:00:00. > :00:00.It's Tuesday, Ayshah here, live this morning,

:00:00. > :00:09.The penguin with a new 3D printed boot.

:00:10. > :00:12.And the UK's tallest mountain under the sea.

:00:13. > :00:24.We're starting with a record breaker.

:00:25. > :00:27.An aircraft powered entirely by the sun has finished its epic

:00:28. > :00:33.Solar Impulse 2 touched down in Abu Dhabi in the early

:00:34. > :00:38.The journey involved 17 separate stages around the world.

:00:39. > :00:44.The final flight from Cairo in Egypt took more than 48 hours.

:00:45. > :00:46.Well, BBC science correspondent Jonathan Amos has been

:00:47. > :00:52.following the journey and is here with us now.

:00:53. > :00:58.Thank you for joining us. How big a deal is this journey? This is the

:00:59. > :01:03.first time a solar plane has flown all the way around the world, so it

:01:04. > :01:10.is a big deal. The two pilots take turns to fire this plane, the two

:01:11. > :01:14.Swiss gentleman. When they first said they wanted to do this, they

:01:15. > :01:21.went to manufacturers and said, can you build is this plane? They said,

:01:22. > :01:26.we can't. It sounds crazy. They were refused to be put down and spoke to

:01:27. > :01:30.people, developers the technology that can give us a plane to fly

:01:31. > :01:36.through the day and through the night. It gets plenty of sun but it

:01:37. > :01:42.needs to store the energy. The journey wasn't easy, they had some

:01:43. > :01:46.problems. They did this huge journey across the western Pacific Ocean,

:01:47. > :01:50.which took five days and five nights. Imagine being stuck in the

:01:51. > :01:55.cockpit for that time, you can't get out and go for a walk. When they did

:01:56. > :02:02.it, they damage their batteries so had to stay in Hawaii the ten months

:02:03. > :02:07.to fix it. Finally, people will be wondering, will we be flying in a

:02:08. > :02:11.solar plane any time soon? Can I go to Barcelona for my holidays on it?

:02:12. > :02:20.You can only fit one person in it. We may see some small planes in the

:02:21. > :02:25.future with a few passengers, but you will still be going in a jet on

:02:26. > :02:29.your holiday. Thank you for joining us.

:02:30. > :02:31.Next, scientists exploring the UK's tallest mountain aren't

:02:32. > :02:33.packing their hiking gear and walking boots, they're

:02:34. > :02:37.That's because the biggest mountain is hundreds of metres underwater off

:02:38. > :02:42.It's called the Hebrides Terrace Seamount, and is 1700 metres tall.

:02:43. > :02:45.Scientists are using robots to explore the mountain,

:02:46. > :02:48.and find out more about the wildlife that live around it.

:02:49. > :02:53.They've found samples of coral which could be thousands of years

:02:54. > :03:01.old, and say it could be a hot spot for marine life.

:03:02. > :03:08.It is so exciting to do this type of research. We see the sea floor come

:03:09. > :03:13.out, and you don't know what you will find. This is the first time

:03:14. > :03:18.anybody has seen this seamount and the animals, how they live, what

:03:19. > :03:25.they live on, in between, he lives with them, not really exciting. We

:03:26. > :03:28.saw some incredible things. -- that's really exciting.

:03:29. > :03:30.So that got us thinking, where would you like to

:03:31. > :03:34.Maybe a safari or some ancient ruins?

:03:35. > :03:36.Let us know where and why online now.

:03:37. > :03:39.Next up, many children around the world are forced to work -

:03:40. > :03:43.that means they can't do normal things like playing with their

:03:44. > :03:48.This happens to thousands of children in Ghana in West Africa,

:03:49. > :03:55.It's the African country's biggest fishing ground.

:03:56. > :03:59.About 20,000 children are being forced to work on its waters -

:04:00. > :04:02.some of them are sent to work by poor families in the hope

:04:03. > :04:08.But they end up being made to work as fishermen,

:04:09. > :04:10.and treated like slaves - made to work without pay

:04:11. > :04:16.When he was ten, Dampson was taken from his family and made to work

:04:17. > :04:46.Dampson worked in dangerous conditions.

:04:47. > :04:53.Some of the boys he met were injured or died.

:04:54. > :04:56.Dampson was eventually rescued by a charity called

:04:57. > :05:03.He is now living with his dad and is back at school.

:05:04. > :05:25.Dampson is slowly rebuilding his life.

:05:26. > :05:28.If anything in that report has upset, you can go online

:05:29. > :05:36.where we've got a guide to help you with lots of information there.

:05:37. > :05:39.And finally, meet Purps the penguin from Connecticut in the USA.

:05:40. > :05:41.She injured her left foot five years ago.

:05:42. > :05:44.But now, thanks to school kids and experts at an aquarium,

:05:45. > :05:57.they've designed a special boot for her - using a 3D printer.

:05:58. > :06:01.That is all from me, Newsround is back at 4:20pm.
