:00:12. > :00:17.Hello, here is what is coming up: Hungry for the truth?

:00:17. > :00:26.We check out a new food labelling system which will make it easier to

:00:26. > :00:36.see what you are eating. And we talk top tablets. Let the

:00:36. > :00:47.

:00:47. > :00:53.Sky fall. And the 007 Jed word, First, it is going to get easier to

:00:53. > :00:58.find out if the food we eat is healthy or not. After 10 years of

:00:58. > :01:05.talking a new food labelling system is finally being introduced. The

:01:05. > :01:08.labels will show how much fat, salt and sugar is in the food. It is

:01:09. > :01:16.hoped it will cut obesity, but the Government says it cannot force

:01:16. > :01:21.food companies to use the labels. Green for go, amber for caution and

:01:21. > :01:27.red.. The traffic light system is a simple way of controlling cars and

:01:27. > :01:32.for some time it has been used to control our diets as well. You have

:01:32. > :01:36.probably seen these symbols on the food packaging at home and you have

:01:36. > :01:40.probably chosen green symbols which are healthiest, but sometimes

:01:40. > :01:44.choosing the right things to eat can be a headache.

:01:44. > :01:52.The Government wants to make it easier for us to watch what we eat.

:01:52. > :01:55.From next summer, one system will be used. The supermarkets and

:01:55. > :02:01.manufacturers have woken up to the fact they have a responsibility to

:02:01. > :02:04.make sure we all live healthier, happier lives. The plans are for a

:02:04. > :02:11.mixture of colour-coding and numbers to give you information on

:02:11. > :02:17.fat, salt, sugar and saturated fats. It is hoped it will make it easier

:02:17. > :02:20.for us to eat healthy foods and cut the levels of obesity. Traffic

:02:20. > :02:27.light Labour link is fantastic because at the point of purchase, a

:02:27. > :02:31.shopper, event a child can look at a glance and compare two products.

:02:31. > :02:36.Health charities are warning as a voluntary system not all

:02:36. > :02:40.manufacturers have to do this. Some Serial and chocolate makers will

:02:40. > :02:45.not be using the system as they feel colour-coding only looks at

:02:45. > :02:53.the negative side of nutrition. But a meeting is taking place tomorrow

:02:53. > :02:56.to come up with a design that everyone is happy with.

:02:56. > :03:02.Alesha Dixon and Pixie Lott are some of the stars helping to launch

:03:02. > :03:08.this year's Poppy Appeal. They are performing in Trafalgar Square

:03:08. > :03:14.later today. 45 million poppies will go on sale on Saturday for

:03:14. > :03:20.Remembrance Sunday on November 11th. The Royal British Legion hopes to

:03:20. > :03:25.raise millions of pounds. It is incredible and everybody should do

:03:25. > :03:29.their part. It is only when you get time to spend with soldiers and

:03:29. > :03:34.hear their stories and what they have sacrificed for us and our

:03:34. > :03:39.country that you feel like you cannot do enough. We are asking

:03:39. > :03:43.sure prisoners be allowed to vote? Today the Prime Minister insisted

:03:43. > :03:48.if you are behind bars you should not be allowed to have your say in

:03:49. > :03:53.elections. At the moment voting is banned if you are in jail, but the

:03:53. > :03:57.European Court has ruled stopping prisoners from voting is illegal.

:03:57. > :04:01.MPs have until the end of next month to decide what to do.

:04:01. > :04:07.In cycling and Bradley Wiggins and might have to work harder to win

:04:07. > :04:12.the Tour de France next year. road for the 2013 race has been

:04:12. > :04:19.revealed. It has got more mountain's the last time including

:04:19. > :04:23.two gruelling 8 1/2 mile climbs. Bradley Wiggins is best at the

:04:23. > :04:29.time-trial stages, but not the climbing stages. Lance Armstrong

:04:29. > :04:36.was banned for life and stripped of his titles after cheating by taking

:04:36. > :04:42.drugs. It is a sport I love and I have always loved. It is a shame

:04:42. > :04:47.that cycling has been dragged through this again, really. I am

:04:47. > :04:53.not ashamed he has been caught because it had to come out at some

:04:53. > :04:57.point. How much help do you really give your mum around the house? One

:04:57. > :05:02.man in Canada is so fed up with her three daughters not helping out she

:05:02. > :05:09.has gone on strike. She has been posting the pictures of the messy

:05:09. > :05:15.house on the Internet. My girls were not keeping up on their choice

:05:15. > :05:19.and their responsibilities. School starts, sports start and I am a

:05:20. > :05:25.working mum. My husband got home and we decided we were going on

:05:25. > :05:35.strike. On the website we are asking you how you would cope if

:05:35. > :05:58.

:05:58. > :06:03.The iPad was launched on 3rd April, 2010. It made computers a lot more

:06:03. > :06:07.portable. Apple led the way in the market, but over the last few

:06:08. > :06:13.months there have been launches from other manufacturers producing

:06:13. > :06:21.even smaller devices. Now Apple are playing catch-up, but will their

:06:21. > :06:26.latest product win the Tablet war? In 2010, Steve Jobs, the founder of

:06:26. > :06:32.Apple said smaller tablets would fail. But a year after he passed

:06:32. > :06:37.away Apple made this announcement. This is the iPad. They have just

:06:37. > :06:42.launched the iPad Mini, which is smaller. It is 7.9 inches and fits

:06:42. > :06:48.quite nicely into your hand. You could say the small tablet market

:06:48. > :06:55.is very big and here is the competition. You have got the next

:06:55. > :06:59.seven, the Kindle Fire and the galaxy tabla by Sampson. Since

:06:59. > :07:04.Steve Jobs died, Apple had realised there is a market already created

:07:04. > :07:10.by other people for smaller tablets, but it is more expensive and there

:07:10. > :07:15.is a lot of competition. A is year, Apple recorded lower than expected

:07:15. > :07:19.profits. They still made billions of pounds, but not as much as they

:07:19. > :07:26.had hoped. They reckon the iPad Mini could give them the boost they

:07:26. > :07:30.need. But Apple's share of the market has fallen and the android

:07:30. > :07:34.devices are performing very well. But with no new gadgets on the

:07:34. > :07:40.horizon the next 12 months could be tricky for one of the most valuable

:07:40. > :07:48.companies in the world. Yesterday we were talking Wasps,

:07:48. > :07:52.but today we are talking about moths. It is a huge moth. This is

:07:52. > :07:58.the giant Atlas moth, one of the biggest in the world with wings of

:07:58. > :08:03.about 30 centimetres. It is usually seen in South East Asia, but this

:08:03. > :08:08.one found its way to a house in Lancashire. He bit late 30 eggs on

:08:08. > :08:15.a windowsill in Ramsbottom and they are now catching into caterpillars.

:08:15. > :08:23.I thought it was a bat at first. It was huge, but when I got nearer I

:08:23. > :08:30.could see all the colours. My dad told me it was an Atlas moth. OK, I

:08:30. > :08:34.have never heard of any of them before. Finally, everyone's

:08:34. > :08:42.favourite twins have been having a go at their own version of the

:08:42. > :08:47.latest Bond theme tune. # Let the Sky fall, when it rumbles... #.
