:00:00. > :00:09.You're live with CBBC, I'm Jenny, coming up in the next six minutes:

:00:10. > :00:13.Thousands gather in Rome as two popes are declared saints. And is

:00:14. > :00:18.Prince George the luckiest baby in Britain? We take a look at some of

:00:19. > :00:25.the toys from his tour. This is Newsround.

:00:26. > :00:28.First, our main story. The Ministry of Defence has confirmed that five

:00:29. > :00:34.British servicemen have died in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan. The

:00:35. > :00:38.families of those killed have been told. The MoD has said the crash

:00:39. > :00:46.appears to have been a "tragic accident" and an investigation is

:00:47. > :00:54.being carried out to find the cause. The war in Afghanistan started back

:00:55. > :00:59.in 2001. During the conflict, 453 British service men and women have

:01:00. > :01:02.lost their lives. But this is the first British helicopter to crash

:01:03. > :01:09.their way people have died. The five person I who died when their Lynx

:01:10. > :01:14.helicopter came down have not been named although their families have

:01:15. > :01:18.been told. The helicopter crashed in Kandahar. The Taliban, supporters of

:01:19. > :01:23.a group of extreme religious leaders, say they shot it down. But

:01:24. > :01:28.the MoD says it appears to be a tragic accident. They have now found

:01:29. > :01:35.the wreckage and that examining it for clues as to what caused the

:01:36. > :01:40.crash. The Lynx helicopter was first used in the 1970s and has a good

:01:41. > :01:46.safety record. In Afghanistan, it is used to transport personnel and

:01:47. > :01:50.special forces. There are still around 5000 British troops serving

:01:51. > :01:54.in Afghanistan. The UK government will take all their troops out of

:01:55. > :01:57.the country a the end of the year. And if you're upset by anything you

:01:58. > :02:01.hear in the news, there's help and advice over on the Newsround

:02:02. > :02:04.website. There's also a guide on the conflict in Afghanistan if you want

:02:05. > :02:07.to find out more. Next, hundreds of thousands of

:02:08. > :02:10.people gathered in Italy's capital city Rome this morning for a

:02:11. > :02:16.historic ceremony where two popes were declared as saints. Pope John

:02:17. > :02:20.Paul II and Pope John XXIII were honoured in an open air mass in

:02:21. > :02:24.Vatican City. Being declared a saint is the highest honour in the

:02:25. > :02:33.Catholic Church, as the BBC's Alan Johnston, who's in Rome explains.

:02:34. > :02:37.We just witnessed a hugely important religious event here at the

:02:38. > :02:41.Vatican. Two former Pogues being made sense. To become a saint, the

:02:42. > :02:46.church is to believe not only the art in heaven, they have to believe

:02:47. > :02:55.you are so important there you can persuade God to deliver miracles. In

:02:56. > :02:58.the case of one of these popes, Pope John Paul II, the church believes

:02:59. > :03:04.two women who were very, very ill pray to him and were miraculously

:03:05. > :03:08.Kuwait. The church believes Pope John Paul II keyword to women

:03:09. > :03:12.miraculously. That qualifies him to be a saint. This is the highest

:03:13. > :03:18.honour the Catholic Church can be still on anyone. For believers all

:03:19. > :03:22.around the world, that is a very important moment. Henderson of

:03:23. > :03:28.thousands of them have come to be here at the moment when Pope John

:03:29. > :03:33.Paul II and Pope XXIII were declared saints of the Catholic Church.

:03:34. > :03:36.Next, for the first time in quite a while Manchester United fans will be

:03:37. > :03:39.able to go into school tomorrow with a smile on their faces. That's

:03:40. > :03:42.because the Red Devils thrashed Norwich 4-0 in Ryan Giggs's first

:03:43. > :03:46.game as temporary boss. Two goals a-piece from Wayne Rooney and Juan

:03:47. > :03:54.Matter sealed the win, and the Spaniard was singled out for praise

:03:55. > :03:59.by the new manager. He was tremendous for the half-hour

:04:00. > :04:05.he was on. It was tough to leave a player like that out and he reacted

:04:06. > :04:08.in the way I expected as a professional. He didn't sulk, he

:04:09. > :04:11.came on. Meanwhile later today, Chelsea will

:04:12. > :04:14.take on Liverpool in a top of the table clash. A Liverpool victory at

:04:15. > :04:18.Anfield would end the Blues' hopes of winning the Premier League this

:04:19. > :04:22.season, but Chelsea know a win for them would help Manchester City get

:04:23. > :04:34.back on top. So what does Blues boy, Andre Schurrle, want to happen?

:04:35. > :04:42.When we win, you want to win every match. You don't want to look at the

:04:43. > :04:47.adverts. We need to win to be in a position where we can attack the

:04:48. > :04:51.title. We will try everything to win.

:04:52. > :04:55.And if you're getting excited ahead of that huge game at Anfield then

:04:56. > :05:02.you can watch tonnes more top footy videos over on the Match of the Day

:05:03. > :05:06.Kickabout website. Next, a West End musical based on

:05:07. > :05:10.the X Factor is to close early after two months of performances. The show

:05:11. > :05:13.called I Can't Sing pokes fun at the talent show and Simon Cowell. The

:05:14. > :05:17.announcement follows the closures of some other West End shows due to low

:05:18. > :05:20.audience numbers. The musical opened to positive reviews in March.

:05:21. > :05:22.From giant wombats to cuddly kangaroos. Prince George will be

:05:23. > :05:26.returning to Britain with no shortage of toys from his three week

:05:27. > :05:29.tour of Australia and New Zealand. The baby reportedly received more

:05:30. > :05:34.than 2,000 gifts from well wishers, including a surf board and mini

:05:35. > :05:38.speed boat! Many of the toys were donated to local children's

:05:39. > :05:43.hospitals. He didn't seem too bothered about this toy bilby

:05:44. > :05:47.though! That's all from me today. But before

:05:48. > :05:54.I go, head over to the website to check out the water bottle you can

:05:55. > :05:55.eat. Newsround's back at 7.40am tomorrow morning. Bye!
