:00:08. > :00:14.Good afternoon, stay tuned for amazing fossil find, sinking chairs

:00:15. > :00:21.and your say about what is going on at man United. I think David Moyes

:00:22. > :00:27.has been making the club go completely wrong. Let's start with

:00:28. > :00:33.one of the most amazing fossil discoveries of recent years. A

:00:34. > :00:39.graveyard full of whale bones more than 5 million years old found in a

:00:40. > :00:43.desert in South America. For years scientists have wondered why they

:00:44. > :00:47.died and how so many were perfectly preserved. Now they think they have

:00:48. > :00:51.the answer. Cerro Ballena, Spanish for 'Whale Hill', in Chile's Atacama

:00:52. > :00:55.Dessert. This area is well known for its fossils. But the huge discovery

:00:56. > :00:58.of 2011 was on another level. Scientists were left baffled after

:00:59. > :01:01.uncovering skeletons of over 40 whales, as well as other animals,

:01:02. > :01:05.dating back more than five million years. Now experts think they've

:01:06. > :01:10.worked out such a large number of the mammals ended up in the same

:01:11. > :01:15.spot. They think it was caused by whales getting stranded on four

:01:16. > :01:18.separate occasions. The evidence suggests they died at sea after

:01:19. > :01:21.swallowing toxic algae - a group of tiny plant-like creatures. The dead

:01:22. > :01:29.mammals were then washed towards the coast, where they became buried by

:01:30. > :01:34.sand and preserved over time. This is one of the best find we have had

:01:35. > :01:39.for a long time. We have young animals and old animals and

:01:40. > :01:42.everything in between. This is a cross-section of the population of

:01:43. > :01:47.animals and it is a rare opportunity to examine the way the population

:01:48. > :01:50.may have looked. Researchers scanned the bones with the latest 3D

:01:51. > :01:55.technology, which means they can print them in plastic to study them

:01:56. > :02:00.further. It should help us learn new things about whales and other

:02:01. > :02:05.species on Earth. Seal pups that were orphaned after a tidal surge

:02:06. > :02:09.hit the east coast in December have been released back into the wild.

:02:10. > :02:15.They were brought to the wildlife Hospital in Norfolk. Three months

:02:16. > :02:20.on, eight seals deemed strong enough to survive have gone back into the

:02:21. > :02:26.North Sea. Now to the question that has got loads of you talking to day.

:02:27. > :02:32.What is going on at Manchester United? Last night they lost 2-0 to

:02:33. > :02:39.the worst team left in the Champions League. Ricky has been investigating

:02:40. > :02:42.the mystery of what has happened. For the last 20 odd years Manchester

:02:43. > :02:51.United have dominated English football. They have won 13 Premier

:02:52. > :02:56.league titles, five FA Cup 's, automatically cups and two Champions

:02:57. > :03:02.League trophies. Last season they won the title by a whopping 11 point

:03:03. > :03:08.margin. But fast forward less than 12 months and contrast is extreme.

:03:09. > :03:14.They are currently sixth in the Premier league, out of the FA Cup,

:03:15. > :03:20.out of the Capital One cup and are on the verge of exiting the

:03:21. > :03:24.Champions League. After 27 years last year former boss Sir Alex

:03:25. > :03:30.Ferguson retired and David Moyes took over. I am disappointed we have

:03:31. > :03:39.not won more games. We did not get it on the day. So I need more

:03:40. > :03:43.evidence, more experts to help me. I am here with my friends to talk

:03:44. > :03:50.about the subject of Manchester United. What has gone wrong? David

:03:51. > :03:56.Moyes has made the club go wrong. Ever since he has become manager we

:03:57. > :04:00.have been losing every game. I do not think it is him, I think the

:04:01. > :04:10.players are not putting effort into the game. Over to some more

:04:11. > :04:15.supporters. He needs new players. Some say it is the manager, others

:04:16. > :04:19.say it is the players or the tactics, but why they're bad form

:04:20. > :04:25.continues and the reasons for their rapid fall from grace remains a

:04:26. > :04:39.mystery. You have been having your say on this.

:04:40. > :04:47.You can tell us what you think about this on the website and you can see

:04:48. > :04:52.my favourite story of the day again. The BBC reporter who disappeared

:04:53. > :04:59.from view live on telly. It has had more than 1 million hits online. You

:05:00. > :05:02.can find out what caused it if you head over to the website. Goodbye.
