0:03:05 > 0:03:06- And guess what.- What?

0:03:06 > 0:03:10You're going to have a go, and your ones are going to be way better.

0:03:10 > 0:03:13But that's not all. You'll have wizard powers too.

0:03:13 > 0:03:17Like you can look around the room and control things.

0:03:17 > 0:03:22Say there's a bookshelf, you can look at it and go, "Make the books fall off". Bang, the books will fall off.

0:03:22 > 0:03:27- Wow.- Sam is going to be like, "Oh, my gosh, Natasha has these powers."

0:03:27 > 0:03:32And then you'll read a spell, and I'll appear as a wizard from nowhere.

0:03:32 > 0:03:35- Awesome.- Sound good?- Yeah, wicked.

0:03:35 > 0:03:39- So that's it. It's a fun prank. Pretty full on. Are you keen?- Yeah.

0:03:39 > 0:03:44Ninjas, take us to the amazingly good but bad magician. Drive.

0:03:44 > 0:03:47If best friend Sam is going to fall for this prank,

0:03:47 > 0:03:50Tash is going to have to pull out some magic moves,

0:03:50 > 0:03:53and who better to teach her than master magician Kamal,

0:03:53 > 0:03:57who during the prank, will pretend to be a bad magician

0:03:57 > 0:04:00to make Tash look like a magic master.

0:04:09 > 0:04:11Where's Kamal?

0:04:11 > 0:04:16- I don't know.- Oh, I know. I click my fingers and he'll magically appear. Check this out.

0:04:17 > 0:04:18What is going on?

0:04:18 > 0:04:21Whoa, how random is that? Hang on.

0:04:21 > 0:04:24- Oh.- Whoa.- Something's seriously not right. Hang on.

0:04:26 > 0:04:28Oh, man! This one doesn't even fit.

0:04:28 > 0:04:30Scotty, let me do it.

0:04:31 > 0:04:34Have you been taking lessons behind my back?

0:04:34 > 0:04:37- How are you, Kamal? - Good, Scotty, how are you?

0:04:38 > 0:04:41- Good to see you. Natasha, Kamal, Kamal, Natasha.- Hi.

0:04:41 > 0:04:45He's our man of magic, and he's going to help us with our prank to fool Sam.

0:04:45 > 0:04:47So, can you teach us a few tricks?

0:04:47 > 0:04:50- I've got a few up my sleeve. - We don't have all day

0:04:50 > 0:04:54Teaching Natasha magic tricks will be as quick as clicking my fingers.

0:04:55 > 0:04:58Oh! Kamal, are you serious?

0:04:59 > 0:05:01Sorry. I've really got to get this thing fixed.

0:05:01 > 0:05:06For the next bit, I need a volunteer from the audience. Who'd like to help?

0:05:06 > 0:05:08Um, Natasha, can you help me out?

0:05:08 > 0:05:11- Join me up on stage right here. - (CLAPS) Yeay!

0:05:11 > 0:05:16Now, Natasha, these are plain biscuits in the shapes of different animals.

0:05:16 > 0:05:20I want you to reach in, take one, but don't show me what you've got.

0:05:20 > 0:05:24I'm going to try and guess. Reach in. Don't let me see it. Hide it.

0:05:24 > 0:05:26Be very careful. They're fragile.

0:05:26 > 0:05:28- Have a look. Do you know what the animal is?- Yeah.

0:05:28 > 0:05:32Great, I'm going to try and guess what it is you've got.

0:05:32 > 0:05:35And not only that, I'm going to draw the animal.

0:05:35 > 0:05:39- Done. Please tell Scott, what animal did you choose?- Giraffe.

0:05:39 > 0:05:41- Sorry?- Giraffe.

0:05:41 > 0:05:43No, I took all of them out. There's no giraffes.

0:05:43 > 0:05:46What... Show me... Oh.

0:05:48 > 0:05:50Oh. No, no, I can fix this.

0:05:50 > 0:05:53It looks like a mistake, right? It's not. I can fix it.

0:05:53 > 0:05:58Yeah, perfect. There it is. Yep. I just forgot to add the spots.

0:05:58 > 0:06:01- (SCOTTY LAUGHS) - That's what a giraffe needs, right?

0:06:01 > 0:06:04Spots. And the... the neck.

0:06:04 > 0:06:07The neck would look a little something like this.

0:06:09 > 0:06:10Whoa!

0:06:10 > 0:06:14Now, Natasha, this is just ink and paper.

0:06:14 > 0:06:17And it's yours to keep as a souvenir.

0:06:17 > 0:06:18Thank you.

0:06:18 > 0:06:23- You're very welcome. - Yes! How good was that?

0:06:23 > 0:06:25- Oh, my God. That was funny. - Can I see that?

0:06:25 > 0:06:28- It's real.- It is legit. Well done.

0:06:28 > 0:06:33Now we need to teach Natasha to pull off some of these tricks of her own.

0:06:33 > 0:06:37So, Natasha, I'm going to show you this amazing card trick

0:06:37 > 0:06:39- that will freak Sam out. Are you ready?- Yep.

0:06:39 > 0:06:44OK. I want to make sure you know all the cards are completely different

0:06:44 > 0:06:46and it is a regular deck of cards.

0:06:46 > 0:06:47All 52 are there.

0:06:47 > 0:06:50Now, I want you to choose one in a second

0:06:50 > 0:06:54just by cutting the cards in half, so pick up half, pop them just here.

0:06:54 > 0:06:56And we'll just mark that spot.

0:06:56 > 0:06:59I'm not sure I told you earlier, but I have X-ray vision.

0:06:59 > 0:07:02So we'll take the card you cut to, don't look at it,

0:07:02 > 0:07:04stand up, sit on the card for me, perfect.

0:07:04 > 0:07:09Now I'm going to use my X-ray vision. I've got special X-ray vision glasses here.

0:07:09 > 0:07:12- I look pretty cool, don't you think? - (DOUBTFUL) Yeah.

0:07:12 > 0:07:16Tilt your head back, open your mouth, I'll look through you.

0:07:16 > 0:07:19I see it. It's the eight of spades. Take it out. Show everybody.

0:07:19 > 0:07:22- It's the eight of spades. - That is fantastic!

0:07:22 > 0:07:25- Do you want to see how it all works? - Yeah.

0:07:25 > 0:07:27- Can we do that? - We can do that. Here we go.

0:07:27 > 0:07:31Natasha, at the very start, do you remember I showed you the cards?

0:07:31 > 0:07:34We made sure all the cards were different.

0:07:34 > 0:07:39What I was really doing was secretly remembering which card was on the top of the deck.

0:07:39 > 0:07:41In this case, the eight of spades.

0:07:41 > 0:07:42So I gathered the cards up

0:07:42 > 0:07:44and asked you to cut them in half,

0:07:44 > 0:07:49and we marked the spot by putting the other half on top, sidewards.

0:07:49 > 0:07:53Now I talked to you about having super powers and X-ray vision,

0:07:53 > 0:07:55and what I'm really doing is distracting you,

0:07:55 > 0:07:57trying to make you forget which half of the deck is which.

0:07:57 > 0:08:01So now when I ask you to take this card from the middle and sit on it,

0:08:01 > 0:08:04what you're doing is taking the eight of spades,

0:08:04 > 0:08:06which was originally on top of the deck.

0:08:06 > 0:08:09- It's as easy as that.- Awesome.

0:08:09 > 0:08:12OK, Natasha, I'm going to show you one more thing.

0:08:12 > 0:08:16This is a toothpick. Have a look, make sure it is just a regulation toothpick.

0:08:16 > 0:08:18And I've brought along a napkin.

0:08:18 > 0:08:22I'm going to place the toothpick inside the folds of the napkin.

0:08:22 > 0:08:25- Can you feel the toothpick is still in there?- Yep.

0:08:25 > 0:08:28I want you to take it between your fingers and break it in half,

0:08:28 > 0:08:30break it some more, and more and more.

0:08:30 > 0:08:33Here we go. Say the magic words.

0:08:33 > 0:08:35Abracadabra.

0:08:35 > 0:08:38Bring the toothpick back from broken.

0:08:41 > 0:08:43- So how does it work? - Let me explain it to you.

0:08:43 > 0:08:46First thing you need is a regular toothpick.

0:08:46 > 0:08:48then you need a special cloth.

0:08:48 > 0:08:51Inside the seam of the cloth, we have an extra toothpick.

0:08:51 > 0:08:55The broken one is hidden here, so we've got some pieces.

0:08:55 > 0:08:59So we need two whole toothpicks and our special cloth with...

0:08:59 > 0:09:01..the hidden pocket inside the seam.

0:09:01 > 0:09:06You place one toothpick inside the seam, so no-one knows it's there.

0:09:06 > 0:09:09We lay the cloth down so the toothpick in the seam

0:09:09 > 0:09:12is in the corner facing closest to me.

0:09:12 > 0:09:15Place a toothpick not quite in the middle, a bit closer to you.

0:09:15 > 0:09:19You pick up the hidden toothpick, fold it over,

0:09:19 > 0:09:21so that that is now in the middle.

0:09:21 > 0:09:25Place the rest of the handkerchief, napkin, over the top,

0:09:25 > 0:09:28so the hidden toothpick is still in the middle.

0:09:28 > 0:09:31This one goes over the top to here.

0:09:31 > 0:09:33Now, pick this up, and ask somebody to break it,

0:09:33 > 0:09:36once, twice, three times, as many times as they like,

0:09:36 > 0:09:38so it's completely broken.

0:09:38 > 0:09:40Napkin goes back down on the table,

0:09:40 > 0:09:43we say some magic words, open up the napkin,

0:09:43 > 0:09:46- and find the toothpick completely restored.- Cool.

0:09:46 > 0:09:48Another great magic trick.

0:09:48 > 0:09:51Actually, Kamal, I've been working on my own magic,

0:09:51 > 0:09:54and I would love your professional advice

0:09:54 > 0:09:57because I'm getting pretty good at the art of...

0:09:58 > 0:10:01..doing the magic... Prepare to be amazed.

0:10:05 > 0:10:07Hidden Treasure.

0:10:07 > 0:10:10Everyone loves hidden treasure.

0:10:10 > 0:10:16Now, with today's recipe, we'll tell you how you can surprise your best friend with just that.

0:10:16 > 0:10:18All you need is a whole pile of treasure.

0:10:18 > 0:10:21We suggest ping pong balls, folded-up newspaper,

0:10:21 > 0:10:26or anything else that's cheap or neat that you can get your hands on.

0:10:26 > 0:10:30And while your victim's away, fill their locker up with the booty.

0:10:30 > 0:10:33Then lock her up and set sail.

0:10:35 > 0:10:38Arrr! Nothing compares to the look of a young buccaneer

0:10:38 > 0:10:41when they first set eyes on hidden treasure.

0:10:41 > 0:10:42Arrr!

0:10:46 > 0:10:50Latest Prank Patrol member Tash is out to trick her best friend Sam

0:10:50 > 0:10:54into thinking she's got a natural talent for all things magical.

0:10:54 > 0:10:55She's learned some cool tricks,

0:10:55 > 0:11:00but now it's time to up the ante with some mystical, gravity-defying magic.

0:11:02 > 0:11:05Here we are at Prank HQ. Whooo!

0:11:07 > 0:11:11G'day, Bob. How are you? Hey, Tash, this is Bob. Bob, Tash.

0:11:11 > 0:11:14- Hi.- Hey, Tash.

0:11:14 > 0:11:17Now, Bob here's our Prank Patrol mystical effects guru.

0:11:17 > 0:11:21He'll help you out when you prank Sam, so tell him what you're after.

0:11:21 > 0:11:24I'm going to have these magical powers and stuff,

0:11:24 > 0:11:27like books falling off a shelf.

0:11:27 > 0:11:30Books falling off the shelf? Mmm. Maybe something like this?

0:11:32 > 0:11:34How did you do that, Bob?

0:11:34 > 0:11:37- Come round the back. I'll show you how it's done.- You're great.

0:11:37 > 0:11:42We're behind the bookcase. I've rigged up wooden pieces with some wooden rods,

0:11:42 > 0:11:44and they prod the books.

0:11:44 > 0:11:47So, Tash, on prank day, we can have the Ninjas behind here,

0:11:47 > 0:11:51- and they can push the books out. Sound good?- Yeah, awesome.

0:11:51 > 0:11:54- Fantastic.- I've got one more idea. Let's go round the front.

0:11:54 > 0:11:56So, Tash, if you have magical powers,

0:11:56 > 0:11:59you've got to move other stuff with your mind.

0:11:59 > 0:12:01So I've set up some antique glassware,

0:12:01 > 0:12:04but some of it's not glass, it's movie glass.

0:12:04 > 0:12:07Looks and feels like glass. When it breaks, it's safe.

0:12:07 > 0:12:10So here's one, and I've tied fishing line around it.

0:12:10 > 0:12:14We'll put it here, feed the fishing line through to the back of the wall.

0:12:14 > 0:12:17- Can we test it out?- We sure can.

0:12:17 > 0:12:21Better step back. Say the magical words in three, two, one.

0:12:21 > 0:12:23Alakazam!

0:12:24 > 0:12:27Oh, my gosh!

0:12:27 > 0:12:29Oh, my gosh!

0:12:29 > 0:12:30Check it out!

0:12:30 > 0:12:32Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh.

0:12:32 > 0:12:35Do you want a drink? You can't have one. Good job, Bob.

0:12:35 > 0:12:37Your ideas are just awesome, every time.

0:12:37 > 0:12:42Now, if you guys will excuse me, I've got to make a phone call.

0:12:42 > 0:12:45Hi, is this the Ninja Advice Line? SPEEDED-UP VOICE

0:12:45 > 0:12:48My name's Scotty. I've got these Ninjas and I need advice.

0:12:48 > 0:12:52Year after year, they keep giving me terrible birthday presents.

0:12:52 > 0:12:55Last year, they gave me a jar of nothing.

0:12:55 > 0:12:59So my birthday's coming up, and I'm worried they'll give me more nothing.

0:12:59 > 0:13:01They don't even talk to me.

0:13:01 > 0:13:03Oh. Sorry, I'll call you back.

0:13:03 > 0:13:04Is this for me?

0:13:04 > 0:13:06Oh, really?

0:13:06 > 0:13:07Thank you so much!

0:13:08 > 0:13:11That's for me, too? Oh, you shouldn't have, guys. Thank you.

0:13:11 > 0:13:14Oh, man, this is so exciting.

0:13:17 > 0:13:19Oh, get out.

0:13:21 > 0:13:22Binoculars!

0:13:24 > 0:13:29Oh, man! These are going to be perfect for my pigeon watching!

0:13:29 > 0:13:31Oh, yeah! Sorry about that, guys,

0:13:31 > 0:13:35that was a hair gel company looking for some models for the hair gel.

0:13:35 > 0:13:37- Scotty...- Yeah, what?

0:13:38 > 0:13:40Oh, Ninjas!

0:13:43 > 0:13:47Latest Prank Patrol member Tash is out to prank best friend Sam

0:13:47 > 0:13:49into believing she's a real-life wizard.

0:13:49 > 0:13:53She's got the tricks, and special effects are ready to go.

0:13:53 > 0:13:57But will there be enough to convince our prankee to believe in magic?

0:13:57 > 0:14:00Or will this prank be all fizz and no bang?

0:14:00 > 0:14:02SCREAMING

0:14:02 > 0:14:07Tash, everything's in place and looking good, except one thing's missing. Your friend Sam.

0:14:07 > 0:14:12- So call her, make sure she's sweet to come. Do you know what you're going to say?- Yeah.

0:14:12 > 0:14:14Here we go. Good luck.

0:14:14 > 0:14:15RINGING

0:14:15 > 0:14:17Hello, Sam speaking.
