0:00:06 > 0:00:10Good morning, I'm here with the stories to end your week.

0:00:10 > 0:00:14Here's what's on the show: Are robots going to change your future?

0:00:14 > 0:00:24And measuring all the animals at London Zoo.

0:00:26 > 0:00:29More and more, robots are doing jobs that people used to do.

0:00:29 > 0:00:32While that can be good news when it comes to jobs

0:00:32 > 0:00:35that people don't like, could it mean there aren't enough

0:00:35 > 0:00:36jobs for humans in the future?

0:00:36 > 0:00:38That's what 11-year-old Newsrounder Jasmine

0:00:38 > 0:00:39wanted to investigate.

0:00:39 > 0:00:45Watch this.

0:00:45 > 0:00:47Me and my friends are worried about robots taking over our jobs

0:00:47 > 0:00:49in the future.

0:00:49 > 0:00:53I have come to a robotics lab to see what robots can do.

0:00:53 > 0:00:58How are robots changing the types of job people have?

0:00:58 > 0:01:00We are seeing a lot more robots in jobs that don't

0:01:00 > 0:01:02take complex thinking.

0:01:02 > 0:01:05I went to San Francisco recently and there is a cafe

0:01:05 > 0:01:07where all the coffees are made by robots.

0:01:07 > 0:01:11Do you think changes are a good thing or bad thing?

0:01:11 > 0:01:15We are seeing more robots designed for helping people.

0:01:15 > 0:01:17Going in if there is a natural disaster and

0:01:17 > 0:01:20taking food, taking aid.

0:01:20 > 0:01:22If robots can be used for good, that's great.

0:01:22 > 0:01:25But we are seeing people losing their jobs and that's

0:01:25 > 0:01:27happening quickly.

0:01:27 > 0:01:29In the future it's possible we won't need to drive cars

0:01:29 > 0:01:32because they'll drive themselves.

0:01:32 > 0:01:34What happens to people like taxi or lorry drivers

0:01:34 > 0:01:37who drive for a job?

0:01:37 > 0:01:42A driverless car, you don't really need the driver.

0:01:42 > 0:01:46We need to look carefully at what other jobs we can find

0:01:46 > 0:01:49for these people to make sure that they don't become jobless.

0:01:49 > 0:01:51Would you like to have a go at the simulator?

0:01:51 > 0:01:53Yes.

0:01:53 > 0:01:55It's going by itself.

0:01:55 > 0:01:57It sees the other car from the right.

0:01:57 > 0:01:58It stops.

0:01:58 > 0:01:59It makes sure.

0:01:59 > 0:02:02And we have no accident.

0:02:02 > 0:02:04It's not just driverless cars, all types of jobs

0:02:04 > 0:02:06could be taken over.

0:02:06 > 0:02:10What can I do to prepare for changes?

0:02:10 > 0:02:13We know there are going to be some jobs that you just

0:02:13 > 0:02:14can't have robots doing.

0:02:14 > 0:02:18If you are a nurse, if you are a carer.

0:02:18 > 0:02:20It's very difficult for a robot to really have

0:02:20 > 0:02:23that human interaction.

0:02:23 > 0:02:26Also we need people that are programming the robots,

0:02:26 > 0:02:28hopefully for good things in the future.

0:02:28 > 0:02:38I had a really fun day today.

0:02:38 > 0:02:40I think robots are good because they help people

0:02:40 > 0:02:42with disabilities, but I also think they're bad

0:02:42 > 0:02:44because people lose their jobs.

0:02:44 > 0:02:47People in Texas are getting ready for the arrival of Hurricane Harvey

0:02:47 > 0:02:53which could be the worst storm to hit the US in 12 years.

0:02:53 > 0:02:56The hurricane is expected to arrive tonight and huge amounts of wind

0:02:56 > 0:02:57and rain could bring really bad flooding.

0:02:57 > 0:03:00People living nearby have been stocking up in case

0:03:00 > 0:03:01the shops have to close.

0:03:01 > 0:03:04Here's that panda news I promised.

0:03:04 > 0:03:07The UK's only female giant panda, Tian Tian, could be having a baby.

0:03:07 > 0:03:11Her keepers at Edinburgh Zoo say they don't know exactly

0:03:11 > 0:03:15when the baby cub is due to arrive, but she is being closely watched.

0:03:15 > 0:03:19But don't get too excited just yet, experts have thought Tian Tian

0:03:19 > 0:03:21was pregnant several times before but have had to admit

0:03:21 > 0:03:24they were wrong!

0:03:24 > 0:03:27England's women are getting ready to defend their title at the rugby

0:03:27 > 0:03:29world cup final tomorrow.

0:03:29 > 0:03:32They'll be taking on New Zealand at the match in Belfast.

0:03:57 > 0:04:01I am really excited because I can't wait for England to be

0:04:01 > 0:04:06the champions again.

0:04:06 > 0:04:09Seeing England in the final is good and I can't wait to see

0:04:09 > 0:04:10them play New Zealand.

0:04:10 > 0:04:12So they can win their World Cup.

0:04:12 > 0:04:15They have a chance to be one of the best teams in the world.

0:04:15 > 0:04:18England and New Zealand are both really good teams.

0:04:18 > 0:04:24I think England will win but only by a narrow score.

0:04:24 > 0:04:27England, just try your hardest and we will all be proud of you.
