:00:00. > :00:11.Hi, I'm Ricky and this is Newsround. First to our top story and there'll

:00:12. > :00:13.be nobody climbing Mount Everest, the world's highest peak, after

:00:14. > :00:16.local guides known as Sherpas cancelled this year's climbing

:00:17. > :00:21.season. Their decision is in memory of 16 Sherpas who died in an

:00:22. > :00:26.avalanche ten days ago. Next how many of you have an old

:00:27. > :00:30.video game at home that you don't play any more? If so, what have you

:00:31. > :00:34.done with it? Thrown it in the bin? Recycled it? What about burying in

:00:35. > :00:37.the desert? It might sound a bit extreme, but that's what happened to

:00:38. > :00:43.thousands of copies of what's been dubbed the worst game ever made!

:00:44. > :00:48.Nel's been digging in to this one. The gaming industry is thought to be

:00:49. > :00:51.worth around ?40 billion. It's been big business since the 1980s and

:00:52. > :00:59.these were some of the favourite titles back then. But they weren't

:01:00. > :01:03.all hits and this was thought to be one of the worst of all time. ET was

:01:04. > :01:06.a huge blockbuster which came out in 1982 and people wanted to cash in on

:01:07. > :01:11.the film's success. Games developers Atari designed and made the ET video

:01:12. > :01:21.game in just a few weeks at a cost of over 20 million dollars. But it

:01:22. > :01:33.was a massive flop. But how bad was the game. I have got one right here

:01:34. > :01:37.and Gordon is against expert. It is extremely repetitive. You flip back

:01:38. > :01:45.between the same screens and it does not really represent the film. It

:01:46. > :01:49.was reported that up to five million copies of the game were left unsold

:01:50. > :01:53.and Atari employee has said he buried around 700,000 of them to get

:01:54. > :01:56.rid. Now, more than 30 years on, a team of documentary makers have

:01:57. > :01:59.found the site and after a few hours of digging found a huge stash of

:02:00. > :02:03.these rejected games. It's thought there could be hundreds of thousands

:02:04. > :02:10.more copies of the game still buried in the New Mexico dessert. It's a

:02:11. > :02:18.pretty unusual way to get rid of a something you don't want- although I

:02:19. > :02:21.rather like it. Next, how big is your biggest ever

:02:22. > :02:25.sporting defeat? We've been asking you on the Newsround website today

:02:26. > :02:28.after a cricket team in Cheshire only scored three runs between them

:02:29. > :02:32.at the weekend. Alex from North Yorkshire got in touch. He said, "My

:02:33. > :02:36.hockey team lost 9-nil, we were only 1-0 down at half time but in the

:02:37. > :02:40.second half two of their goals were one hundred percent my fault." And

:02:41. > :02:43.finally the hunt is on to find 21 wild boars which escaped from a

:02:44. > :02:47.Welsh farm, after burglars let them loose yesterday. Anyone who sees the

:02:48. > :02:54.boars is advised not approach them, but to call 101, so they can be

:02:55. > :02:57.returned home. That's all from me, Ayshah's back

:02:58. > :03:00.here tomorrow morning at 07:40am.
