0:01:03 > 0:01:06Coming out there tonight, I was a bit nervous.

0:01:06 > 0:01:09It has been such an emotional last few days.

0:01:09 > 0:01:12I was like, right, get yourself up for it and do what I do.

0:01:45 > 0:01:48But since the massive fire at Grenfell Tower in London five

0:01:48 > 0:01:51weeks ago there have been concerns about how safe they are in

0:01:51 > 0:01:54the event of a fire.

0:01:54 > 0:02:00Ricky has been to meet Shania who lives in a tower block in London.

0:02:13 > 0:02:14Basically a year.

0:02:24 > 0:02:25Wow, what a view.

0:02:25 > 0:02:26This is incredible.

0:02:26 > 0:02:28What is it like living here and having this view?

0:02:28 > 0:02:29I love it.

0:02:29 > 0:02:31The Shard is there.

0:02:31 > 0:02:34After a long day at school, Shania's home and showing me

0:02:34 > 0:02:36around her flat in South London.

0:02:36 > 0:02:41I'm 14 and I like going out with my friends, irritating my mum,

0:02:41 > 0:02:45I like going swimming, playing rugby and everything.

0:02:45 > 0:02:51I've lived here for a year and I enjoy it.

0:02:51 > 0:02:54I like the view, I like my bedroom, I like the bigger space,

0:02:54 > 0:02:55and it's got a roof garden.

0:02:55 > 0:02:59I prefer it.

0:02:59 > 0:03:01Since last month's fire at Grenfell Tower, people who look

0:03:01 > 0:03:05after other tower blocks around the country have been working

0:03:05 > 0:03:08to make sure buildings are safe in the future and to make sure

0:03:08 > 0:03:10a tragedy like that never happens again.

0:03:10 > 0:03:12What was it like when the fire happened at Grenfell Tower?

0:03:12 > 0:03:14Did you see it?

0:03:14 > 0:03:16Yeah, I could see the smoke.

0:03:16 > 0:03:17You could see the smoke?

0:03:17 > 0:03:19Yeah.

0:03:19 > 0:03:27Shocking.

0:03:27 > 0:03:29One of the big things that has been talked

0:03:29 > 0:03:33about at the Grenfell Tower fire is this stuff.

0:03:33 > 0:03:37It is called cladding and it's wrapped around buildings to try

0:03:37 > 0:03:39and protect it from the weather and also change

0:03:39 > 0:03:40a tower's appearance.

0:03:40 > 0:03:43Some experts have said the type of cladding used could have had

0:03:43 > 0:03:53a part in making the fire at Grenfell Tower much worse.

0:03:53 > 0:03:57The building that Shania lives in has the same type of cladding

0:03:57 > 0:04:00but the company that owns it told Newsround it is going to be

0:04:00 > 0:04:05taken off and replaced.

0:04:05 > 0:04:08They say the fire brigade have checked the building and say

0:04:08 > 0:04:11it is safe to live in right now because of all the other safety

0:04:11 > 0:04:13features, including sprinklers and smoke alarms in every home.

0:04:13 > 0:04:17They told us to test our fire alarms often, and be careful.

0:04:17 > 0:04:21We have been given a lot of advice.

0:04:21 > 0:04:26We've got sprinklers in every room.

0:04:26 > 0:04:28We have been told we are safe and there is nothing

0:04:28 > 0:04:30for us to worry about.

0:04:30 > 0:04:33Shania and her mum have seen and heard a lot about tower blocks

0:04:33 > 0:04:42since the fire at Grenfell Tower.

0:04:42 > 0:04:48Many people living in blocks with cladding want the authorities

0:04:48 > 0:04:51to do more to make them feel safe but Shania and

0:04:51 > 0:04:53her mum say they are happy carrying on living here.

0:04:53 > 0:04:55Thanks, Ricky and Shania, for that report.

0:04:55 > 0:04:57Ok, let's find out what they're doing up

0:04:57 > 0:04:58there on the International Space Station.

0:04:58 > 0:05:01Astronaut Jack Fischer took these shots of the famous natural light

0:05:01 > 0:05:05show, the Aurora Borealis.

0:05:05 > 0:05:08The extraordinary view is from 250 miles above the earth and travelling

0:05:08 > 0:05:18at speeds of more than 27,000 kilometers per hour.

0:05:18 > 0:05:22And just time to show you this herd of wild elephants who took a wander

0:05:22 > 0:05:23through a small village in China.

0:05:23 > 0:05:2513 elephants stopped traffic as they spent half an hour

0:05:25 > 0:05:27enjoying themselves, munching on bananas

0:05:27 > 0:05:30and corn in the village.

0:05:30 > 0:05:34It's not the first time that elephants have invaded the village.

0:05:34 > 0:05:37They're seen as really important by the locals who let them hang out

0:05:37 > 0:05:42until they were ready to move on.

0:05:42 > 0:05:44And if you want to see more amazing animals,
