0:03:05 > 0:03:08I actually got a new headteacher when I was at primary school.
0:03:08 > 0:03:10And when you get a new teacher, you are not always told
0:03:10 > 0:03:13why the other one left so it's up to your imagination,
0:03:13 > 0:03:14did they win the lottery?

0:03:25 > 0:03:27Tom, you are the illustrator.
0:03:27 > 0:03:28Yes.
0:03:28 > 0:03:32And you came up with the drawings quite early on.
0:03:32 > 0:03:34The first book, I had not read the story but I
0:03:34 > 0:03:36had a rough idea of what it was.
0:03:36 > 0:03:39But I needed to do a cover and I wanted
0:03:39 > 0:03:43to put the characters on and so I had to design them.
0:03:43 > 0:03:46But I had done some designs in my sketchbook,
0:03:46 > 0:03:48I checked in with Pamela on what her ideas were and
0:03:48 > 0:03:50strangely enough, they kind of matched.
0:03:50 > 0:03:52Some of the characters are based on the pupils that
0:03:52 > 0:03:53I teach, it's so much fun.
0:03:53 > 0:03:56We are in class, they say something, then I will be
0:03:56 > 0:03:59like, watch it, you will end up in one of my books.
0:03:59 > 0:04:01One more question for you, the trophy, so what do
0:04:01 > 0:04:02you think about it?
0:04:02 > 0:04:05I spent yesterday just pulling these leaves backwards and forwards
0:04:05 > 0:04:08looking at all the names of the people and Roald Dahl won this award
0:04:08 > 0:04:10in 1981 or 1982 for Matilda, which was

0:04:13 > 0:04:17winner but we each get to keep a little acorn from the silver tree
0:04:17 > 0:04:20and we both got a bookmark which is a little leaf
0:04:20 > 0:04:22from the silver tree so it's really special.
0:04:22 > 0:04:26Now to something else that's special - this fossilised skeleton
0:04:26 > 0:04:31of a massive sea reptile that lived 165 million years ago!
0:04:31 > 0:04:33The ancient bones were discovered at a quarry near Peterborough
0:04:33 > 0:04:37and have been carefully put back together by scientists,
0:04:37 > 0:04:40who nicknamed the creature Eve.
0:04:40 > 0:04:42This is a fossil of a plesiosaur which is
0:04:42 > 0:04:44a reptile that lived in the sea
0:04:44 > 0:04:45during the time of the dinosaurs.
0:04:45 > 0:04:47It was a very unusual-looking animal, nothing like
0:04:47 > 0:04:51anything we have alive today.
0:04:51 > 0:05:01It would've had a really long neck sticking out the front, a sort of
0:05:10 > 0:05:12bowel shaped body, four large flippers, the shape of wings almost
0:05:12 > 0:05:14and a short tail at the back.
0:05:14 > 0:05:17Engines at the ready, everyone, because Top Gear is back on our TV
0:05:17 > 0:05:19screens tonight with some brand new presenters.
0:05:19 > 0:05:22The big question people are asking is whether the new line-up can
0:05:22 > 0:05:24live up to the success of Jeremy Clarkson and co.
0:05:24 > 0:05:26Let's take a quick look at what we can expect.
