:00:00. > :00:00.Hi, I'm Martin with your Newsround update.

:00:00. > :00:10.Ayshah finds out who inspires you in our aspirations survey.

:00:11. > :00:19.And the kick that sent Costa Rica into the quarter finals of the world

:00:20. > :00:21.cup. All this week we're talking about aspirations and what kids

:00:22. > :00:27.Maybe it's a top scientist or a premier league footballer?

:00:28. > :00:32.But there are concerns that not everyone gets the same chance to

:00:33. > :00:37.Some people are worried that black children aren't always getting

:00:38. > :00:40.the same opportunities as their classmates.

:00:41. > :00:43.They've pointed out that some have struggled to do as well

:00:44. > :00:45.as other kids in exams and that there are fewer people

:00:46. > :00:51.So, Newsround decided to investigate.

:00:52. > :00:53.We did a survey asking more than 1,000 kids from across

:00:54. > :00:57.the country from all backgrounds about their hopes for the future.

:00:58. > :01:08.When I am older, I want to be a model.

:01:09. > :01:11.When I grow up, I want to be a doctor,

:01:12. > :01:30.We asked whether the colour of your skin can affect what you

:01:31. > :01:35.One in five black children said they thought

:01:36. > :01:40.their skin colour would affect what job they could get in the future.

:01:41. > :01:43.Children from a black background were more likely to say they

:01:44. > :01:48.Although black children felt like they were the most ambitious,

:01:49. > :01:52.they also thought that teachers were less likely to describe them

:01:53. > :01:57.as clever compared with children from a white background.

:01:58. > :01:59.We have done the survey, got the results.

:02:00. > :02:02.Do these children agree with what we have found?

:02:03. > :02:09.I had a teacher who was the opposite race to me.

:02:10. > :02:19.Black children are still being judged and stereotyped.

:02:20. > :02:26.It would be difficult for us to do what we want to do when we're older.

:02:27. > :02:28.Exam results for black children have improved but

:02:29. > :02:32.there is still a gap between black children and other backgrounds.

:02:33. > :02:38.From the results in our survey, black children feel like there are

:02:39. > :02:42.still some obstacles which may stop everyone having the same chance to

:02:43. > :02:49.And Ayshah's back with another report tomorrow, this time

:02:50. > :02:55.interviewing a famous space scientist about why there are so few

:02:56. > :02:59.people from a black background in science at the moment, and whether

:03:00. > :03:03.that is changing. Next, after a day off yesterday, the strawberries are

:03:04. > :03:06.being prepared, the grass is being cut and players are getting ready

:03:07. > :03:24.for week two of Wimbledon. Jenny's there live for us now.

:03:25. > :03:32.It looks amazing. It is manic Monday at Wimbledon. The fans had been up

:03:33. > :03:37.early and they are queueing. They are ready to come in and watched

:03:38. > :03:43.tennis. The biggest shock of the tournament was on Saturday when the

:03:44. > :03:50.favourite and world number one Serena Williams was beaten. Her

:03:51. > :03:56.opponent was a bit shocked she won. A few years ago I could not even

:03:57. > :04:00.play on grass. And now I have beaten Serena Williams, the world number

:04:01. > :04:03.one. I have to realise it and then I will have to be ready for the next

:04:04. > :04:17.match because the tournament is not over. Today there is no shortage of

:04:18. > :04:24.big names in action on court. Of course, all eyes are on defending

:04:25. > :04:31.champion Andy Murray. He takes on Kevin Anderson from South Africa on

:04:32. > :04:39.the Centre Court at 3pm. Tell us more about Andy Murray 's opponent?

:04:40. > :04:45.He is six tall and has a huge serve. In his first match he hit 63 aces.

:04:46. > :04:49.Andy Murray has beaten him before in the Australian open but lost to him

:04:50. > :04:53.the year after in a tournament at Montr?al. Andy Murray has got

:04:54. > :04:57.through to the fourth round without dropping a set and he has had the

:04:58. > :05:01.whole weekend of said he could chill out and he should be really

:05:02. > :05:03.refreshed. The match starts at 3pm but I will be back at 4:20pm,

:05:04. > :05:09.bringing you all the latest. Staying with sport, here's your

:05:10. > :05:11.World Cup update. A late equaliser from Greece wasn't enough to stop

:05:12. > :05:14.Costa Rica beating them 5-3 on penalties and heading to the

:05:15. > :05:17.quarter-finals for the first time in their history. And it was a great

:05:18. > :05:20.night for the Netherlands as they came from behind to beat Mexico 2-1.

:05:21. > :05:23.Today sees France play Nigeria at 5pm and Germany face Algeria at 9pm.

:05:24. > :05:26.Music now. And over the last five days, 175 people have visited

:05:27. > :05:32.Glastonbury Festival in Somerset. And they've made quite a mess. It

:05:33. > :05:36.could take up to six weeks to get the site back to normal with a

:05:37. > :05:40.litter picking crew of up to 800 people trying to clean up after the

:05:41. > :05:43.festival-goers. This year saw performances from Rudimental, Ellie

:05:44. > :05:46.Goulding and Kasabian, but it was country Queen Dolly Parton who drew

:05:47. > :06:00.the biggest crowd. Ask your grandma.
