:00:21. > :00:24.The Madagascan pochard lives on a remote island in the Indian Ocean.

:00:25. > :00:28.But with less than 30 now alive in the wild,

:00:29. > :00:32.experts say they need a new home to save them from extinction.

:00:33. > :00:34.Madagascar - home to birds and plants that don't

:00:35. > :00:41.And on this remote lake live the last 25 Madagascan pochards left

:00:42. > :00:47.They're under threat because the areas suitable for them to live

:00:48. > :00:52.Wildlife experts have been monitoring the species and say most

:00:53. > :00:56.new ducklings that are born are starving before they're fully grown.

:00:57. > :00:59.More than nine out of ten chicks don't last past three

:01:00. > :01:02.weeks old because of the lack of food available and a lack

:01:03. > :01:10.Although they're breading very successfully, they're laying a lot

:01:11. > :01:16.of eggs, some of the females are nesting twice in one year, the eggs

:01:17. > :01:20.are hatching - nine out of ten eggs hatch - but once they have hatched

:01:21. > :01:26.Pochards are diving birds and find their food underneath

:01:27. > :01:29.the water, usually at the bottom of lakes and rivers.

:01:30. > :01:32.But there's not much food in this lake and experts think

:01:33. > :01:35.the bottom is deeper down than the birds like to go.

:01:36. > :01:39.Well, two years ago the first pochards hatched in

:01:40. > :01:43.captivity and experts are working hard to save them in the wild.

:01:44. > :01:48.The next step's to find another lake that the pochards could live on.

:01:49. > :01:51.We started with satellite images and maps, identifying all

:01:52. > :01:56.Every single wetland we visited was in terrible condition.

:01:57. > :02:02.The quest for the pochard's new home is still under way, but it's hoped

:02:03. > :02:06.that with a lot of hard work this endangered species could thrive

:02:07. > :02:13.Next up, another England footy legend has decided to call it a day.

:02:14. > :02:15.In the last few hours, Frank Lampard's announced he's

:02:16. > :02:21.The former Chelsea star signed for American team New York City

:02:22. > :02:25.in the summer but is currently on loan at Man City.

:03:33. > :03:49.flyboarding champion. Come on, you going to give it a go?

:03:50. > :03:54.Alright then. If I have to! Flyboarding is a watersport that's

:03:55. > :03:58.becoming more popular. The youngest flyboarding champion is 15 and

:03:59. > :04:02.thousands of people around the world have tried it. It's a sport that

:04:03. > :04:11.really does make you feel like you are flying!

:04:12. > :04:32.That was, like, quite possibly the coolest thing that I have ever, ever

:04:33. > :04:38.done. Amazing! We haven't seen her since!

:04:43. > :04:44.this guy turned up after being lost in the wilderness for six years.
