:00:51. > :00:55.Good morning, happy Monday to you. On today's show we have glowing blue

:00:56. > :01:11.frogs, and find out why these beach-goers are "going" on a beach

:01:12. > :01:14.in Brazil. I'm Leah and you're with Newsround. Today, people in the UK

:01:15. > :01:18.will remember the six million Jews and other people killed by the

:01:19. > :01:21.German Nazi party during the Second World War. Services are taking place

:01:22. > :01:24.all round the country as part of National Holocaust Memorial Day.

:01:25. > :01:29.I've been looking at what it means. In the FA Cup, Chelsea beat Stoke

:01:30. > :01:37.1-0 to win a tie away to Man City in the next round. Families were split

:01:38. > :01:43.up, there was little food. It's estimated nearly seven out of ten

:01:44. > :01:49.Jews from all across Europe died. Today is a mark of respect for all

:01:50. > :01:53.victims of the Holocaust, as well as victims of other killings around the

:01:54. > :02:00.world. It helps teach us about these terrible events and make sure they

:02:01. > :02:04.are not forgotten. But thousands of children did manage to escape

:02:05. > :02:08.Hitler's Nazi Germany and were sent to the UK for safety. They said

:02:09. > :02:12.goodbye to their families and were put on special trains known as

:02:13. > :02:15.Kindertransport. And now two survivors of the Holocaust have come

:02:16. > :02:21.to this school in South Lanarkshire to tell their story. We were taken

:02:22. > :02:29.to the station by our parents and put on a train. But we had somewhere

:02:30. > :02:34.to go to. We came to this country as refugees in 1929. Henry and Ingrid

:02:35. > :02:39.were two of the children lucky enough to escape. You send your

:02:40. > :02:43.child and put it onto a train to a foreign country. You've no idea

:02:44. > :02:48.where the child will end up. It was a traumatic and corrosion did

:02:49. > :02:52.session to take. We were the lucky ones who survived. Unfortunately, I

:02:53. > :02:57.lost quite a lot of relations in the camp. When Henry and Ingrid Witchel

:02:58. > :03:01.drink, they had to leave everything they knew behind because life in

:03:02. > :03:06.Germany for there was too dangerous. They arrived in the UK and settled

:03:07. > :03:10.into life here. And, over 70 years later, they feel their story is an

:03:11. > :03:16.important one for children to hear about. It's really eye opening

:03:17. > :03:21.hearing the story. Quite emotional, when you saw how important this was

:03:22. > :03:24.to them and how important they thought it was to spread the

:03:25. > :03:29.message. It was just interesting to see what really happened and not

:03:30. > :03:34.what the historians say or anything from books. It was real life and

:03:35. > :03:38.real people. Henry and Ingrid think it is important for people to learn

:03:39. > :03:43.about the past, to help stop terrible things like the Holocaust

:03:44. > :03:50.happening again. In the FA Cup, Chelsea beat Stoke to win 1-0. The

:03:51. > :03:54.only goal of the game came from the Brazilian midfielder Oscar, with an

:03:55. > :03:59.incredible free kick in the first half to put Jose Mourinho's side

:04:00. > :04:04.into the last 16. It was also Jose Mourinho's birthday. Head to the

:04:05. > :04:09.Newsround website to find out who's drawn who in the fifth round of the

:04:10. > :04:12.Cup, including a cracker of a match at the Emirates. And there's a

:04:13. > :04:15.picture gallery showing who won what at last night's star-studded Grammy

:04:16. > :04:18.awards in America too. Over in Brazil, people angry over poor

:04:19. > :04:21.sanitation in parts of the country sat on toilets on a beach in the

:04:22. > :04:25.capital Rio Janeiro. Some people marked out shapes of bacteria on the

:04:26. > :04:28.sand as well as sitting on their loos. They're unhappy that nearly

:04:29. > :04:32.70% of Rio's sewage is allowed to flow onto beaches, some of which are

:04:33. > :04:35.set to host several of the 2016 Olympic and Paralympics. Officials

:04:36. > :04:39.say the waterways will be clean in time for the 2016 Olympics in Rio.

:04:40. > :04:42.Now to frogs that glow! Take a look at these amazing pictures.

:04:43. > :04:46.Conservationists at Chester Zoo have come up with a way to keep an eye on

:04:47. > :04:48.critically endangered frogs, by injecting the tiny creatures with

:04:49. > :04:57.harmless strips of fluorescent silicon. The UK team now plans to

:04:58. > :04:59.use the method to try to work out how to conserve
