:00:27. > :00:28.Nearly 50,000 Directioners are at the Stadium of Light

:00:33. > :00:35.1D fan Niamh was lucky enough to get tickets for the gig.

:00:36. > :00:39.Well, I got them on my birthday last year.

:00:40. > :00:42.I was really excited, and I screamed my head off when I

:00:43. > :00:45.got them, because I've always wanted to see One Direction live.

:00:46. > :00:49.Well, the Royal Horticultural Society wants

:00:50. > :00:53.It believes that it can help kids develop important skills outside

:00:54. > :01:11.When it comes to the world of gardening, no-one does it better

:01:12. > :01:14.or is more famous for it than the Chelsea Flower Show here in London.

:01:15. > :01:18.Thousands of people flock here every year to see the gorgeous greenery.

:01:19. > :01:21.And the people behind it, the Royal Horticultural Society, believe that

:01:22. > :01:26.gardening can teach kids a whole lot more than just planting a few bulbs.

:01:27. > :01:30.Nowadays, fewer kids have access to green spaces, but one school

:01:31. > :01:34.has taken the green-finger challenge to the next level.

:01:35. > :01:37.These kids in east London have built a green oasis amongst

:01:38. > :01:42.I found it really fun when I started gardening, because I like

:01:43. > :01:48.the feel of the soil and looking at all the little seedlings germinate.

:01:49. > :01:52.Sometimes I like gardening even more than playing in the playground.

:01:53. > :01:55.But can gardening really help you learn skills for school?

:01:56. > :01:58.They're learning how to work as a team, they're learning how to

:01:59. > :02:03.We did a maths lesson when we built some new planters,

:02:04. > :02:07.and they had to calculate how much soil went in the planters,

:02:08. > :02:13.Not every school can afford their own potted paradise.

:02:14. > :02:16.But with almost 20,000 schools already involved with

:02:17. > :02:19.the campaign for school gardening, progress has been made,

:02:20. > :02:23.so it's now much more likely that a green-finger project could be

:02:24. > :02:32.Now, for a lot of you on half-term the weather has been
