0:00:32 > 0:00:36In fact, this week's expected to be the coldest we've had this winter,

0:00:36 > 0:00:41with temperatures already dropping to minus 8.9 Celsius in Hampshire.

0:00:43 > 0:00:46Good news if you like building snowmen, but not if you're trying to

0:00:48 > 0:00:51Hundreds of trains and some flights have had to be

0:00:51 > 0:00:54cancelled, and drivers are being told to take extra care on the

0:00:57 > 0:00:59In Kent, a snow emergency has been declared.

0:01:03 > 0:01:07places including north-east England, North Wales, Yorkshire and the

0:01:18 > 0:01:21The snow's on the move, heading to the Midlands and central

0:01:21 > 0:01:22and eastern Scotland.

0:01:22 > 0:01:24By Wednesday, there could be as much as 20

0:01:24 > 0:01:28centimetres of snow on the ground in some parts of Scotland, eastern

0:01:28 > 0:01:31England and Northern Ireland.

0:01:31 > 0:01:33And what's in store for Thursday?

0:03:47 > 0:03:50And it's not just the UK which is being hit by the snow.

0:03:50 > 0:03:52Loads of places in Europe have it, too.

0:04:09 > 0:04:11Gladiators fought there thousands of years ago,

0:04:11 > 0:04:13but now the tourist, and even a little dog,

0:04:13 > 0:04:15are enjoying the snow instead.

0:04:20 > 0:04:21Lake Constance can be pretty chilly in

0:04:21 > 0:04:23winter, but this is something else.
