:00:06. > :00:08.Hi I'm Leah and here's what's coming up on Newsround in the next

:00:08. > :00:13.five minutes. A ban on the controversial chucking

:00:13. > :00:20.of unwanted fish. And, could the Titanic set sail

:00:20. > :00:23.again? But first, all this week on

:00:23. > :00:27.Newsround we've been looking at the legacy of the London 2012

:00:27. > :00:32.Paralympic Games. Today a new report from the charity, Whizz Kids,

:00:32. > :00:35.has outlined some of things they still think need to change. They

:00:35. > :00:37.say two thirds of young disabled people were inspired by the

:00:38. > :00:43.Paralympics, but find there isn't always the opportunity to get

:00:43. > :00:45.involved in sport, especially at school. Disabled kids told the

:00:46. > :00:51.charity they want to see better access to public transport across

:00:51. > :00:54.the country, like more ramps to help get off and on trains. And

:00:54. > :00:58.they want more disabled role models, not just in sport but in media,

:00:58. > :01:03.fashion and advertising. Channel 4 Paralympics reporter, Martin Dougan,

:01:03. > :01:06.has been following this story for us. Today he's with a group taking

:01:06. > :01:16.their suggestions on what they want changed all the way to the top. Hi

:01:16. > :01:23.Martin, where are you? Hi Leah, I'm outside Downing Street, home of the

:01:23. > :01:29.Prime Minister, David Cameron. This afternoon he got a special delivery

:01:29. > :01:32.by double Paralympic medallist Hannah Cockcroft, who was dropping

:01:32. > :01:37.off a report on what they think needs to change to make sure we

:01:37. > :01:41.don't waste all the opportunities generated by the London 2012

:01:41. > :01:45.Paralympic Games. Joel, can I tell us what your experiences were when

:01:45. > :01:50.you were doing sport in school? Compared to what I do outside of

:01:50. > :01:55.school, being inside school could be quite excluding and negative for

:01:55. > :01:59.me. I would either be excluded from the lesson or I would be doing

:01:59. > :02:05.something spirit from the kids. Charlotte, you were talking to MPs

:02:05. > :02:15.along with Hannah today. What did you ask them? Talking about the

:02:15. > :02:16.

:02:16. > :02:23.transport system, making it easier for people to use public transport

:02:23. > :02:27.and making wheelchairs lighter. We are confident that the Paralympic

:02:28. > :02:32.legacy will live on so it will be better for disabled people in

:02:32. > :02:38.future. Leeia, I had a meeting of my own with the Sports Minister

:02:38. > :02:41.today. You can catch that report here on CBBC at 6.50pm.

:02:41. > :02:46.Thank you Martin. Pope Benedict has spoken to tens of

:02:46. > :02:49.thousands of people in St Peter's Square in Rome. It was his last

:02:49. > :02:51.public appearance before he retires as the head of the Catholic Church

:02:51. > :02:53.tomorrow. He travelled through the crowds in his "Pope-mobile"

:02:53. > :03:00.greeting wellwishers before giving his final speech. He's the first

:03:00. > :03:02.Pope to step down from the role for almost 600 years.

:03:02. > :03:07.The controversial dumping of unwanted fish back into the sea is

:03:07. > :03:10.something we've told you about on Newsround before. But in the early

:03:10. > :03:13.hours of this morning, Ministers from the European Union gave their

:03:13. > :03:23.backing to a plan to ban fishermen from chucking away the fish they

:03:23. > :03:24.

:03:24. > :03:28.catch but don't want. Nel has more. Fish caught from the sea and then

:03:28. > :03:32.dumped straight back into it. It's a way of fishing the British

:03:32. > :03:37.Government has scald scandalous but it is how many fishermen in Europe

:03:38. > :03:41.have been doing things for years. Fish are thrown back to sea because

:03:41. > :03:45.fishermen don't want to land them. Perhaps they don't have much value,

:03:45. > :03:49.or they might be too small to land, they are not allowed to land them,

:03:49. > :03:52.so they are thrown away. Often those fish are dead when they are

:03:52. > :03:56.thrown away, so it is a real waste of fish. Ministers from the

:03:56. > :04:04.European Union say they want to change the law, with a ban on

:04:04. > :04:11.dumping unwanted fish being phased in, starting from January. Lit need

:04:11. > :04:18.new nets to ensure fishermen only catch the fish they need, and

:04:18. > :04:22.cameras on board. It is a victory for this celebrity chef. He said a

:04:22. > :04:26.lot more work will need to be done to make sure the ban is enforced.

:04:26. > :04:28.An exact copy of the doomed ship Titanic will set sail in three

:04:28. > :04:31.years. That's the plan of Australian billionaire Clive Palmer,

:04:31. > :04:34.who says Titanic II will look and feel like the original ship, which

:04:34. > :04:38.famously struck an iceberg and sank 100 years ago. When it's built, the

:04:38. > :04:45.ship will set sail across the Atlantic as a tribute to those who
