:00:00. > :00:10.It's Saturday, you are live with CBBC, and you're not going to want

:00:11. > :00:16.to miss all this. The flying band hoping to be the next big thing.

:00:17. > :00:23.And the deer that was born the size of a hamster!

:00:24. > :00:25.First to some breaking news that will please football fans in

:00:26. > :00:31.England. Wembley Stadium is in with a 50/50 chance of hosting the final

:00:32. > :00:35.of the 2020 European Championships. UEFA have just announced that the

:00:36. > :00:39.semi finals and final will be held at either Wembley or Bayern Munich's

:00:40. > :00:43.Allianz Arena. Stadiums in Wales, Scotland and Ireland are still in

:00:44. > :00:47.the running to host other games during the competition.

:00:48. > :00:51.For 20 years he's dazzled the Old Trafford crowd with his crazy runs

:00:52. > :00:56.and silky skills, but today Ryan Giggs will take charge of his first

:00:57. > :00:59.Manchester United game, as manager. The Welsh winger took over the reins

:01:00. > :01:08.after David Moyes was sacked last week, but has he got what it takes

:01:09. > :01:12.to be boss? Ryan Giggs, one of the most

:01:13. > :01:16.celebrated players in football history. He made his professional

:01:17. > :01:21.debutant Manchester United in 1991 and since then he has racked up more

:01:22. > :01:27.than 1000 appearances at club record. He is the only player to

:01:28. > :01:32.have played and scored in every three and of the Premier League and

:01:33. > :01:39.has helped Manchester United when a team league titles and two champions

:01:40. > :01:45.Leagues. He has played for Wales at international level and captained

:01:46. > :01:51.Team GB at the London Olympics. Why was he chosen as temporary manager?

:01:52. > :01:54.He knows the club extremely well. He has worked under the previous

:01:55. > :01:59.manager and won a lot of titles that he knows the players and how the

:02:00. > :02:04.club operates. All of those things are going to work in his favour with

:02:05. > :02:08.regards to trying to steady the ship at Manchester United following the

:02:09. > :02:12.sacking of David Moyes. Yesterday he took part in his first press

:02:13. > :02:16.conference and said he was proud to be given the opportunity to coach

:02:17. > :02:20.Manchester United, is there a chance of him staying long-term? I think we

:02:21. > :02:25.will see Ryan Giggs taking on the role in the short term. While he has

:02:26. > :02:28.a lot of experience on the pitch as a player he does not have a lot of

:02:29. > :02:33.experience working as a manager so you would think longer term they

:02:34. > :02:36.will bring another manager in, but he will expect to see Ryan index

:02:37. > :02:42.working alongside the new person, perhaps in a coaching role or assist

:02:43. > :02:46.the manager. If he does not deliver results, the pressure will come on

:02:47. > :02:49.him quickly. And if you want to look back at

:02:50. > :02:53.where it all went wrong for Manchester United this season, then

:02:54. > :02:56.head over to the Newsround website to check out our picture gallery on

:02:57. > :02:59.ten terrible months at Old Trafford. Next to Afghanistan where there's

:03:00. > :03:02.been severe flash flooding in the north and west of the country. At

:03:03. > :03:06.least 80 people have died and hundreds more left stranded after

:03:07. > :03:09.three days of heavy rain. Thousands of homes have been destroyed and

:03:10. > :03:16.rescue helicopters are being sent out to help people trapped on the

:03:17. > :03:19.roofs of their homes. Next, there are thousands of bands

:03:20. > :03:23.trying to make it big, both here in the UK, and in America. Often new

:03:24. > :03:26.acts need something to make themselves stand out. Well, how

:03:27. > :03:30.about a band that can fly? I've been checking out a new and rather

:03:31. > :03:35.unusual group, with their sights set on smashing the charts.

:03:36. > :03:41.They make look a bit different to One Direction, but you can't deny

:03:42. > :03:44.this band can certainly play. This new flying drone pop band has been

:03:45. > :03:49.formed by robotics experts in America, who have been working on

:03:50. > :03:56.the idea for years. They use computers to control the drones

:03:57. > :04:00.which tell them what to do. We are sending commands to the vehicles

:04:01. > :04:04.that 100 times per second so that every hundred of a second it is

:04:05. > :04:07.getting a new command so the timing is very precise. They've even

:04:08. > :04:10.designed new ways to play instruments like this single string

:04:11. > :04:13.guitar. The drones will play for the first time in front of a live

:04:14. > :04:20.audience this weekend in Washington DC. We clicked a button to tell the

:04:21. > :04:25.vehicles to start the shore and that of it. So if the gigs go well, who

:04:26. > :04:30.knows? We may well see these robotic rock stars motoring their way up the

:04:31. > :04:34.charts. Next to a band you probably know a

:04:35. > :04:40.bit more about! Harry, Zayn, Louie, Niall and Liam kicked off their

:04:41. > :04:43.world tour in Colombia yesterday. But it seems they had a little

:04:44. > :04:46.trouble getting to sleep the night before their big gig, because of

:04:47. > :04:49.noisy fans outside their hotel. After some tossing and turning Niall

:04:50. > :04:54.tweeted to ask Directioners to keep down the noise, which they

:04:55. > :05:01.eventually did. Well, at least they weren't "up all night". Get it?

:05:02. > :05:04.Next, it was the last letter to be written on the famous Titanic ship

:05:05. > :05:08.before it sank, and it goes under the hammer at auction later today.

:05:09. > :05:13.It's thought the letter could sell for over ?100,000. It was written by

:05:14. > :05:17.survivors Esther Hart and her daughter Eva just before the ship

:05:18. > :05:26.hit an iceberg and sank back in 1912. Titanic memorabilia is big

:05:27. > :05:30.business. A menu from the day of the disaster was sold for ?76,000, while

:05:31. > :05:34.a violin played as the ship sank went for ?900,000.

:05:35. > :05:38.Next, he may only be the size of a hamster and weigh no more than four

:05:39. > :05:42.bags of crisps, but this tiny guy is in fact a deer. Baby java mouse-deer

:05:43. > :05:48.are one of the smallest hoofed animals in the world and they're

:05:49. > :05:52.very rare. He was born in a zoo in Spain where a programme is being run

:05:53. > :05:55.to breed rare species. Mouse deer grow up to be no bigger than

:05:56. > :05:57.rabbits, but despite their size they're known to be very

:05:58. > :05:59.intelligent. That's your lot, Newsround's back,

:06:00. > :06:01.right here, at 1:55pm.
