:00:00. > :00:21.And we find out how Pickles the dog saved the 1966 World Cup.
:00:22. > :00:24.First, England's youngsters staged an incredible comeback to beat
:00:25. > :00:28.World Cup holders Germany 3-2 in Berlin.
:00:29. > :00:31.Roy Hodgson's men were 2-0 down in the second half.
:00:32. > :00:34.Harry Kane started the scoring with a low finish, then
:00:35. > :00:40.it was Jamie Vardy's turn to get his first international goal.
:00:41. > :00:46.Eric Dier finished things off in style with this cheeky header.
:00:47. > :00:48.And it's not just the English football team who are
:00:49. > :00:51.Yesterday, the cricket team took on Sri Lanka
:00:52. > :00:56.in the World Twenty20 Championships in India, and won by just ten runs.
:00:57. > :01:00.They are now through to the semifinals.
:01:01. > :01:03.Newsround is going tech mad this week, and our latest special
:01:04. > :01:05.is all about technology and asking the question -
:01:06. > :01:10.We've been chatting to some top famous vloggers
:01:11. > :01:14.and tech whizzes to find out how they manage their tech time.
:01:15. > :01:26.Here's Marcus from Technobabble to tell us how he does it.
:01:27. > :01:29.The way I get a good balance between screen time
:01:30. > :01:31.and non-screen time is real simple - I set an alarm.
:01:32. > :01:34.We've all got alarms on our devices, so, for example, if I'm sending
:01:35. > :01:37.loads of e-mails, I might pop and alarm up to say,
:01:38. > :01:40."Hey, take a break, get up, go get a glass of water,
:01:41. > :01:49.Well, whilst it is obviously easier to video call
:01:50. > :01:51.my friends that live in Australia or the States,
:01:52. > :01:54.because I'm not going to get a plane over there every time
:01:55. > :01:57.I want to catch up with them, if there are people
:01:58. > :01:59.that are closer, there's nothing better than
:02:00. > :02:02.I definitely know I'm getting their attention and they're
:02:03. > :02:04.not doing other stuff, like, you know, on social media
:02:05. > :02:06.while they're meant to be talking to me.
:02:07. > :02:14.Let's be honest, we are better at tech than Mum and Dad,
:02:15. > :02:18.Why don't we we set a good example and say,
:02:19. > :02:22."Hey, put the tablet down and spend some time face-to-face with me!"
:02:23. > :02:29.No pressure, but it's up to you to set the good example.
:02:30. > :02:32.Next, this cat has survived for eight days after she slipped
:02:33. > :02:35.into a box of DVDs that was then posted.
:02:36. > :02:38.The box was sent from Cornwall in the South West of England
:02:39. > :02:41.to West Sussex, more than 250 miles away.
:02:42. > :02:44.But as Cupcake is microchipped, vets managed to trace her owner
:02:45. > :02:53.The 1966 World Cup is a World Cup England fans won't forget.
:02:54. > :02:58.that if wasn't for a dog, that particular tournament might not
:02:59. > :03:01.have even had a trophy for the winning team.
:03:02. > :03:14.For England football fans, 1966 is a year they will never forget. This is
:03:15. > :03:19.the England captain Bobby Moore, lifting the World Cup after beating
:03:20. > :03:23.West Germany 4-2 in the final. However, this picture could have
:03:24. > :03:33.looked different. If it wasn't for a dog called Pickles. I took my dog,
:03:34. > :03:36.Pickles, out for a walk, and he scooted round the front of the house
:03:37. > :03:42.and went over to the front of my neighbour's car. He was sniffing
:03:43. > :03:45.around. I walked over to put the lead on him and I noticed there was
:03:46. > :03:50.a package on the floor wrapped in newspaper. Out of curiosity, I bent
:03:51. > :03:58.down and picked it up and I talk a bit of the newspaper off and I saw
:03:59. > :04:06.Brazil, West Germany... Being a football fan, or the publicity going
:04:07. > :04:12.on, my heart started thumping. It was the World Cup! So, how did the
:04:13. > :04:16.World Cup and up under the car? It turns out it had been stolen. The
:04:17. > :04:20.man in charge of looking after it decided to go on a lunch break and
:04:21. > :04:24.no one thought it would ever be found. But thank goodness, Pickles
:04:25. > :04:30.was there to save the day. And it made him pretty famous. It is all a
:04:31. > :04:35.bit below the rate for Pickles but for the suddenly world-famous pooch
:04:36. > :04:40.there is more glamour to follow. The finders have been honoured. After
:04:41. > :04:43.England had won, Pickles and David were invited to celebrate with
:04:44. > :04:53.England team. Bobby Moore picked him up. He held him up for the crowd.
:04:54. > :04:58.Really exciting. I think it was exciting for the whole country.
:04:59. > :05:02.Since that famous victory, England haven't managed to get their hands
:05:03. > :05:06.on the World Cup. That is why 1966 is such an important part of
:05:07. > :05:08.sporting history. Just think, it could have been so different if it
:05:09. > :05:11.wasn't for Pickles. A wild giant panda, along
:05:12. > :05:14.with a red panda and two cubs, have been spotted at a nature
:05:15. > :05:17.reserve in south-west China. They were seen on infrared cameras
:05:18. > :05:20.that were installed last year to see what wild animals
:05:21. > :05:23.are roaming the area. Staff at the nature reserve said
:05:24. > :05:26.the giant panda looked well Finally, could there be a new
:05:27. > :05:33.polar bear baby soon in Scotland? Well, keepers at the Highland
:05:34. > :05:35.Wildlife Park are hoping so. In the last week, Victoria
:05:36. > :05:37.and Arktos have been introduced to each other and they seem
:05:38. > :05:41.to be getting on well. Everyone is hoping for the first
:05:42. > :05:49.polar bear baby to be born That's all from me,
:05:50. > :05:55.Newsround is back just after two.
