:03:07. > :03:12.More and more, robots are doing jobs that people used to do.

:03:13. > :03:15.While that can be good news when it comes to jobs

:03:16. > :03:18.that people don't like, could it mean there aren't enough

:03:23. > :03:31.Me and my friends are worried about robots taking over

:03:32. > :03:35.so I've come to Bristol Robotics lab to see what robots can do.

:03:36. > :03:37.How are robots changing the types of job people have?

:03:38. > :03:41.So we're seeing a lot more robots in jobs that don't

:03:42. > :03:46.Like, I went to San Francisco recently and there's a cafe there,

:03:47. > :03:47.where all the coffees are made by robots.

:03:48. > :03:50.Do you think the changes are good thing or a bad thing?

:03:51. > :03:56.We're seeing more and more robots designed for helping people,

:03:57. > :04:00.so going in if there's a natural disaster and

:04:01. > :04:07.If robots can be used for good, that's great.

:04:08. > :04:09.But we are seeing people losing their jobs and that's

:04:10. > :04:12.In the future, we possibly won't need to drive cars,

:04:13. > :04:16.What happens to people like taxi or lorry drivers

:04:17. > :04:22.If you have a driverless car, you don't really need the driver.

:04:23. > :04:25.So we really need to look very carefully at what other jobs we can

:04:26. > :04:28.find for these people, to make sure that they

:04:29. > :04:34.Would you like to have a go in the simulator?

:04:35. > :04:40.It sees the other car coming from the right,

:04:41. > :04:44.it stops, it makes sure that we have no accident.

:04:45. > :04:48.All types of jobs could be taken over by robots.

:04:49. > :04:52.What can I do to prepare for the changes in the future?

:04:53. > :04:55.I think we know that there are going to be some jobs that

:04:56. > :05:00.If you're a nurse, if you're a carer, it's very, very difficult

:05:01. > :05:05.for a robot to really have that human interaction and also,

:05:06. > :05:10.we need people that are programming the robots, hopefully for good

:05:11. > :05:15.I think robots are good, because they help people

:05:16. > :05:18.with disabilities and I also think they're bad, because

:05:19. > :05:23.Staying with robots - and check out the view

:05:24. > :05:27.They're competing to be the fastest around this obstacle course
