:00:09. > :00:15.Pandas played to learn survival skills.

:00:16. > :00:21.Plastic power - the new trumpets sounding off in schools.

:00:22. > :00:24.It's been a week since Scotland voted not to become independent

:00:25. > :00:28.The No result has sparked big discussions about how the whole

:00:29. > :00:36.So, Scotland isn't becoming an independent country.

:00:37. > :00:40.But it has been promised more of its own powers.

:00:41. > :00:42.And now there are some politicians who think that things

:00:43. > :00:51.Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland each have their own parliaments or

:00:52. > :00:53.assemblies with their own politicians, who can decide

:00:54. > :00:58.on certain issues for that nation - such as schools and hospitals.

:00:59. > :01:07.All things are decided by Members of the UK Parliament, based in London.

:01:08. > :01:11.That means MPs from Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland can vote

:01:12. > :01:18.But it doesn't work the other way round.

:01:19. > :01:21.The Prime Minister David Cameron, who's from the Conservative Party,

:01:22. > :01:33.English votes for English laws is really just about fairness. At the

:01:34. > :01:38.moment Scotland has its own parliament. And that this saves the

:01:39. > :01:44.rules for schools and hospitals in Scotland. But Scotland also sends

:01:45. > :01:49.Members of Parliament to the United Kingdom Parliament and they help to

:01:50. > :01:51.make all of the rules for schools and hospitals in England also.

:01:52. > :01:53.But the Labour Party - the main opposition party to the

:01:54. > :01:57.Matthew and Sofia, who live in England,

:01:58. > :02:02.She talks about Scotland for the Labour Party.

:02:03. > :02:06.Is the Labour Party going to change the rules so that only England MPs

:02:07. > :02:19.The Labour Party is not going to do that. We have MPs from across

:02:20. > :02:22.Britain and we believe that when we come together in the British

:02:23. > :02:26.Parliament there are big things we do together and we think it is

:02:27. > :02:27.important that all of the people making those decisions are treated

:02:28. > :02:29.equally across Britain. Do you think it's fair that MPs

:02:30. > :02:31.in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland can vote

:02:32. > :02:34.on issues that only affect England, but MPs from England can't vote

:02:35. > :02:47.on those same issues in Scotland, I think it is fair. We are all

:02:48. > :02:53.joined up together. If you try to start on clicking what is Scotland

:02:54. > :02:54.or England or Wales, it is not straightforward.

:02:55. > :02:57.Politicians from all parties are agreed that Scotland will get more

:02:58. > :02:59.powers as a result of the No vote in the referendum.

:03:00. > :03:02.But they are now arguing about what that vote means

:03:03. > :03:07.Kids causing a nuisance and being disruptive in class are stopping

:03:08. > :03:11.other children learning, according to school inspection group Ofsted.

:03:12. > :03:16.Evidence from 3,000 school visits showed pupils potentially lose up

:03:17. > :03:20.to an hour of learning every day because other pupils are messing

:03:21. > :03:29.But some teachers say that's not true.

:03:30. > :03:40.It was have it. Disrespect towards teachers. I think that affected a

:03:41. > :03:42.lot of the learning. I was sick when I first started but I think I am

:03:43. > :03:44.starting to learn and I feel clever. Music lessons are getting brighter

:03:45. > :03:48.and noisier at one school They've swapped traditional brass

:03:49. > :03:50.instruments for these cheaper, The traditional ones are expensive

:03:51. > :04:09.and often too heavy for kids Exciting. Because you get to play a

:04:10. > :04:17.trumpet and learned how to do it. It is really fun. You have to blow for

:04:18. > :04:20.a long time. And when you drop it, make sure it doesn't break.

:04:21. > :04:22.A pair of giant pandas are having to learn
