0:00:06 > 0:00:08Hi, Ricky here live from the Newsround studio

0:00:08 > 0:00:09this Friday afternoon.

0:00:09 > 0:00:13Coming up in the next few minutes...

0:00:13 > 0:00:15The lost teddy bear that found its way home.

0:00:15 > 0:00:18The summer camp with a difference.

0:00:18 > 0:00:28And the spectacular sights in store for us this weekend.

0:00:33 > 0:00:36If you've got a younger brother or sister, then the chances

0:00:36 > 0:00:39are they have one of these - a stuffed toy.

0:00:39 > 0:00:42Well, one boy in Texas, America, lost his at an airport

0:00:42 > 0:00:43and was devastated.

0:00:43 > 0:00:48Little did he know someone was keeping him safe.

0:00:48 > 0:00:50This is the young man.

0:00:50 > 0:00:53Look at that bear.

0:00:53 > 0:00:55This is four-year-old Luke and his teddy bear -

0:00:55 > 0:00:58and his name is Teddy Bear.

0:00:58 > 0:01:00Here they are, reunited at last at an airport

0:01:00 > 0:01:03in Dallas, Texas, in America.

0:01:03 > 0:01:07So, how did Luke and Teddy Bear get separated?

0:01:07 > 0:01:09Luke was on his way home from visiting his

0:01:09 > 0:01:10grandparents in Colorado.

0:01:10 > 0:01:14It seems like Teddy Bear might have fallen from a bench when the family

0:01:14 > 0:01:16were waiting for their car from the airport.

0:01:16 > 0:01:19And that's when he became lost.

0:01:19 > 0:01:21Luke and his family were really upset.

0:01:21 > 0:01:23I mean, he's lost his favourite toy.

0:01:23 > 0:01:25They searched for days.

0:01:25 > 0:01:28And Teddy Bear was missing for a whole week.

0:01:28 > 0:01:31Luke's mum put loads of posts on social media,

0:01:31 > 0:01:35asking if anyone had seen the beloved bear.

0:01:35 > 0:01:38And then the airport got in touch.

0:01:38 > 0:01:41Teddy Bear was found!

0:01:41 > 0:01:45He'd been picked up by an employee and put in a safe place in the staff

0:01:45 > 0:01:47room to wait for his owner.

0:01:47 > 0:01:49While waiting, he went on quite an adventure

0:01:49 > 0:01:52around the airport - lucky thing.

0:01:52 > 0:01:55So, Teddy Bear is back where he belongs at home.

0:01:55 > 0:01:57And hopefully, there will be no more airport adventures -

0:01:57 > 0:02:02without Luke, of course.

0:02:02 > 0:02:05Next, climbing ladders, putting out fire and helping

0:02:05 > 0:02:08to rescue people are just some of the duties of a firefighter.

0:02:08 > 0:02:11But in many countries around the world, more men do

0:02:11 > 0:02:12this job than women.

0:02:12 > 0:02:14In America, one summer camp with a difference

0:02:14 > 0:02:15is aiming to change that.

0:02:15 > 0:02:18Check this out.

0:02:18 > 0:02:21Welcome to Camp Heat.

0:02:21 > 0:02:24Do not let anybody tell you that a woman cannot do this job.

0:02:24 > 0:02:29There are more than 1.1 million firefighters in America,

0:02:29 > 0:02:33but only 7% of these are women.

0:02:33 > 0:02:38That is why Arlington County Fire Department started Camp Heat.

0:02:38 > 0:02:41Little boys play with fire trucks.

0:02:41 > 0:02:46They get introduced to it naturally, but girls just don't.

0:02:46 > 0:02:50So we decided as a group that having a camp for young women would be

0:02:50 > 0:02:53a good idea to expose them to what we do.

0:02:53 > 0:02:58It runs in the summer for teenage girls.

0:02:58 > 0:03:03They learn how to give emergency first aid and use equipment

0:03:03 > 0:03:06such as the jaws of life, which are used to cut into cars

0:03:06 > 0:03:07in rescue operations.

0:03:07 > 0:03:10It's all about technique, it's not about strength.

0:03:10 > 0:03:15We wanted to make sure they got to practise

0:03:15 > 0:03:18with our our real tools, in our real gear, carrying real

0:03:18 > 0:03:21equipment to see that it is totally doable with the right technique

0:03:21 > 0:03:22and right training.

0:03:22 > 0:03:25They taught me how much the hoses weigh, how hard it is,

0:03:25 > 0:03:27how hot these suits are.

0:03:27 > 0:03:30What do the girls think of their training?

0:03:30 > 0:03:34I wanted to prove that women are equally as strong,

0:03:34 > 0:03:36both mentally and physically, as men.

0:03:36 > 0:03:39Knowing you can save someone from a nine-storey building

0:03:39 > 0:03:41and you can save someone who can't help themselves.

0:03:41 > 0:03:45I think that's really rewarding.

0:03:45 > 0:03:47I really want to go out and help save people,

0:03:47 > 0:03:50save people's lives.

0:03:50 > 0:03:52I realised I can do it, she can do it.

0:03:52 > 0:03:53It's nice.

0:03:53 > 0:03:57Next, if you look up into the night sky this weekend,

0:03:57 > 0:04:01you might see some spectacular sights and that's because there's

0:04:01 > 0:04:05going to be not one, not two, but three meteor showers.

0:04:05 > 0:04:07The Perseid meteor shower, which happens every year,

0:04:07 > 0:04:10should be visible over the next few nights and it gives stargazers

0:04:10 > 0:04:12the chance to spot shooting stars.

0:04:12 > 0:04:16It's going to be overlapped by the Delta Aquarids

0:04:16 > 0:04:18and the Alpha Capricornids meteor showers, which are known

0:04:18 > 0:04:22for their bright fireballs in the night skies.

0:04:22 > 0:04:26It is thought they will be at their brightest tonight,

0:04:26 > 0:04:29with as many as ten to 20 shooting stars dashing across the night sky.

0:04:29 > 0:04:31Meteor showers are caused by debris from comets entering Earth's

0:04:31 > 0:04:37atmosphere at high speeds.

0:04:37 > 0:04:40For lots more information on this, head to Newsround online

0:04:40 > 0:04:42for the full guide.

0:04:42 > 0:04:44And while you're there, you'll also find our interview

0:04:44 > 0:04:47with TV superstar JoJo Siwa.

0:04:47 > 0:04:57We asked her your questions - so check out what she had to say.

0:04:57 > 0:04:59That's all from me, Newsround's back over the weekend.

0:04:59 > 0:04:59Have a great weekend.

0:05:04 > 0:05:05Hello, everybody.

0:05:10 > 0:05:13and I love all the bloggers

0:05:13 > 0:05:16and the What You Thinking, Pet? part makes me laugh.
