:00:53. > :00:56.Next, this rocket launch behind me is no ordinary lift-off.

:00:57. > :00:59.It's the first time a rocket's headed back into space after having

:01:00. > :01:03.Normally rocket parts are used only once and then scrapped

:01:04. > :01:08.or destroyed when it lands back on Earth.

:01:09. > :01:11.But American company SpaceX has faound a way of landing rocket parts

:01:12. > :01:14.safely back on Earth and then re-using them to head

:01:15. > :01:17.It's hoped this will help make rocket launches a lot

:01:18. > :01:33.A war there has been going on for seven years.

:01:34. > :01:36.Many thousands of people have been killed and millions more have fled

:01:37. > :01:39.But what is life like for the families who are

:01:40. > :01:44.A team of BBC journalists went to the city of Homs to find out.

:01:45. > :01:46.In the last few years, so much has changed in Syria.

:01:47. > :01:48.Buildings have been completely destroyed.

:01:49. > :01:51.Some parts of the country are unrecognisable.

:01:52. > :01:54.Different groups who can't agree on the way the country should be

:01:55. > :01:57.run have been fighting against each other.

:01:58. > :02:01.Life has changed drastically for children living here.

:02:02. > :02:03.Three years ago, Barah-hah was scared.

:02:04. > :02:07.She lost members of her own family in some of the fiercest fighting

:02:08. > :02:10.and had to stop going to school because it wasn't safe.

:02:11. > :02:15.Back then she told the BBC what life was like.

:02:16. > :02:26.Three years on, and a lot has changed.

:02:27. > :02:34.Her classroom is crowded and she gave the BBC's

:02:35. > :02:41.You know, in some ways, of course this is terrific to see,

:02:42. > :02:47.children just being children here in Syria.

:02:48. > :02:51.A place that has seen some of the worst fighting of the war.

:02:52. > :02:54.And now an ordinary day with children going to

:02:55. > :03:07.When I go to bed, I remember when I had a part in a

:03:08. > :03:09.play, I remember school, what I did

:03:10. > :03:13.It's all good stuff, no bad memories.

:03:14. > :03:15.These children are lucky to be back

:03:16. > :03:18.in school but not every child in Syria is so fortunate.

:03:19. > :03:22.Many are still not able to go to school and there is still no end

:03:23. > :03:34.Manchester City Women became the first English team to reach

:04:17. > :04:19.title 19 years ago. Next, it's time to meet a music

:04:20. > :04:24.lover called Ruweyda. Even though she is seven years old,

:04:25. > :04:26.Ruweyda only recently Martin's been finding

:04:27. > :04:34.out more about her. She is seven years old and has

:04:35. > :04:37.something called selective mutism, a very strong

:04:38. > :04:40.type of anxiety meaning she cannot speak

:04:41. > :04:44.Until recently, Ruweyda did not say a word at

:04:45. > :04:56.school, until she started taking some special music classes.

:04:57. > :04:59.I guess Ruweyda was very quiet with selective mutism, not speaking

:05:00. > :05:05.And then she came to music therapy and she was

:05:06. > :05:09.very shy in the first session and it took

:05:10. > :05:10.a little while to warm up, but

:05:11. > :05:15.then she responded really well and quickly.

:05:16. > :05:18.It was after her second session when she spoke her first

:05:19. > :05:27.Some of the kids came in and said Ruwedya is speaking!

:05:28. > :05:29.I thought, she can speak, she is just shy.

:05:30. > :05:46.About 1% of children are thought to have

:05:47. > :05:47.selective mutism like Ruweyda but there's

:05:48. > :05:49.not a lot of research into

:05:50. > :05:51.helping people with it, so people like Ruwedya's music

:05:52. > :05:53.teacher are working hard to find different ways to help.
