likes of Samsung launching new

:03:17. > :03:19.designs. And this year there's a big focus on affordable smartphones for

:03:20. > :03:23.the developing world, like this Firefox phone. It costs around ?15.

:03:24. > :03:28.Radio 1 gadget guru Jonathan Blake sent us this message, from his

:03:29. > :03:32.smartphone, of course. This is the place to come to see the latest

:03:33. > :03:35.technology before it hits the shops. There are smartphones on

:03:36. > :03:39.display here which are the most powerful, fastest and biggest we

:03:40. > :03:43.have seen yet. But also many cheaper phones, because companies are trying

:03:44. > :03:47.to appeal to the developing world, places where many people cannot

:03:48. > :03:52.afford an expensive smartphone. That is one of the big themes, also

:03:53. > :03:54.wearable technology. We have heard about smart watches before,

:03:55. > :03:57.companies have struggled to get people to buy them, so they are

:03:58. > :04:01.pushing them too. A massive mango hunt is going on in

:04:02. > :04:05.Australia after thieves nicked a 10-metre high model of the fruit!

:04:06. > :04:08.The Big Mango tourist attraction was stolen overnight using cranes in

:04:09. > :04:10.Bowen, a town famous for its mangoes. It's one of over 150

:04:11. > :04:16.super-size sculptures across the country. Officials are confident the

:04:17. > :04:23.mango will be found because it's going to be pretty difficult to hide

:04:24. > :04:27.it for long. Well, as you can see, the big Mango has gone missing! It

:04:28. > :04:32.was definitely here yesterday, and when I came to work this morning, I

:04:33. > :04:36.was informed that had gone missing. Sure enough, it is no longer there.

:04:37. > :04:41.We will keep you updated on that one, for sure. Last up, from a big

:04:42. > :04:44.fruit to an even bigger explosion. This American football stadium in

:04:45. > :04:47.Minneapolis had its concrete ring beam brought down in a controlled

:04:48. > :04:52.explosion yesterday. The Metrodome was voted America's worst stadium by

:04:53. > :04:55.a magazine in 2012. It's being demolished to make way for a

:04:56. > :04:56.brand-new venue. That's all from me, Newsround's back at 6:50, see you

:04:57. > :04:59.then.
