0:13:59 > 0:14:00# A fighter

0:14:00 > 0:14:03# Dancing through the fire

0:14:03 > 0:14:06# Cos I am a champion

0:14:06 > 0:14:10# And you're gonna hear me roar

0:14:10 > 0:14:14# Louder, louder than a lion

0:14:14 > 0:14:17# Cos I am a champion

0:14:17 > 0:14:20# And you're gonna hear me roar

0:14:20 > 0:14:22# Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

0:14:22 > 0:14:25# Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

0:14:25 > 0:14:28# Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

0:14:28 > 0:14:30# You're gonna hear me roar

0:14:30 > 0:14:33# Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

0:14:33 > 0:14:36# Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

0:14:36 > 0:14:38# Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

0:14:38 > 0:14:44# You're gonna hear me roar. #

0:14:44 > 0:14:49CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:14:49 > 0:14:52- Well done, guys.- I love that song.

0:14:52 > 0:14:54Love, love, love that song.

0:14:54 > 0:14:57Fantastic. OK, let's see what the judges thought.

0:14:57 > 0:15:00Carrie, today's first challenge. What did you think to the vocals?

0:15:00 > 0:15:01For Miss Chief, first of all,

0:15:01 > 0:15:04I would like to say it was a game of two halves for you guys.

0:15:04 > 0:15:05The first half was amazing.

0:15:05 > 0:15:07The second half, when you got to the chorus,

0:15:07 > 0:15:10you were in two different keys, which is quite difficult to

0:15:10 > 0:15:12listen to when you're not singing in the right key.

0:15:12 > 0:15:14But the first half was fantastic

0:15:14 > 0:15:15For Inferno,

0:15:15 > 0:15:18you had the most fantastic unity about your performance.

0:15:18 > 0:15:20Everywhere I looked,

0:15:20 > 0:15:23everyone was doing exactly the right thing at the right point.

0:15:23 > 0:15:26Your sound is a little squeaky for me. If you get through,

0:15:26 > 0:15:29I'd like you to get really think about smoothing it out a little.

0:15:29 > 0:15:32The ending, having said that, was beautiful vocally.

0:15:32 > 0:15:36And for Unity 7, your sound was so smooth vocally -

0:15:36 > 0:15:38beautiful, beautiful sound -

0:15:38 > 0:15:41as a result of that, the movement, for me,

0:15:41 > 0:15:42needed a little bit more snap.

0:15:42 > 0:15:44So even though you've got smooth vocals,

0:15:44 > 0:15:47don't let that smoothness go to your choreography

0:15:47 > 0:15:49Cheers, Carrie. David, were you entertained?

0:15:49 > 0:15:51Yeah, I found them very entertaining.

0:15:51 > 0:15:53All of them really gave a lot

0:15:53 > 0:15:55and tried their best. I'd like to

0:15:55 > 0:15:57first talk about Miss Chief.

0:15:57 > 0:15:59I really like your sound, it's a very urban sound.

0:15:59 > 0:16:03I think what Carrie was saying about the chorus was right.

0:16:03 > 0:16:06The verse though, I'm looking at the verse and thinking that, if you're

0:16:06 > 0:16:10getting that as your lowest mark, then you're going to be really good.

0:16:10 > 0:16:11The verse was strong.

0:16:11 > 0:16:13You got to the chorus and lost a bit of energy,

0:16:13 > 0:16:15but work on the good stuff.

0:16:15 > 0:16:17Come back more confident for the next round.

0:16:17 > 0:16:19You guys, it's not squeaky - it's bright.

0:16:19 > 0:16:22I like the brightness of that. It's very poppy, it's very bright.

0:16:22 > 0:16:26It's as bright as your smiling faces, which I really liked.

0:16:26 > 0:16:29I thought the harmonies on the chorus were inconsistent -

0:16:29 > 0:16:30they were in and out a bit.

0:16:30 > 0:16:34But you kept the kind of joy of your performance.

0:16:34 > 0:16:38Like Carrie, the thing I wrote for you was "very, very smooth".

0:16:38 > 0:16:39On the chorus,

0:16:39 > 0:16:42I felt like halfway through the chorus, it suddenly took off

0:16:42 > 0:16:45and, again, if you keep that, if that becomes your lowest benchmark,

0:16:45 > 0:16:48then you'll put in a really strong performance on the second round.

0:16:48 > 0:16:50Thanks, David.

0:16:50 > 0:16:53CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:16:53 > 0:16:55John, your thoughts, please.

0:16:55 > 0:16:59I think overall there was an energy level with each one of you.

0:16:59 > 0:17:02It was very good. What's your name, right there?

0:17:02 > 0:17:06- Sade.- Sade. Incredible, incredible performance energy.

0:17:06 > 0:17:10You've got some real performance attitude, so I love that.

0:17:10 > 0:17:12Yeah, otherwise, very good.

0:17:12 > 0:17:14The only thing I would say is for vocals, especially

0:17:14 > 0:17:18the chorus, I would love to have heard a little bit more blend.

0:17:18 > 0:17:21There was a lot of oversinging, sometimes shouty.

0:17:21 > 0:17:24I would love to have heard that wall of sound that Carrie talks about.

0:17:24 > 0:17:27So keep that in mind for next time.

0:17:27 > 0:17:28Sisco, which act did it for you?

0:17:28 > 0:17:29To be honest,

0:17:29 > 0:17:31I've got a note for everyone.

0:17:31 > 0:17:33I just think that,

0:17:33 > 0:17:35getting to this point, you have to sing like you

0:17:35 > 0:17:37need this, like you want this.

0:17:37 > 0:17:40I need to see that charisma. I need to see that vocal blend

0:17:40 > 0:17:44smooth. I need to see that choreography sharp, precise.

0:17:44 > 0:17:46We all need to take take a step up.

0:17:46 > 0:17:47Thanks, judges.

0:17:47 > 0:17:50While we check and verify the scores for Round One,

0:17:50 > 0:17:52let's take a look at some messages from friends of the show.

0:17:52 > 0:17:55If you want to get involved, grab a grown-up.

0:17:55 > 0:17:59Just grab them and visit the CBBC website.

0:17:59 > 0:18:00It's where you'll find out

0:18:00 > 0:18:02how to get involved with the Sport Relief Games.

0:18:02 > 0:18:03It's all happening

0:18:03 > 0:18:06between the 21st and 23rd of March. Good luck.

0:18:11 > 0:18:13The scores have been checked and verified

0:18:13 > 0:18:15and the results for Round One are in. Over to you, Sam.

0:18:15 > 0:18:18- Thanks, mate. You really are a good friend.- Thanks.

0:18:18 > 0:18:21I can reveal that the judges' combined score for Miss Chief,

0:18:21 > 0:18:24out of a possible 120 points is...

0:18:29 > 0:18:31CHEERING

0:18:31 > 0:18:34The judges' combined score for Inferno is...

0:18:40 > 0:18:42CHEERING

0:18:42 > 0:18:45And, finally, the judges' combined score for Unity 7 is...

0:18:49 > 0:18:52CHEERING

0:18:52 > 0:18:53Well done, guys.

0:18:53 > 0:18:55There's one more challenge to go, but let's take

0:18:55 > 0:18:58a look at the scoreboard after round number one.

0:18:58 > 0:19:02So Unity 7 have taken an early lead, with 75 points.

0:19:02 > 0:19:06However, with Inferno on 66 and Miss Chief on 64,

0:19:06 > 0:19:08it's close after Round One.

0:19:08 > 0:19:09With 120 points available

0:19:09 > 0:19:11to each group in Round Two,

0:19:11 > 0:19:13it could all change with the scores!

0:19:13 > 0:19:15Oh, well done, everyone.

0:19:15 > 0:19:17You can breathe a sigh of relief for now.

0:19:17 > 0:19:19So let's come to Miss Chief.

0:19:19 > 0:19:21You lot, you gave it some, didn't you?

0:19:21 > 0:19:25Hey, Sade, what did you feel about what John said to you?

0:19:25 > 0:19:27I felt like, yeah,

0:19:27 > 0:19:32I really liked it because I got picked out from everybody.

0:19:32 > 0:19:35- That must feel good.- Yeah. - Let's go and see Inferno.

0:19:35 > 0:19:38Now Carrie thought you lot had fantastic unity,

0:19:38 > 0:19:40but maybe there was some inconsistency in your harmonies.

0:19:40 > 0:19:43What have you got in store for your next song?

0:19:43 > 0:19:47Just fun and excitement and we hope we can make them smile

0:19:47 > 0:19:49- and bring marks out.- Good to know.

0:19:49 > 0:19:53And over to Unity 7, in the lead at this stage in the game.

0:19:53 > 0:19:54- That must feel quite good.- ALL: Yes.

0:19:54 > 0:19:57David and Carrie said, "Very, very smooth, but you might need

0:19:57 > 0:19:59"a bit more snap." How will you do that?

0:19:59 > 0:20:01We'll just give 100% in all our moves

0:20:01 > 0:20:04and just give it our all and show the judges that we can do it.

0:20:04 > 0:20:07- Have you got more movement in your next song?- Yes.- Yes.

0:20:07 > 0:20:11There's, like, storytelling, as well, so it goes nicely together.

0:20:11 > 0:20:13Do we all have more to give?

0:20:13 > 0:20:14ALL: Yes!

0:20:14 > 0:20:18One song down, one to go. Back to you, Sam and Mark

0:22:02 > 0:22:05THEY WHOOP

0:22:10 > 0:22:12when they first performed in London.

0:22:12 > 0:22:14That's super-high energy.

0:22:14 > 0:22:19# We are revolting children living in revolting times

0:22:19 > 0:22:23# We sing revolting songs using revolting rhymes... #

0:22:23 > 0:22:26At the judges' auditions, the panel were dazzled by Miss Chief's energy

0:22:26 > 0:22:29and had some good advice for the group to build on.

0:22:29 > 0:22:31Watch the ends of your words.

0:22:31 > 0:22:34I think that's probably because you've got a lot of things to do

0:22:34 > 0:22:36and you've got a lot of movement. But it was great. I loved it.

0:22:36 > 0:22:38What's your name, young lady?

0:22:38 > 0:22:39- Sade.- Sade,

0:22:39 > 0:22:43You were like an explosion on that stage, honestly.

0:23:13 > 0:23:14Good.

0:23:14 > 0:23:17Every time, like, you get told to do something,

0:23:17 > 0:23:19you may feel tired,

0:23:19 > 0:23:22but you know what the outcome is going to be if you do well.

0:23:22 > 0:23:25- What? - Going through to the next round.

0:23:25 > 0:23:26That means a lot to you, does it?

0:23:26 > 0:23:29What was it like when you told your family the news that you were

0:23:29 > 0:23:31through to this round?

0:23:31 > 0:23:33My sister screamed.

0:23:33 > 0:23:36My brothers didn't care, but my parents are very happy for me, so...

0:23:41 > 0:23:44Hoping to stay out of trouble with a showstopping performance...

0:23:44 > 0:23:47..singing Price Tag, it's Miss Chief.

0:23:47 > 0:23:50CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:23:52 > 0:23:56MUSICAL INTRO TO PRICE TAG

0:23:56 > 0:23:59# Seems like everybody's got a price

0:23:59 > 0:24:01# I wonder how they sleep at night

0:24:01 > 0:24:04# When the sale comes first And the truth comes second

0:24:04 > 0:24:06# Just stop for a minute and...

0:24:06 > 0:24:07# Smile

0:24:07 > 0:24:09# Why is everybody so serious?

0:24:09 > 0:24:12# Acting so damn mysterious

0:24:12 > 0:24:15# Got your shades on your eyes And your heels so high

0:24:15 > 0:24:18# That you can't even have a good time

0:24:18 > 0:24:21# Everybody look to their left

0:24:21 > 0:24:23# Everybody look to their right

0:24:23 > 0:24:25# Can you feel that? Yeah!

0:24:25 > 0:24:27# We're paying with love tonight

0:24:27 > 0:24:30# It's not about the money, money, money

0:24:30 > 0:24:32# We don't need your money, money, money

0:24:32 > 0:24:35# We just wanna make the world dance

0:24:35 > 0:24:38# Forget about the price tag

0:24:38 > 0:24:41# Ain't about the uh, cha-ching cha-ching

0:24:41 > 0:24:43# Ain't about the yeah, the bling, the bling

0:24:43 > 0:24:48# Wanna make the world dance Forget about the price tag

0:24:48 > 0:24:51# Yeah, yeah Well, keep the price tag

0:24:51 > 0:24:52# And take the cash back

0:24:52 > 0:24:54# Just give me six strings and a half stack

0:24:54 > 0:24:58# And you can keep the cars Leave me the garage

0:24:58 > 0:25:00# And all I need are keys and guitars

0:25:00 > 0:25:03# And guess what? In 30 seconds, I'm leaping to Mars

0:25:19 > 0:25:22# Tell me about the beat and make everyone sing

0:25:22 > 0:25:24# It's not about the money! #

0:25:26 > 0:25:28CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:25:33 > 0:25:35- That rap was great!- Well done, guys.

0:25:35 > 0:25:37Let's go over to the judges and see what they thought.

0:25:37 > 0:25:39David, what did you think?

0:25:39 > 0:25:44That was full of energy, full of life. I really like the singing.

0:25:44 > 0:25:49I really liked the energy and the attitude of the rapping.

0:25:49 > 0:25:52One of the things that I picked up on on your first round way back

0:25:52 > 0:25:55when you came for the auditions was that

0:25:55 > 0:25:57I couldn't understand what you sang. Your diction wasn't clear.

0:25:57 > 0:26:00Here, there was a real uniformity of diction,

0:26:00 > 0:26:02and it meant that you were really tight.

0:26:02 > 0:26:03So I'm pleased with that, well done.

0:26:03 > 0:26:05You should be pleased with yourself.

0:26:05 > 0:26:07APPLAUSE

0:26:07 > 0:26:09John, do you like Miss Chief's style of performance?

0:26:09 > 0:26:13Yes, this is the Miss Chief I saw in London, the Miss Chief

0:26:13 > 0:26:17we saw at the judges' audition and this is you, in a nutshell -

0:26:17 > 0:26:21attitude, energy, urban - everything was good.

0:26:21 > 0:26:24You'd give Jessie J a run for her money, for sure, after that one.

0:26:24 > 0:26:25Well done.

0:26:25 > 0:26:26APPLAUSE

0:26:26 > 0:26:29Cisco, what did you think of the vocals there?

0:26:29 > 0:26:32I think you have to be careful with your breathing techniques.

0:26:32 > 0:26:33If you're not singing from your diaphragm,

0:26:33 > 0:26:35you won't get a good sound.

0:26:35 > 0:26:38And you guys looked and sounded out of breath.

0:26:38 > 0:26:41I think that, collectively, I wanted to enjoy it more.

0:26:42 > 0:26:45But the two first raps saved your performance.

0:26:45 > 0:26:48I thought that's the energy that I want to see.

0:26:48 > 0:26:50So I think you guys have to really go back and see,

0:26:50 > 0:26:54what are my strengths, what are my weaknesses? And just play on that.

0:26:54 > 0:26:56Because it was a bit shaky, if I was completely honest.

0:26:56 > 0:26:59Carrie, what did you like about that performance?

0:26:59 > 0:27:03I love your energy. I love the urban feel of what you do.

0:27:03 > 0:27:06First girl rapper, that's Sade, isn't it? Absolutely amazing.

0:27:06 > 0:27:09For me, I would have just let you rap all the way through,

0:27:09 > 0:27:13rather than feeling like you've got to hand this much out to this person,

0:27:13 > 0:27:14this much out to that person.

0:27:14 > 0:27:17Rapping is your thing, so therefore, let you do the rapping.

0:27:17 > 0:27:20Everybody else can then really concentrate on their singing.

0:27:20 > 0:27:23But for me, I loved the performance. it had loads of energy. Brilliant.

0:27:23 > 0:27:25Thank you very much, judges.

0:27:25 > 0:27:28- Nice work, gang.- Well done. Give it up for Miss Chief.

0:27:28 > 0:27:30APPLAUSE

0:27:34 > 0:27:38Aw, look how happy they sound. Miss Chief, come and join me. How was it?

0:27:38 > 0:27:41- ALL: Great. - You're feeling great, are you?

0:27:41 > 0:27:45Carrie, David, John, all thought you had lovely energy, well done.

0:27:45 > 0:27:47You took it to the stage.

0:27:47 > 0:27:49But Cisco, he's being a bit harsh today, isn't he?

0:27:49 > 0:27:52So, he said you looked and sounded a bit out of breath.

0:27:52 > 0:27:54What do you want to say to him?

0:27:54 > 0:27:57We understand, because it is a big thing to know

0:27:57 > 0:28:01when your breath is meant to come in,

0:28:01 > 0:28:04but it is something you have to learn from your mistakes.

0:28:04 > 0:28:08Do you think you've done enough to get through to the next round?

0:28:08 > 0:28:12- Hopefully.- Everyone's hopeful. Keep your fingers crossed, you lot.

0:28:12 > 0:28:15- Have you enjoyed your performances? - ALL: Yes!

0:28:15 > 0:28:18Well, that's good to know. So let's rejoin Sam and Mark.

0:28:18 > 0:28:21Our next act is from Grimsby in north-east Lincolnshire.

0:28:21 > 0:28:23Let's take a look at Inferno

0:28:23 > 0:28:26and their amazing journey to the studio heats.

0:28:27 > 0:28:29- What's the name of the group? - ALL: Inferno.

0:28:29 > 0:28:32Is that cos you're on fire?

0:28:32 > 0:28:34Inferno were like a ball of energy

0:28:34 > 0:28:37when they performed for the first time in Manchester.

0:28:37 > 0:28:40# Nobody else has got to put it right for me

0:28:40 > 0:28:42# Nobody but me is gonna change my story... #

0:28:42 > 0:28:46And Inferno continued to light up the stage at the judges' auditions

0:28:46 > 0:28:47in Glasgow.

0:28:47 > 0:28:52What that song required was attack and energy and attitude,

0:28:52 > 0:28:57and it had to be tongue-in-cheek, and you hit it perfectly.

0:28:57 > 0:29:00I loved it. I thought you had great energy,

0:29:00 > 0:29:03and your facial expressions are just wonderful.

0:29:04 > 0:29:09- So all those faces that you've been working on paid off then?- ALL: YEAH!

0:29:09 > 0:29:13The fourth group going through to the Studio Heats is...

0:29:13 > 0:29:14Inferno.

0:29:14 > 0:29:16THEY SCREAM

0:29:17 > 0:29:19But are Inferno confident they can leave the judges

0:29:19 > 0:29:23with a smile on their faces in the Studio Heats?

0:29:23 > 0:29:25- Anything you're very nervous about?- No.

0:29:25 > 0:29:28No. That was a very confident no.

0:29:28 > 0:29:31Do you think you're better than the other groups here today?

0:29:31 > 0:29:34- I think we're all on a par, to be honest.- On a par?

0:29:34 > 0:29:37So how are the judges going to make the decision between you all?

0:29:37 > 0:29:40I think it depends on the amount of effort we all put in, to be honest.

0:29:40 > 0:29:43- Got to think positive. - Knock them dead.

0:29:44 > 0:29:47- Fingers crossed.- Yeah.

0:29:47 > 0:29:48CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:30:04 > 0:30:06# It's the hard-knock life for us

0:30:06 > 0:30:08# It's the hard-knock life for us

0:30:08 > 0:30:10# 'Steada treated

0:30:10 > 0:30:11# We get tricked

0:30:11 > 0:30:12# 'Steada kisses

0:30:12 > 0:30:13# We get kicked

0:30:13 > 0:30:15# Got no folks to speak of, so,

0:30:15 > 0:30:17# It's the hard-knock row we hoe

0:30:17 > 0:30:19# Cotton blankets...'steada wool

0:30:19 > 0:30:22# Empty bellies...'steada full

0:30:22 > 0:30:24# It's the hard-knock life

0:30:24 > 0:30:27# Don't if feel like the wind is always howling?

0:30:27 > 0:30:29# Don't it seem like there's never any light?

0:30:29 > 0:30:31# Once a day, don't you wanna throw the towel in?

0:30:31 > 0:30:33# It's easier than puttin' up a fight

0:30:33 > 0:30:36# No-one's there when your dreams at night get creepy

0:30:36 > 0:30:38# No-one cares if you grow or if you shrink

0:30:38 > 0:30:40# No-one cries when your eyes get wet and weepy

0:30:40 > 0:30:43# From the cryin' you would think this place would sink

0:30:43 > 0:30:44# Oh

0:30:44 > 0:30:46# It's the hard-knock life for us

0:30:46 > 0:30:48# It's the hard-knock life for us

0:30:48 > 0:30:51# No-one cares for you a smidge

0:30:51 > 0:30:53# When you're in an orphanage

0:30:53 > 0:30:55# Santa Claus we never see

0:30:55 > 0:30:57- # Santa Claus what's that?- Who's he?

0:30:57 > 0:31:00# No-one cares for you a smidge

0:31:00 > 0:31:02# When you're in an orphanage

0:31:02 > 0:31:04# Get to work

0:31:04 > 0:31:06# Make the bed

0:31:06 > 0:31:12# Polish my shoes and I mean start now

0:31:12 > 0:31:13# It's the hard-knock life for us

0:31:13 > 0:31:15# It's the hard-knock life for us

0:31:15 > 0:31:17# No-one cares for you a smidge

0:31:17 > 0:31:20# When your in an orphanage

0:31:20 > 0:31:22# It's the hard-knock life

0:31:23 > 0:31:27# It's the hard-knock life. #

0:31:28 > 0:31:30CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:31:35 > 0:31:39- Well done, guys.- John, what did you think of that performance?

0:31:39 > 0:31:42I think this is where Inferno come into their own.

0:31:42 > 0:31:44You girls really own musical theatre.

0:31:44 > 0:31:47That was focused, that was energised,

0:31:47 > 0:31:49that was very professional

0:31:49 > 0:31:52and I don't think, at all, it lost any energy from start to finish,

0:31:52 > 0:31:53so well done.

0:31:53 > 0:31:55APPLAUSE

0:31:55 > 0:31:58- Sisco, was that a good song choice?- It was.

0:31:58 > 0:32:00You guys are musical theatre-based

0:32:00 > 0:32:02and you played to your strengths, which is good to see,

0:32:02 > 0:32:05because we are always saying play to your strengths and you guys did.

0:32:05 > 0:32:09It sounded great. I loved the arrangement with the choreography.

0:32:09 > 0:32:12It looked very polished, which is what I want to see. So, great job.

0:32:14 > 0:32:17- Carrie, were you impressed with Inferno?- Really impressed.

0:32:17 > 0:32:20I felt you guys were totally in your comfort zone,

0:32:20 > 0:32:22everybody on the stage acting.

0:32:22 > 0:32:25And actually the squeaky singing I talked about earlier

0:32:25 > 0:32:27works for this kind of song.

0:32:27 > 0:32:30Your challenge is what to do when it's not this kind of song?

0:32:30 > 0:32:32Cos this is totally where you sit.

0:32:33 > 0:32:35ALL: Thank you. David, finally your thoughts, please.

0:32:35 > 0:32:37It's not squeaky, it's bright.

0:32:39 > 0:32:43- We will disagree on that. - Lots of acting through the song.

0:32:43 > 0:32:45The dancing was really excellent,

0:32:45 > 0:32:47particularly your dancing at the end. I really loved that.

0:32:47 > 0:32:49You did a show rather than giving us a song.

0:32:49 > 0:32:52And it was very, very, very rehearsed.

0:32:52 > 0:32:53Thank you very much, judges.

0:32:55 > 0:32:57Well done, guys. Please give it up for Inferno.

0:32:57 > 0:32:59CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:33:05 > 0:33:08- That's a good way to come running in. Are you happy?- ALL: Yes!

0:33:08 > 0:33:11- Turning up the heat there, Inferno?- ALL: Yes!

0:33:11 > 0:33:14So, you had some really positive comments,

0:33:14 > 0:33:15didn't you, from all the judges?

0:33:15 > 0:33:17What do you feel about that performance?

0:33:17 > 0:33:20I think we're more suited to this song than the last one,

0:33:20 > 0:33:22because we're more musical theatre.

0:33:22 > 0:33:25And, Saskia, I need to ask you, did all the moves come off

0:33:25 > 0:33:27- according to plan?- Yeah, they did.

0:33:27 > 0:33:30- Can you teach me how to do that flip later on?- Yeah!

0:33:30 > 0:33:32I'd quite like to learn that.

0:33:32 > 0:33:35Well done, you lot. It's time to hand back to the boys.

0:33:35 > 0:33:38Thanks, Naomi. Our last act is from Milton Keynes.

0:33:38 > 0:33:43Did you know that an anagram of Milton Keynes is Listen Monkey?

0:33:44 > 0:33:46OK. Let's meet Unity 7.

0:33:50 > 0:33:52What you laughing at?

0:33:53 > 0:33:57Unity 7 were in fine voice when they first performed in London.

0:33:59 > 0:34:02I really, really enjoyed that. I liked it a lot.

0:34:02 > 0:34:05And after meeting John, they were full of confidence going into

0:34:05 > 0:34:07the Judge's Auditions in Glasgow.

0:34:07 > 0:34:09# Shake it out Shake it out

0:34:09 > 0:34:11# Shake it out Shake it out

0:34:11 > 0:34:12# Whoa

0:34:12 > 0:34:13# Shake it out Shake it out

0:34:13 > 0:34:15# Shake it out Shake it out

0:34:15 > 0:34:17# Whoa. #

0:34:17 > 0:34:19The panel felt there was one specific area

0:34:19 > 0:34:21where Unity 7 could improve.

0:34:22 > 0:34:26You know what I loved about you guys as a group is that the song

0:34:26 > 0:34:29you picked and the choreography you did told a story.

0:34:30 > 0:34:33And it made me feel what you were doing, which was lovely.

0:34:33 > 0:34:38But what I felt also was you lacked a slight bit of confidence.

0:34:38 > 0:34:41- Do you think you're good?- ALL: Yes.

0:34:41 > 0:34:44I want you to show that more when you perform.

0:34:44 > 0:34:46I do think we did it to the best we can do.

0:34:46 > 0:34:48If we could get through to the next round

0:34:48 > 0:34:51we would definitely take those points on board.

0:34:51 > 0:34:54Unity 7, I'm afraid you're not going through,

0:34:54 > 0:34:56but well done for getting this far.

0:35:00 > 0:35:01But their story didn't end there.

0:35:01 > 0:35:04One of the groups was no longer able to continue in the competition

0:35:04 > 0:35:07and so the judges decided that Unity 7

0:35:07 > 0:35:09should take their place in the Studio Heats.

0:35:11 > 0:35:14- How have the rehearsals been going?- Good.

0:35:14 > 0:35:16Do you feel prepared for today?

0:35:16 > 0:35:17Yeah.

0:35:17 > 0:35:20We've got a studio audience arriving, as we speak.

0:35:20 > 0:35:24- Does that add to the pressure? - It makes it more exciting.

0:35:25 > 0:35:29After being handed a second chance, can Unity 7 find

0:35:29 > 0:35:32the confidence they need to succeed on stage in front of the judges?

0:35:35 > 0:35:37They are our last act to perform

0:35:37 > 0:35:40and they are hoping to add some valuable points to their score.

0:35:40 > 0:35:42Singing and dancing for a place in the live finals,

0:35:42 > 0:35:44it's Unity 7 and Love Story.

0:35:44 > 0:35:47CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:35:53 > 0:35:56# We were both young when I first saw you

0:35:57 > 0:36:00# I close my eyes and the flashback starts

0:36:00 > 0:36:03# I'm standing there

0:36:03 > 0:36:06# On a balcony in summer air

0:36:09 > 0:36:12# See the lights, see the party, the ball gowns

0:36:12 > 0:36:16# See you make your way through the crowd

0:36:16 > 0:36:19# And say, Hello

0:36:20 > 0:36:24# Little did I know

0:36:24 > 0:36:28# That you were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles

0:36:28 > 0:36:32# And my daddy said, "Stay away from Juliet"

0:36:32 > 0:36:34# But you were everything to me

0:36:34 > 0:36:39# I was begging you please don't go

0:36:39 > 0:36:41# And I said

0:36:41 > 0:36:45# Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone

0:36:45 > 0:36:49# I'll be waiting, all that's left to do is run

0:36:49 > 0:36:53# You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess

0:36:53 > 0:36:57# It's a love story, baby, just say...

0:36:57 > 0:37:01# Marry me, Juliet, you'll never have to be alone

0:37:01 > 0:37:05# I love you and that's all I really know

0:37:05 > 0:37:09# I talked to your dad, go pick out a white dress

0:37:09 > 0:37:13# It's a love story, baby, just say...

0:37:13 > 0:37:18# We were both young when I first saw you. #

0:37:19 > 0:37:21CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:37:26 > 0:37:29- Well done, guy. Nice work.- Sisco, did you like that performance?

0:37:29 > 0:37:32I thought it was an extremely clever arrangement,

0:37:32 > 0:37:33choreographically, what you did.

0:37:33 > 0:37:37I think it's very hard to understand choreography in a show like this,

0:37:37 > 0:37:42because the vocals are the priority, but you guys had an amazing blend.

0:37:42 > 0:37:45It was so clear to see what the story was. The staging was great.

0:37:45 > 0:37:49The only critique is I felt, when we started getting to the chorus,

0:37:49 > 0:37:51we lost the fullness of the vocals.

0:37:51 > 0:37:55- You know, there's nine of you, eight of you up there...- Seven.

0:37:55 > 0:37:58- Seven, I can't count.- Unity 7.

0:38:01 > 0:38:04Oh, gosh. I fell into that one.

0:38:05 > 0:38:08In all seriousness, it's like, when it got to the chorus

0:38:08 > 0:38:11there's, like, three of you. Do you know what I mean?

0:38:11 > 0:38:13Is it because you were dancing or the nerves?

0:38:13 > 0:38:15But you guys have to make sure you

0:38:15 > 0:38:19keep the consistency of your vocals, because the dancing was on point.

0:38:19 > 0:38:20Thanks, Cisco.

0:38:22 > 0:38:24Carrie, your thoughts?

0:38:24 > 0:38:27I thought it was a brilliant performance to begin with,

0:38:27 > 0:38:29beautifully blended, lovely vocals.

0:38:29 > 0:38:32The more ambitious the vocals got, the thinner it sounded.

0:38:32 > 0:38:34And that's something you need to look at

0:38:34 > 0:38:37when you're walking around the stage. Kind of stomping.

0:38:37 > 0:38:39And there's only one person and one harmony, you start losing

0:38:39 > 0:38:42some of those harmonies and they sound a bit wobbly.

0:38:42 > 0:38:45So, it was a bit wobbly by the end, but the first half was lovely.

0:38:45 > 0:38:47David, was that the right song choice for Unity 7?

0:38:47 > 0:38:50I think it was a great song choice, because it gave them

0:38:50 > 0:38:52the opportunity to show their acting and the whole performance.

0:38:52 > 0:38:55One of the things about a glee club performing is it's not

0:38:55 > 0:38:59just standing there. You actually made it like a little tableau.

0:38:59 > 0:39:02You told a story with the song.

0:39:02 > 0:39:04David, isn't it? "David's not going to sing."

0:39:04 > 0:39:07Then you started singing and it was well worth the wait.

0:39:07 > 0:39:08I think what they're saying is right -

0:39:08 > 0:39:13make sure in the story you keep that uniformity of blend and sound

0:39:13 > 0:39:16and quality and the fatness of the sound.

0:39:16 > 0:39:19Because when you're singing at your best, it's a great sound.

0:39:21 > 0:39:26- And finally, John?- You guys have a wonderful, wonderful sound.

0:39:26 > 0:39:29It's the blend and you're very anthemic.

0:39:29 > 0:39:33I could hear your song on the theme of a movie. It's quite fantastic.

0:39:33 > 0:39:37Your opening solo, young lady, fantastic. Very, very good.

0:39:37 > 0:39:39And there are seven of you.

0:39:41 > 0:39:45Thank you very much, judges. Give it up one more time for Unity 7.

0:39:45 > 0:39:47CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

0:39:54 > 0:39:59It's all over. It's all over. Phew! Excited.

0:39:59 > 0:40:02Gosh, they said some lovely things to you lot, didn't they?

0:40:02 > 0:40:05They were saying you chose a good song, lovely arrangement,

0:40:05 > 0:40:08dancing was on point, said Sisco.

0:40:08 > 0:40:10But they all said the same thing about it -

0:40:10 > 0:40:13kind of, thinning out in the middle, maybe having a few wobbly moments.

0:40:13 > 0:40:17- Do you think that was right? - Yeah, we've been given that before.

0:40:17 > 0:40:21- Have you?- Yeah. I think that's what we need to work on,

0:40:21 > 0:40:23trying to blend the choreography with the singing,

0:40:23 > 0:40:26but I think, overall, I was really happy with it.

0:40:26 > 0:40:29Let's see if you've done enough. Not long until we find out.

0:40:29 > 0:40:32Fingers crossed. Back to you boys in the studio.

0:40:32 > 0:40:34OK, so there you have it.

0:40:34 > 0:40:36All three acts have now performed and can do no more.

0:40:36 > 0:40:39While we check and verify the final scores and you wait to find out

0:40:39 > 0:40:40if your favourite has won,

0:40:40 > 0:40:43here's a quick reminder of those fantastic performances.
