:00:00. > :00:00.Good morning, Ricky with your Monday Newsround.

:00:07. > :00:21.I'm in Scotland finding out what kids think about the big EU result.

:00:22. > :00:22.And I'm in France where England take on Iceland tonight for a place in

:00:23. > :00:34.the Europe 2016 quarterfinals. First - the prime minister

:00:35. > :00:37.and the country's politicians will today start to work out

:00:38. > :00:40.what to do, after adults voted last week for the UK to leave the club

:00:41. > :00:43.of 28 countries called Martin's been in London looking

:00:44. > :00:58.into one of the big issues. On Friday, we learned the UK decided

:00:59. > :01:02.to vote to leave a club of countries called the European Union. One of

:01:03. > :01:06.the big issues in the build-up to this was immigration, not when

:01:07. > :01:10.people decide to leave one country to live in another, but the people

:01:11. > :01:14.in charge of the Leave campaign say people from EU countries already

:01:15. > :01:18.living here won't be asked to leave, but as I've been finding out, people

:01:19. > :01:25.are worried about what the disease and mean to them. I spoke to some

:01:26. > :01:32.kids whose parents are from EU countries -- the decisions mean to

:01:33. > :01:40.them. My mum is from Ireland. My mum is Dutch, my dad is Australian, and

:01:41. > :01:45.I was born in America. My name is Serena and I live in the UK. My mum

:01:46. > :01:51.is from Spain, my dad is from Ireland. How did you feel when you

:01:52. > :02:01.hear the news the UK were leaving? I was quite sad. I started crying a

:02:02. > :02:10.bitter. I was really sad we left. We won't be part of the European union.

:02:11. > :02:16.It is not being part of a family. I feel slightly less welcomed because

:02:17. > :02:24.I'm not part of UK, because the UK is not part of the EU. I wasn't born

:02:25. > :02:28.here, I just live here. It will affect us a lot in the future, if

:02:29. > :02:33.you want to work in different countries. I chose to live here

:02:34. > :02:38.since 1991. I really love this country. I want to be able to travel

:02:39. > :02:42.between what used to be my home country and here, and they want you

:02:43. > :02:49.to be able to do so. How will this affect me? I don't know yet, I don't

:02:50. > :02:53.think anybody knows. I want to think I'm still welcomed in this country,

:02:54. > :03:00.I will be able to stay. My main worry is for you. I am married to a

:03:01. > :03:03.British person, I carry a British passport, so I'm fine. I'm worried

:03:04. > :03:07.about you and your future and the future of this country we live in

:03:08. > :03:13.and love. Some people are worried about what going to happen in the

:03:14. > :03:17.future, but it also to important to save people are happy with the

:03:18. > :03:21.result because they think it means a better future for children living in

:03:22. > :03:25.the UK. The people in charge of the Leave campaign say no matter what

:03:26. > :03:27.happens, people from EU countries will be able to live here in the

:03:28. > :03:28.future. And the result of the referendum

:03:29. > :03:43.is big news in Scotland as well. Morning, Ricky. We are in Scotland

:03:44. > :03:51.this morning. It is big news, because the Hall of the UK -- whole

:03:52. > :03:54.of the UK voted to leave, but Scotland voted to leave. Should

:03:55. > :03:59.Scotland become an independent country? Could become separate to

:04:00. > :04:04.the UK? Joining me here are a couple of kids from the local school. What

:04:05. > :04:08.do you think? We should become independent because it will be

:04:09. > :04:13.better for the future and give us more money. What did you think?

:04:14. > :04:17.Should there be an independent Scotland? I don't think so, because

:04:18. > :04:23.if we become independent and try to rejoin the EU, they could say no and

:04:24. > :04:28.we could be left on our own. What did you think of that result? I

:04:29. > :04:34.think we should have stayed in because there was a lot of promises

:04:35. > :04:39.made it we left the U, which we did come and they don't think we will

:04:40. > :04:45.need all those promises. What did you think? We should have stayed in

:04:46. > :04:50.because if we didn't, if we did, we could have money. It will hit a

:04:51. > :04:54.financial crisis we can have something to fall back on. Very good

:04:55. > :04:56.point made. That's it from me, back to you, Ricky.

:04:57. > :05:00.Now we're well into the knockout stages of Euro 2016.

:05:01. > :05:02.Yesterday, host nation France joined Wales, Germany, Poland,

:05:03. > :05:05.Portugal and Belgium in the final eight.

:05:06. > :05:07.Tonight, it's the turn of England - who take on Iceland.

:05:08. > :05:15.Jenny is in south of the France now.

:05:16. > :05:27.I am at NICE. England will battle it out with Iceland for a place in the

:05:28. > :05:32.quarterfinals. It is a must win game, love not performed so good so

:05:33. > :05:36.far. They finished second and will be eager to put in a good

:05:37. > :05:39.performance tonight. Their opponents, Iceland, the smallest

:05:40. > :05:44.nation by population to ever qualify for the Euros, but it does not mean

:05:45. > :05:50.it will be an easy game. They will be a tough side break down, and they

:05:51. > :05:54.have a star player from Swansea. A quick start, it'll be the third

:05:55. > :05:59.meeting between the two nations in their history. England have never

:06:00. > :06:04.lost, the last game they played was in 2004, England 186-0 comments at

:06:05. > :06:14.the pressure is on. It Iceland win, it should be one of the upsets --

:06:15. > :06:24.England one 6-0. The question is, can they live up to expectations?

:06:25. > :06:26.Head to the Newsround website. We have a special section with all you

:06:27. > :06:28.need to know about the EU referendum.

:06:29. > :06:34.That's all from me, Newsround's back on CBBC this afternoon with Leah.
