:00:00. > :00:07.Hi, guys, Leah here with speeding sports cars, super seal pups and

:00:08. > :00:17.what's up with Man United and Moyes, all coming up on Newsround.

:00:18. > :00:21.But first to the mystery of what scientists say is one of the most

:00:22. > :00:24.amazing fossil discoveries ever - a graveyard full of five million year

:00:25. > :00:28.old whale bones was found in a desert in South America in 2011 but

:00:29. > :00:31.no one could figure out how they got there - until now. Here's Ayshah

:00:32. > :00:35.with more. Cerro Ballena, Spanish for Whale

:00:36. > :00:39.Hill, in Chile's Atacama Desert. This area is well known for its

:00:40. > :00:43.fossils. But the huge discovery of 2011 was on another level.

:00:44. > :00:46.Scientists were left baffled after uncovering skeletons of over 40

:00:47. > :00:51.whales, as well as other animals, dating back more than five million

:00:52. > :00:55.years. Now experts think they've worked out why such a large number

:00:56. > :00:59.of the mammals ended up in the same spot. They think it was caused by

:01:00. > :01:04.whales getting stranded on four separate occasions. The evidence

:01:05. > :01:07.suggests they died at sea after swallowing toxic algae - a group of

:01:08. > :01:11.tiny plant-like creatures. The dead mammals were then washed towards the

:01:12. > :01:20.coast, where they became buried by sand and preserved over time. This

:01:21. > :01:27.really is one of the best finds for a long time. We have young and old

:01:28. > :01:31.animals in the sample. It is a cross-section of a single population

:01:32. > :01:34.and it is a fabulous opportunity to examine how that population might

:01:35. > :01:37.have looked. Researchers scanned the bones with the latest 3D technology,

:01:38. > :01:40.which means they can print them in plastic to study them further. It

:01:41. > :01:42.should help us learn new things about whales and other species on

:01:43. > :01:46.Earth. Back in the UK, seal pups orphaned

:01:47. > :01:49.after extreme weather on the east coast of England have been released

:01:50. > :01:53.back into the wild. 100 pups were brought to the wildlife hospital in

:01:54. > :01:56.Norfolk after a major rescue mission in December. And today eight of them

:01:57. > :02:01.were sent back out into the North Sea.

:02:02. > :02:04.Next to the question of what is going on at Manchester United? Last

:02:05. > :02:08.night their bad season got worse when they lost 2-0 to the worst team

:02:09. > :02:12.left in the Champions League. It's another disappointment for a side

:02:13. > :02:22.used to success and some of you told Ricky who you think's to blame. I

:02:23. > :02:28.think it is David Moyes. He thinks is -- I think the club is going

:02:29. > :02:32.wrong. I think it is the players not

:02:33. > :02:36.putting enough ever done. I think it is David Moyes.

:02:37. > :02:38.And you can see loads more of your comments on this on the Newsround

:02:39. > :02:42.website. And that's also where you can check

:02:43. > :02:45.this out - the record breaking Venom GT. The makers reckon it's broken

:02:46. > :02:53.the land speed record for a sports car after clocking 270 miles per

:02:54. > :02:56.hour on a runway in Florida. It needs to do two lengths of the

:02:57. > :02:59.runway but that was not passable. But I'll leave you with the clip

:03:00. > :03:00.that's kept us laughing all
