:00:00. > :00:09.Welcome to your weekend Newsround. I'm Ricky with news of why Man

:00:10. > :00:11.United fans are taking to the skies, plus it's not breaking news - it's

:00:12. > :00:18.breaking tiles. Find out which world record this

:00:19. > :00:28.woman is trying to smash! First up: Russian leader Vladimir

:00:29. > :00:32.Putin has phoned US president Barack Obama to talk about ways to resolve

:00:33. > :00:35.the Ukraine crisis. There's been a lot of unrest in Ukraine between

:00:36. > :00:38.people in the country who support closer ties to Russia and those who

:00:39. > :00:41.don't. Russian forces recently took control of Crimea, in southern

:00:42. > :00:44.Ukraine, something Obama said was illegal. During the call the two

:00:45. > :00:47.leaders discussed the build up of Russian troops on Ukraine's border.

:00:48. > :00:51.Their foreign ministers will meet soon to discuss what to do next.

:00:52. > :00:55.A big change to the law in England and Wales came in overnight - same

:00:56. > :00:58.sex couples are now allowed to get married. Martin has been looking in

:00:59. > :01:01.to the change, which has sparked some strong views.

:01:02. > :01:04.I am now very happy to announce that you are now legally...

:01:05. > :01:08.Just after midnight these people were celebrating getting married. Up

:01:09. > :01:12.until now, two men or two women were not allowed to marry each other -

:01:13. > :01:15.but now the law has changed. But while there were celebrations for

:01:16. > :01:20.those getting married, not everyone is happy with the change. Those

:01:21. > :01:24.against it, including many religious groups, say that marriage has been

:01:25. > :01:27.between a man and a woman for hundreds of years and it shouldn't

:01:28. > :01:30.be altered. Up until today same-sex couples could only have a civil

:01:31. > :01:33.partnership, which gives similar rights but isn't exactly the same

:01:34. > :01:36.rights as marriage. Despite the change in the law, it will be up to

:01:37. > :01:40.individual religious organisations to choose whether or not they want

:01:41. > :01:43.to hold ceremonies for gay people. Some, like the Church of England and

:01:44. > :01:52.the Roman Catholic Church, said they will not marry gay couples.

:01:53. > :01:55.Attitudes to gay people vary across the world: 16 countries currently

:01:56. > :01:59.allow same-sex marriage, but in others, such as Iran and Nigeria,

:02:00. > :02:02.it's illegal for a man to have a relationship with a man, or a woman

:02:03. > :02:06.with a woman. Scotland has also passed a law making gay marriage

:02:07. > :02:17.legal but there are no plans to do the same in Northern Ireland.

:02:18. > :02:21.Sport - and Man United take on Aston Villa today with the big focus will

:02:22. > :02:25.be on the air, not the pitch. Some United fans have hired a plane to

:02:26. > :02:28.fly over Old Trafford, towing a banner protesting against manager

:02:29. > :02:31.David Moyes after their worst ever Premier League season. Here's what

:02:32. > :02:35.the man himself thinks: There has been great support inside

:02:36. > :02:38.the ground. I'm witnessing great support from the people I bump into

:02:39. > :02:42.outside the ground. The people who put me in place in the job here are

:02:43. > :02:50.top football people who understand the game.

:02:51. > :02:53.Let's leave you with a smashing world record attempt: Team GB

:02:54. > :02:57.taekwondo champion Lisa Dennis was trying to break 1000 of these tiles

:02:58. > :03:02.in 90 seconds with her bare hands. And you can find out if she

:03:03. > :03:03.succeeded by joining us back here just before 12pm. I'll see you back
