:00:34. > :00:38.Now it's been decided that it can go ahead in one North

:00:39. > :00:43.It's being seen as an important decision because it's the first time

:00:44. > :00:46.anyone has said yes to fracking for five years, but some

:00:47. > :00:53.Fracking works by drilling thousands of metres underground.

:00:54. > :00:58.The aim is to reach tiny pockets or cracks in the rocks where gas

:00:59. > :01:04.A mixture of water, sand and chemicals is pumped down.

:01:05. > :01:08.The sand widens these cracks, releasing the gas which flows back

:01:09. > :01:15.The water containing the gas is then taken away in tankers.

:01:16. > :01:19.So, what do the supporters of fracking say?

:01:20. > :01:22.The way the UK gets its energy currently won't carry on forever,

:01:23. > :01:28.Currently, most of our gas comes from other countries and the UK

:01:29. > :01:32.Government says that is too expensive and not secure.

:01:33. > :01:35.It could also provide thousands of new jobs.

:01:36. > :01:38.So, what do people against fracking say?

:01:39. > :01:41.Some people are worried about fracking because they think

:01:42. > :01:45.Countries like France, Germany and parts of

:01:46. > :01:49.Campaigners say chemicals from the fracking could get

:01:50. > :01:54.They also think there will be other environmental problems

:01:55. > :01:58.It is thought two small earthquakes of 1.5 and 2.3 magnitude

:01:59. > :02:01.in the Blackpool area in 2011 were caused by fracking.

:02:02. > :02:07.The companies doing the fracking say they are doing things to make it

:02:08. > :02:10.safe and this has been proven in other parts of the world,

:02:11. > :02:14.but campaigners think the money should be invested in renewable

:02:15. > :02:19.sources of energy, such as wind power, instead.

:02:20. > :02:21.Also today, Britain's number one, Andy Murray,

:02:22. > :02:24.is through to the second round of the French Open after

:02:25. > :02:31.Andy came from two sets down, narrowly avoiding a first

:02:32. > :02:35.Hopefully, the next round is a little easier.

:02:36. > :02:40.Andy faces a wildcard player ranked 164th in the world.

:02:41. > :02:42.Now, how do you feel about tidying up?

:02:45. > :02:50.Two school teachers in London have made a song that's become a hit

:02:51. > :02:58.There is nothing better than playing and making a mess,
