:00:15. > :00:19.Hi there, Newsrounders. Ricky and Sonali here with your official

:00:19. > :00:22.countdown to the weekend. Yes, we are full of that Friday feeling

:00:22. > :00:27.today. On the way, Tulisa tells us why she's hooking up with Gary

:00:27. > :00:32.Barlow again, and it doesn't involve The X Factor. And, Hayley

:00:32. > :00:35.goes really wild. But first, America is bracing

:00:35. > :00:40.itself for one of the most powerful storms to strike the mainland in

:00:40. > :00:44.three years. Hurricane Irene left a trail of destruction when it passed

:00:44. > :00:48.over the Caribbean. Tomorrow it's expected to reach America's east

:00:48. > :00:54.coast, home to millions of people. And huge waves have already begun

:00:54. > :00:58.washing up on some beaches. This is the damage caused so far by

:00:58. > :01:06.Hurricane Irene. In the Caribbean, some homes were flattened, others

:01:06. > :01:08.completely washed away. The USA is the hurricane's next stop. The

:01:08. > :01:12.storm is expected to hit North Carolina tomorrow before heading

:01:12. > :01:16.north and arriving in New York on Sunday. More than 65 million people

:01:16. > :01:25.live along its predicted path. Hundreds of thousands of families

:01:26. > :01:28.have been told to leave their homes. You are advised to leave the area

:01:28. > :01:31.immediately. People in North Carolina are stocking up with

:01:31. > :01:34.supplies and boarding up their houses. In New York City, the mayor

:01:34. > :01:37.has ordered people living near the coast to move to higher ground.

:01:37. > :01:41.Hurricanes are common at this time of year in America, but if Irene

:01:41. > :01:47.hits, it will be the biggest storm for 20 years. Pictures taken from

:01:47. > :01:49.space show Irene is a massive 700 miles wide. Wind speeds have hit

:01:49. > :01:55.115mph, and officials are also worried the storm will whip up

:01:55. > :01:58.walls of water along the coast called storm surges. Hurricanes

:01:58. > :02:03.change quickly, so it's impossible to tell exactly where this storm

:02:03. > :02:06.will hit and what damage it'll do. But no-one here is taking any

:02:06. > :02:09.chances. Next up, a little Newsround

:02:09. > :02:16.exclusive for you. We have some very exciting news about this

:02:16. > :02:19.year's Children In Need single. We've had an exclusive look behind

:02:19. > :02:23.the scenes. Tulisa and Gary Barlow have teamed up with the likes of

:02:23. > :02:26.Chipmunk and Tinchy to cover an old song called Teardrop. There are so

:02:26. > :02:31.many acts on the charity record that when I asked Tulisa about it,

:02:31. > :02:38.even she was a bit confused! You are recording the main chorus,

:02:38. > :02:46.how many acts of there in total? many, I do not know. The list kept

:02:46. > :02:52.changing every time I was asking them. Two days later, it would

:02:52. > :02:58.change. It was only a couple of days ago, I asked Gary Barlow about

:02:58. > :03:01.Chipmunk. I said, get him on the record! And he is here.

:03:01. > :03:04.Now it probably isn't feeling like a fabulous Friday if you're a

:03:04. > :03:07.Scottish footy fan. No, for the first time in more than 50 years,

:03:07. > :03:10.there are no Scottish sides left in Europe after Celtic, Rangers and

:03:10. > :03:16.Hearts crashed out of Europa League qualifying last night. Celtic may

:03:16. > :03:19.get lucky, though. The side that beat them last night, Swiss side

:03:19. > :03:22.Sion, have been accused of having five players that shouldn't have

:03:22. > :03:24.been on the pitch. If found guilty, Celtic will take Sion's place.

:03:25. > :03:28.We'll know by Tuesday. Four English sides - Stoke, Fulham, Birmingham

:03:28. > :03:31.and Spurs - did make it into the group stages of the Europa League,

:03:31. > :03:37.though. Tottenham are set to play Shamrock Rovers, who made history

:03:37. > :03:40.as the first Irish side to get this far in Europe. If you want to see

:03:40. > :03:44.the rest of the draw, head over to our website.

:03:44. > :03:47.And while we're talking footy, this seems like a good time to tell you

:03:47. > :03:50.about tomorrow's Match Of The Day Kickabout. It's a tale of two

:03:50. > :03:53.cities as we look ahead to Sunday's London versus Manchester match-ups.

:03:53. > :03:58.Paz grabs an exclusive chat with the Little Pea, Man United's Javier

:03:58. > :04:02.Hernandez. We've got this season's most criminal kits. And we

:04:02. > :04:06.celebrate some of the strangest sendings-off you'll ever see.

:04:06. > :04:09.That's tomorrow, 7:40am on the CBBC Channel and again at 11:40am on BBC

:04:09. > :04:13.Two. Last month, we were all getting

:04:13. > :04:17.excited about the London Olympics being just a year away. Now we can

:04:17. > :04:20.get excited about the Paralympics too. That's because Monday marks a

:04:20. > :04:23.year to go until the likes of our very own Ellie Simmonds get to

:04:23. > :04:27.defend their title. Don't forget, Team GB's Paralympic team did

:04:27. > :04:31.seriously well in Beijing four years ago. Ellie got two golds in

:04:31. > :04:34.the pool, and Britain came second overall, with more than 100 medals.

:04:34. > :04:39.There'll be 20 events altogether in London, including athletics,

:04:39. > :04:48.wheelchair tennis, archery, rowing and judo. And tickets go on sale

:04:48. > :04:53.next month, so if you missed out on Olympic ones, here's another chance.

:04:53. > :04:57.Really excited that it is a year to go, because it will go so fast, and

:04:57. > :05:03.it is the biggest event in my career. It will be amazing, but it

:05:03. > :05:07.is also scary, because it will be so soon, and there will be a lot of

:05:07. > :05:10.pressure on us all. Now, if you think you've had a busy

:05:10. > :05:13.summer holiday, I bet it's nothing compared to our Hayley's. She's

:05:13. > :05:16.spent the past six weeks on a highly-important mission to suss

:05:16. > :05:19.out the most exciting, thrilling or downright crazy things you guys

:05:19. > :05:29.have been doing on your break. If you've missed any of her adventures,

:05:29. > :05:34.

:05:34. > :05:40.they're on our website. Here's her I am on the hunt for the craziest

:05:40. > :05:44.summer holidays, and it is starting to get wild. Leo and his mates are

:05:44. > :05:49.spending their holiday on a bush craft survival course in this

:05:49. > :05:55.forest in Oxfordshire, and they are living in the wild. You have been

:05:55. > :06:01.sleeping, eating, everything here. What has it been like? Pretty fun,

:06:01. > :06:06.I have loved it, every single second. We have been sleeping

:06:06. > :06:15.outside, eating outside, we made fires, we made shelters, and we

:06:15. > :06:21.even had a bath in the cold light. -- cold lake. Why did you decide to

:06:21. > :06:26.come in the wild? I really liked the idea of surviving in the wild

:06:26. > :06:32.with hardly anything apart from trees and grass, and maybe some

:06:32. > :06:37.things that you have got in the backpack. Is it fun as well? Yes.

:06:37. > :06:42.First, we need to get in our camouflage and concealment. As

:06:42. > :06:47.usual, that means covering me in lots of paint. Then we have to trek

:06:47. > :06:51.through lots of pretty rough terrain. We have to forage for wild

:06:51. > :06:55.fruit, and we need to build our own shelter for the night. The most

:06:55. > :07:00.important thing it is too light a fire to keep us warm and eat our

:07:00. > :07:05.snacks. You are spending your holiday here in the wild, how is it

:07:05. > :07:10.going? It has been wicked, I have loved every single second. It is a

:07:10. > :07:14.lot better than being stuck in a classroom.

:07:14. > :07:17.My favourite of her adventures is when she went in a plane with a 12-

:07:17. > :07:20.year-old pilot. That's it, outta time. Have a great
