:01:37. > :01:46.what girls think about themselves? One of the big things is it is so
:01:47. > :01:51.accessible. Children with smart technology they can go online and
:01:52. > :01:54.criticise themselves, comparing themselves to people who are
:01:55. > :02:03.airbrushed and shot through filters. There is a lot of people who look
:02:04. > :02:07.amazing in celebrities, but don't look like that in real life. A
:02:08. > :02:14.quarter of a million young people being unhappy, that is a big number.
:02:15. > :02:19.Yes and it is testament to the way we measure our children, they can
:02:20. > :02:27.get measured on English and maths, not necessarily meaning they're a
:02:28. > :02:32.poor learner, but they are not looking at the capabilities we need.
:02:33. > :02:36.People want advice on how to not feel this way? First recognise it.
:02:37. > :02:43.If you recognise you're unhappy, you can talk to somebody about it. Seek
:02:44. > :02:48.support, either off a parent or off a teacher, somebody you can talk
:02:49. > :02:53.toichlt you need to reframe it. So think about it differently. Know
:02:54. > :02:57.that these pictures are edited and airbrushed, they're not real and
:02:58. > :03:02.remember you are so much more than the way that you look. There will be
:03:03. > :03:06.girls and boys who are critical about themselves, but if they think
:03:07. > :03:07.about they're strengths and capabilities, they will feel more
