:00:13. > :00:18.First up this guy, Adam Peaty is shaking up the swimming world

:00:19. > :00:23.And he won gold in the World Championships

:00:24. > :00:27.He keeps breaking so many records we can hardly keep up.

:00:28. > :00:33.Here's what you need to know about him.

:00:34. > :00:40.Superstar swimmer, record breaker and hip-hop music fan. I'll tell you

:00:41. > :00:47.more later! Adam Peaty! He broke his own world record in the swimming

:00:48. > :00:56.pool. Not once. World record to Peaty in the heats. But twice. 2610

:00:57. > :01:02.is the world record... Being the first swimmer in the world

:01:03. > :01:07.to go under 26 seconds in 50 metres. There is not many things you can do

:01:08. > :01:12.in 26 seconds, maybe take a selfie, text your mum or watch a tiny bit of

:01:13. > :01:17.Newsround. Think about it, by the time you've done that, Peaty's

:01:18. > :01:22.already stormed and is probably chilling at the other side waiting

:01:23. > :01:29.for the others to catch up. That's why we are giving him the nickname

:01:30. > :01:32.super peat! Here are three other cool facts about him. He listens to

:01:33. > :01:41.hip-hop and grime before he go force a race. He gets up at 4am to work

:01:42. > :01:46.out! And he used to be scared of sitting down in the bath! Seriously,

:01:47. > :01:51.his mum said he didn't like water. But look at him now! A world record

:01:52. > :01:57.holding hip-hop and grime listening swimming machine. You go, Adam!

:01:58. > :01:59.Next, Outer space might be closer than we thought!

:02:00. > :02:02.Everything in the universe is made up of tiny little

:02:03. > :02:08.Now, scientists in America say that up to half of the atoms in the Sun,

:02:09. > :02:10.Earth, and even our bodies were previously part

:02:11. > :02:14.They were blown here by powerful 'galactic winds'.

:02:15. > :02:20.Recently, the numbers of these tiny mammals have dropped.

:02:21. > :02:29.Whitney went to meet the people on a mission to help them.

:02:30. > :02:36.The hazel dormouse weighs between 18-20 grammes, fruits, flowers, nuts

:02:37. > :02:40.and insects are what they like to eat and woodland in parts of England

:02:41. > :02:44.and Wales is where they live. I've come to these woods in

:02:45. > :02:48.Nottinghamshire where nest boxes have been put up to help keep

:02:49. > :02:54.dormice safe and it's Ian's job to help monitor them.

:02:55. > :03:02.Any there? No, none there. I'll put it back on and move on to the next

:03:03. > :03:07.one. Looks like we've got a dormouse in there in a deep sleep. We'll take

:03:08. > :03:11.that off and have a look and see what that is. That's what we do as

:03:12. > :03:21.part of the national monitoring programme. So anything we find, we

:03:22. > :03:26.check them. They go into a large bag to make sure if they're active, they

:03:27. > :03:36.can't escape. They're very fast and very good climbers. Is it sleeping

:03:37. > :03:42.right now? It's in a deep sleep because it's been raining and cold

:03:43. > :03:46.up here. Oh, my gosh. So cute. We have marked some of these animals

:03:47. > :03:50.with a small chip and we are just looking to see if this one's got one

:03:51. > :03:55.in. I don't think it has. So we'll put him in a Spall bag to weigh him.

:03:56. > :04:01.Plenty of air in there for the amount of time this dormouse is

:04:02. > :04:06.going to be in there. Hold that up. 19 and a half. How often do you

:04:07. > :04:11.weigh them? We check boxes once a month. Why are they on the decline?

:04:12. > :04:16.Because we don't manage our woodlands particularly well. We used

:04:17. > :04:21.to cut them to take timber out and firewood and we don't do that any

:04:22. > :04:26.more. A lot of the woodland is becoming shaded and the areas where

:04:27. > :04:32.they used to live is not frequently found in woodland any more. So now

:04:33. > :04:39.he's back inside the box so we just block that hole again with a bung so

:04:40. > :04:44.he can't escape. And we take this box and put it back on the tree

:04:45. > :04:49.where we found it and now we know he's back safely in his box where

:04:50. > :05:03.he'll probably stay for the rest of the day.

:05:04. > :05:07.My favourite TV show is The Dumping Ground
