:00:19. > :00:23.Good morning, I'm Hayley - the morning after a massive night

:00:24. > :00:39.It is the morning after the night before that Scotland decided to

:00:40. > :00:45.remain in the UK. I went to where they conducted the accounts and

:00:46. > :00:50.there were passionate people on both sides. However, it was the no

:00:51. > :00:51.campaign that came out on top. We were there throughout the whole

:00:52. > :00:54.night. The people of Scotland have voted

:00:55. > :00:57.in record numbers on the future This is a campaign like no other I

:00:58. > :01:00.have seen in my lifetime. If there is a yes vote tonight,

:01:01. > :01:04.there are some huge issues that Nothing like this is ever been seen

:01:05. > :01:07.in Scotland or Britain The polls are closed

:01:08. > :01:11.and now they have to count every Ballot boxes have been brought

:01:12. > :01:15.in all around Scotland to places The people who will be counting yes,

:01:16. > :01:20.no, yes, no. These teenagers have been invited to

:01:21. > :01:23.stay up all night to watch I think it will be very close,

:01:24. > :01:31.but I do think the yes vote will come through and

:01:32. > :01:35.Scotland will have a massive party. more results to come in

:01:36. > :01:54.and it is still early days. Then it became clear that

:01:55. > :02:12.the no voters were firmly ahead. The BBC has forecast now

:02:13. > :02:25.that Scotland has voted no. Record numbers

:02:26. > :02:29.of Scottish people have voted, more The no campaign has come out

:02:30. > :02:47.on top and it has been a huge night What a great night to stay up all

:02:48. > :02:54.night and to see those results coming through. It was very

:02:55. > :02:58.exciting. The story is very big. It has been broadcast all over the

:02:59. > :03:09.world. The were international news cameras here. Martin is in

:03:10. > :03:15.Edinburgh. How are you? Good morning. You have cot me in the

:03:16. > :03:21.middle of my breakfast with my new friends. I am at a breakfast club in

:03:22. > :03:30.Edinburgh. What time did you get up this morning? 4am. What you think

:03:31. > :03:37.about the result? I think it is better that we stayed together

:03:38. > :03:43.because that way we will be able to still use the money of the United

:03:44. > :03:51.Kingdom. Do you agree with that? No. We do not get any say in what we do

:03:52. > :03:57.and it was our chance to get a say but we did not get it. What do you

:03:58. > :04:01.think? I think it is good because the Yes campaign were saying that it

:04:02. > :04:06.would be great but they would not tell us about the money was going to

:04:07. > :04:13.come from. Enjoy your breakfast. Back to you. Thank you. It was a

:04:14. > :04:29.huge night. What happens next? Scotland is not going to leave the

:04:30. > :04:33.UK, but things are going to be different. The three main political

:04:34. > :04:40.parties have agreed to give Scotland new powers. He promised these powers

:04:41. > :04:45.to persuade people to vote no to independence. The details will need

:04:46. > :04:52.to be worked out, but it will mean that the Scottish Government will

:04:53. > :04:57.have more control and control over taxation. It will also mean big

:04:58. > :05:00.changes for the rest of the UK. They need to work out the detail of these

:05:01. > :05:11.changes and that will take months if not years. The arguments about how

:05:12. > :05:28.the UK is run will continue. Thank you. I am giant by some first-time

:05:29. > :05:31.voters. -- I am giant. I think this will mean big change for Scotland

:05:32. > :05:40.and I hope that Westminster delivers. What about you? I voted

:05:41. > :05:46.no, but I really hope that Westminster delivers on its promises

:05:47. > :05:54.a bit more powers for Scotland. You both go to the same school. What is

:05:55. > :05:57.the atmosphere like at school? The participation in politics in school

:05:58. > :06:00.we do to the debate has been brilliant and I hope bet that

:06:01. > :06:06.continues. It has been a great atmosphere from both people --

:06:07. > :06:10.people on both sides of the debate. How has it fell been able to take

:06:11. > :06:16.part in this historic decision for the first time? It is incredible. I

:06:17. > :06:21.am so happy that I have been able to take part in this. It is surely

:06:22. > :06:24.great being able to engage with politics and democracy. I think

:06:25. > :06:28.there should be more opportunities for young people to do that. Do you

:06:29. > :06:35.think that you will engage in politics more? Hopefully. I have

:06:36. > :06:42.become more engaged since the debate and I hope that this continues. I

:06:43. > :06:46.think it has been great. More people have become interested in politics.

:06:47. > :06:53.I hope there are more opportunities for young people to engage. Thank

:06:54. > :06:58.you for coming to speak to us. It has been a huge night for Scotland.
