0:03:25 > 0:03:27Hey, hey, come on, Salty.
0:03:27 > 0:03:30HE HUMS
0:03:30 > 0:03:31Here we are.
0:03:40 > 0:03:45Go on, in your bed. Good girl, go on. There we are.
0:03:45 > 0:03:50Oh, look here, it's your favourite aeroplane, Salty, yeah.
0:03:50 > 0:03:55Look at that. Oh, I've got to fix that propeller, too. I'll do that.
0:03:55 > 0:03:58You're still thinking about that balloon, aren't you?
0:03:58 > 0:04:03I know, it was a very, very fine balloon,
0:04:03 > 0:04:07but, you know, balloons can be trouble, too.
0:04:07 > 0:04:12What about that time we took those balloons to the Tigerfish's party?
0:04:12 > 0:04:14Do you remember?
0:04:15 > 0:04:17Once upon a twinkly time,
0:04:17 > 0:04:19The Rainbow set off from Staithes,
0:04:19 > 0:04:21waved goodbye to Whitby
0:04:21 > 0:04:24and disappeared over the horizon.
0:04:24 > 0:04:26We didn't really have a plan that day,
0:04:26 > 0:04:28so we sang.
0:04:28 > 0:04:30# Just Salty Dog and me
0:04:30 > 0:04:33# Upon the silvery sea
0:04:33 > 0:04:35# Nowhere to go and nothing to do
0:04:35 > 0:04:38# We'll sit on the deck and stare at the blue
0:04:38 > 0:04:42# The day will go by in the blink of an eye
0:04:42 > 0:04:45# Just Salty Dog and me. #
0:04:45 > 0:04:49But just as we were getting nice and comfy, and snoozy,
0:04:49 > 0:04:53we heard a flapping of wings, and our good friend Brenda the stork
0:04:53 > 0:04:56landed rather awkwardly on the deck.
0:04:56 > 0:04:58Ooh! Oh, dear.
0:04:58 > 0:05:01"Oh, bother this package," she said.
0:05:01 > 0:05:04"It's addressed to the Tigerfish, special delivery.
0:05:04 > 0:05:08"It's a Pass-the-Parcel parcel, and it's very heavy."
0:05:08 > 0:05:10Hup!
0:05:10 > 0:05:16Pass The Parcel? "It must be the Tigerfish's birthday," I realised.
0:05:16 > 0:05:18Brenda shook her head.
0:05:18 > 0:05:21"Oh dear. He lives under the sea.
0:05:21 > 0:05:25"I can't go down there, my feathers will get all wet!"
0:05:25 > 0:05:29Well, Salty and I were used to walking around under the sea,
0:05:29 > 0:05:33so we offered to deliver the package.
0:05:33 > 0:05:37Well, once under the water, we delivered the package,
0:05:37 > 0:05:41and we made our way back. We almost collided with Speedy!
0:05:41 > 0:05:45In a hurry, as always, he was delivering the birthday cake.
0:05:45 > 0:05:46"Must dash.
0:05:46 > 0:05:50"Beep-beep," and he sped off.
0:05:50 > 0:05:53And then along came Charlie Squid.
0:05:53 > 0:05:56He had his tentacles all tangled up in string bunting
0:05:56 > 0:05:58to decorate the Tigerfish's house.
0:05:58 > 0:06:02"There is so much to do for the Tigerfish's party," he said.
0:06:02 > 0:06:05"It's a good job everyone is helping."
0:06:05 > 0:06:09As we headed on, Salty spotted a little pufferfish,
0:06:09 > 0:06:11perched behind some sea petals.
0:06:11 > 0:06:13She looked a bit sad.
0:06:13 > 0:06:18Hello! Have you been invited to the Tigerfish's party this afternoon?
0:06:18 > 0:06:21"Yes," sniffed the pufferfish, rather sadly,
0:06:21 > 0:06:25"but everybody has got a job to do except me.
0:06:25 > 0:06:29"I want to help with the party like everyone else. It's not fair.
0:06:29 > 0:06:31"I'm not going."
0:06:31 > 0:06:34Oh, dear! She wasn't happy at all,
0:06:34 > 0:06:36but there was nothing we could do.
0:06:36 > 0:06:41So we said goodbye to the sad little pufferfish and we headed off.
0:06:41 > 0:06:43Back on The Rainbow,
0:06:43 > 0:06:49Salty and I had blown up a big bunch of balloons for the party.
0:06:49 > 0:06:50We were having a short break,
0:06:50 > 0:06:56when Salty spotted something strange rising up from the water.
0:06:56 > 0:07:01I took out my trusty telescope... and I had a look.
0:07:01 > 0:07:04It was more balloons.
0:07:04 > 0:07:07They rose up into the air, to reveal Bluey,
0:07:07 > 0:07:11the blue whale, underneath, holding them.
0:07:11 > 0:07:12"Hi, Bluey," I said.
0:07:12 > 0:07:17"Let me guess, are they the Tigerfish's party balloons?" I asked.
0:07:17 > 0:07:20"Yes," Bluey said.
0:07:20 > 0:07:27"I'm supposed to be delivering them, but I need to get a present, too."
0:07:27 > 0:07:31And then Salty, she had one of her brilliant ideas.
0:07:31 > 0:07:32WOOF
0:07:32 > 0:07:35We could deliver the balloons for Bluey!
0:07:35 > 0:07:36Brilliant.
0:07:36 > 0:07:39Bluey carefully handed over his balloons to us
0:07:39 > 0:07:43and we tied them onto the rails of The Rainbow
0:07:43 > 0:07:45with the balloons we had already blown up.
0:07:45 > 0:07:48Bluey thanked us and dashed off,
0:07:48 > 0:07:50but as we waved them off,
0:07:50 > 0:07:54we noticed something strange happening.
0:07:54 > 0:07:59The front of the boat was going slowly up in the air.
0:07:59 > 0:08:04And then we noticed that the whole boat was going up in the air.
0:08:04 > 0:08:08And of course, all those extra balloons were lifting The Rainbow
0:08:08 > 0:08:12up into the air. Up, up, up we went
0:08:12 > 0:08:15and we began to float in the sky.
0:08:15 > 0:08:18Salty was very excited, weren't you?
0:08:18 > 0:08:22She had always dreamed of being a pilot, flying her very own aeroplane.
0:08:22 > 0:08:25I looked through my trusty telescope,
0:08:25 > 0:08:28and down below I saw the village clock in Staithes.
0:08:28 > 0:08:30Whoops! Look at the time!
0:08:30 > 0:08:36The party was starting soon, and we still had these balloons to deliver.
0:08:36 > 0:08:40We needed to get The Rainbow down again, and fast.
0:08:40 > 0:08:43We were floating higher and higher
0:08:43 > 0:08:46when Brenda the stork passed by again.
0:08:46 > 0:08:49"I know! I'll call up the angry bees,
0:08:49 > 0:08:53"they'll be able to help," she said.
0:08:53 > 0:08:57Well, we tried to stop her, but Brenda was already on the phone.
0:08:57 > 0:08:59And sure enough, moments later,
0:08:59 > 0:09:04on the horizon we saw a large crowd of angry bees.
0:09:04 > 0:09:06Bzzzzzzzz!
0:09:06 > 0:09:09"No! No!" we shouted, "Don't pop the balloons,
0:09:09 > 0:09:12"we need them for the party"!
0:09:12 > 0:09:13But it was too late.
0:09:16 > 0:09:20The bees popped every single balloon with their stings.
0:09:20 > 0:09:24Moments later, there wasn't a balloon left,
0:09:24 > 0:09:27and, of course, The Rainbow suddenly fell back into the sea
0:09:27 > 0:09:30with an enormous crash,
0:09:30 > 0:09:33and an enormous splash!
0:09:33 > 0:09:35Brenda flapped over.
0:09:35 > 0:09:39"That got you down," she said, cheerily.
0:09:39 > 0:09:43Well, it was true, but what were we going to do?
0:09:43 > 0:09:48Now we didn't have a single balloon for the party.
0:09:48 > 0:09:51But Salty, she had her thoughtful face on,
0:09:51 > 0:09:54the one where her whiskers wiggle.
0:09:54 > 0:09:56She'd just had a brilliant idea.
0:09:56 > 0:09:58WOOF!
0:09:58 > 0:10:01"We need to find that pufferfish," she said.
0:10:01 > 0:10:03So we dashed back down, under the water,
0:10:03 > 0:10:06looking for the sad little pufferfish.
0:10:06 > 0:10:09"How is a little pufferfish going to help us?" I asked,
0:10:09 > 0:10:13but Salty was in too much of a hurry to reply.
0:10:13 > 0:10:17Eventually, we found the little pufferfish where we'd left her,
0:10:17 > 0:10:20behind a sea petal.
0:10:20 > 0:10:23"Little pufferfish," said Salty,
0:10:23 > 0:10:27"Would you like a job to do at the party?"
0:10:27 > 0:10:32Well, her puffy eyes brightened when she heard that!
0:10:32 > 0:10:35"Oh, yes, please," she said.
0:10:35 > 0:10:38"Then puff yourself up like a balloon,"
0:10:38 > 0:10:42said Salty, "because we don't have any."
0:10:42 > 0:10:47And right there and then, the sad little pufferfish puffed herself up
0:10:47 > 0:10:53to be a really big, happy pufferfish, who looked just like a balloon!
0:10:54 > 0:10:57"And can you stay like that for the whole party?" I asked.
0:10:57 > 0:11:00"Oh, yes," puffed the pufferfish.
0:11:00 > 0:11:02"I'm always full of puff."
0:11:02 > 0:11:04"Hu-hu-hu-hu."
0:11:04 > 0:11:07We were ready for the party!
0:11:07 > 0:11:09And what a party it was!
0:11:09 > 0:11:13The little pufferfish invited all her brothers and sisters along,
0:11:13 > 0:11:17as well, so we had pufferfish balloons everywhere.
0:11:17 > 0:11:21Salty won a model aeroplane playing Pass the Parcel,
0:11:21 > 0:11:23and the Tigerfish said,
0:11:23 > 0:11:26"This is the best birthday ever!"
0:11:26 > 0:11:33And this is the plane Salty won in Pass the Parcel.
0:11:33 > 0:11:36Yeah, I'll fix that later.
0:11:36 > 0:11:41Well, that was a tale to wiffle your whiskers, wasn't it, Salty?
0:11:41 > 0:11:44Yeah, we'll fix that.
0:11:50 > 0:11:53Did you like that story, Salty?
0:11:53 > 0:11:55Yes? All true, of course.
0:11:55 > 0:11:59Mind you, my stories always are. Ho-ho.
0:11:59 > 0:12:03Oh, look. See that?
0:12:03 > 0:12:05Come on.
0:12:16 > 0:12:18HE HUMS
0:12:18 > 0:12:19Come on, you. There we are.
0:12:19 > 0:12:22- Hello, Jack.- Hello, Shelly. They look good!
0:12:22 > 0:12:25It must have taken you all morning to bake these!
0:12:25 > 0:12:29Not really. Why don't you settle yourself down and try one?
0:12:29 > 0:12:30I think I will, yes.
0:12:30 > 0:12:32You sit down, too, go on.
0:12:32 > 0:12:37Oh, it's looking lovely again, Shelly. Well done.
0:12:37 > 0:12:41Sorry you couldn't find any more balloons for your special offer day.
0:12:41 > 0:12:42Balloons!
0:12:42 > 0:12:46Don't worry, Shelly, it's the cakes that matter.
0:12:46 > 0:12:49You know, lemon fizzler, choc-around-the-clock!
0:12:49 > 0:12:53But I wanted to give Salty a balloon! Now, where did I put them?
0:12:58 > 0:13:00- Stay there.- Ah, there they are.
0:13:02 > 0:13:04Here you go, Salty!
0:13:04 > 0:13:06I don't remember those being there!
0:13:06 > 0:13:09You were probably concentrating on your cakes!
0:13:09 > 0:13:13I think I was. It's a lemon fizzler for me, definitely.
0:13:13 > 0:13:14Enjoy!
0:13:14 > 0:13:17Yes, thanks. Sit down while I unwrap this.
0:13:17 > 0:13:19Ha-ha-ha...ho-ho-ho...
0:13:28 > 0:13:31Well, Salty, that's it for today.
0:13:31 > 0:13:33We'll see all our friends again next time.
0:13:35 > 0:13:38Oh, and we'll see you next time as well.
0:13:38 > 0:13:39Bye-bye.
0:13:39 > 0:13:40Come on, girl.
