:00:37. > :00:40.But his supporters say he's made the right decision

:00:41. > :00:49.Donald Trump was sworn in as the 45th US President last

:00:50. > :00:52.Friday and after his first week in office says he's stopping

:00:53. > :00:59.refugees from Syria from coming to America until further notice.

:01:00. > :01:02.He's also signed an order to stop people from six other

:01:03. > :01:07.mainly Muslim countries, including Iran and Iraq

:01:08. > :01:09.in the Middle East and Somalia and Sudan in Africa,

:01:10. > :01:11.being given permission to travel to America

:01:12. > :01:25.The President made immigration a big issue in his election.

:01:26. > :01:30.The things he has said about migrants and refugees

:01:31. > :01:32.have made him popular with his supporters.

:01:33. > :01:35.He says the decision he has just made will help keep terrorists out

:01:36. > :01:42.We want to make sure that we are not admitting into our country the very

:01:43. > :01:43.threats our soldiers are fighting overseas.

:01:44. > :01:45.We only want to admit those into our country

:01:46. > :01:50.who will support our country and love deeply our people.

:01:51. > :01:53.But other people say banning all refugees from Syria

:01:54. > :01:55.is not the right decision, and that it will punish

:01:56. > :02:04.people who have nothing to do with terrorism.

:02:05. > :02:11.She is the citizens and the innocent people of Syria that were affected

:02:12. > :02:16.by the war with the terrorist group. Female rights campaigner

:02:17. > :02:18.Malala Yousafzai says she's She says Trump shouldn't

:02:22. > :02:23.children and families'. And the order has angered many human

:02:24. > :02:26.rights organisations too who say Trump is closing the door

:03:27. > :03:30.because, like, obviously I am Chinese and my parents are from

:03:31. > :03:35.China, so it is always important to remember our culture. So, when it

:03:36. > :03:40.comes to the New Year, there is a lot of food and they are all

:03:41. > :03:45.delicious! Are family come to my house and then, and friends, we have

:03:46. > :03:52.dinner together and we play with each other. I also like Chinese New

:03:53. > :03:57.Year because it is a time for me to get together with all my friends.

:03:58. > :04:01.Chinese New Year. For lots of people from places like America and many

:04:02. > :04:05.Asian countries get together with your friends and loved ones.

:04:06. > :04:09.Traditionally in the UK, New Year's Day balsam the 1st of January every

:04:10. > :04:13.year. However, Chinese New Year is based on the ancient lunar calendar,

:04:14. > :04:17.which is a little different. This means the date changes every year.

:04:18. > :04:24.The Chinese calendar also celebrates a different animal each year. There

:04:25. > :04:28.are 12 in total, and this year it is all about the rooster. There are

:04:29. > :04:32.celebrations going on all over the country, and these guys are part of

:04:33. > :04:40.a big parade in Manchester. We are going to dance the chicken dance. We

:04:41. > :04:46.will be doing Chinese martial arts. I will be doing it with the rest of

:04:47. > :04:50.my martial arts club. That's not all. Chinatown in Manchester will be

:04:51. > :04:52.filled with even more dancers and performers, including the

:04:53. > :04:59.15-year-old gymnast, who has come all the way from China to take part.

:05:00. > :05:03.I love around Chinese New Year time I get to meet so many new people we

:05:04. > :05:06.do these performances, like I get to spend time with my friends and

:05:07. > :05:09.family, but more importantly I get to meet all these amazing people and

:05:10. > :05:12.a lot of times we end up becoming really good friends and those

:05:13. > :05:14.friendships last for a lifetime. And if you don't know

:05:15. > :05:17.what chinese animal you are, and want to find out,

:05:18. > :05:19.don't worry we've got My mum just text me and said she is

:05:20. > :05:28.a rooster! Now, zoo staff are helping this rare

:05:29. > :05:31.sea turtle is on its way to recovery after it got a little bit

:05:32. > :05:34.lost last year. The turtle, called Menai,

:05:35. > :05:36.was found washed up on a beach in Wales in November,

:05:37. > :05:38.and was rescued by wildlife Menai is an Olive Ridley turtle,

:05:39. > :05:42.which are usually found in much Vets are giving her lots of checks
