:00:57. > :00:59.We did a survey asking more than 1,000 kids from across
:01:00. > :01:03.the country from all backgrounds about their hopes for the future.
:01:04. > :01:29.Hallow. When I am older, I want to be a model. When I grow up, I want
:01:30. > :01:38.to be a doctor, a musician and a Manga artist. I want to be a
:01:39. > :01:42.forensic scientist. I want to be a footballer. We asked whether the
:01:43. > :01:46.colour of your skin can affect what you will be when you grow up. One in
:01:47. > :01:50.five black children said they thought their skin colour would
:01:51. > :01:55.affect what job they could get in the future. Children from a black
:01:56. > :01:58.background were more likely to say they admired footballers and
:01:59. > :02:01.rappers. Although black children felt like they were the most
:02:02. > :02:05.ambitious, they also thought that teachers were less likely to
:02:06. > :02:14.describe them as clever compared with children from a white
:02:15. > :02:21.background. We have done the survey, got the results. Do these children
:02:22. > :02:30.agree with what we have found? I had a teacher who was the opposite race
:02:31. > :02:34.to me. He believed in me. Black children are still being judged and
:02:35. > :02:39.stereotyped. It is unfair. It would be difficult for us to do what we
:02:40. > :02:43.want to do when we're older. Exam results for black children have
:02:44. > :02:48.improved but there is still a gap between black children and other
:02:49. > :02:52.backgrounds. From the result in our survey, black children feel like
:02:53. > :02:54.there are still some obstacles which may stop everyone having the same
:02:55. > :02:57.chance to achieve their dreams. And we'd
