0:03:13 > 0:03:20- Emili the shadow had heard that - Emili the girl was visiting Popi.
0:03:20 > 0:03:25- This meant that Emili the shadow - would see Popi the shadow...

0:03:27 > 0:03:32- They'd spend their day talking - and playing with their shadow toys.

0:04:15 > 0:04:18- He wasn't going out - to play in the sunshine.

0:04:20 > 0:04:24- If he went out, - he'd sit under a tree...
0:04:24 > 0:04:27- ..watching the other shadows - having fun.
0:04:28 > 0:04:34- "Come on, Alffi," the other shadows - would shout, "Come and play with us.
0:04:34 > 0:04:39- "It's a lovely sunny day - - perfect for all kinds of shadows."
0:04:40 > 0:04:44- But Alffi would just sit down - and grab his knees.
0:04:45 > 0:04:48- He wanted to join in so much...
0:04:48 > 0:04:49- ..but he couldn't.
0:04:52 > 0:04:54- There was good reason for this.
0:04:55 > 0:04:59- Alffi the shadow - didn't have Alffi the boy.

0:05:08 > 0:05:12- Alffi was sad but he enjoyed - listening to the stories...
0:05:12 > 0:05:16- ..about the fun the other shadows - had with their people.

0:05:20 > 0:05:22- Not until he had Alffi the boy.
0:05:30 > 0:05:34- "He must be out there somewhere," - said Dewi the shadow one day.
0:05:35 > 0:05:39- "I don't think so - or I would have seen him by now."
0:05:40 > 0:05:45- "Why don't you go and look for him?" - said Emili.
0:05:45 > 0:05:48- "Maybe you should go to him."
0:05:48 > 0:05:51- "That sounds easy," said Alffi.

0:05:54 > 0:05:57- "Even if Alffi the boy - is out there...

0:06:14 > 0:06:17- "I don't know how to have fun."
0:06:17 > 0:06:22- "Look, why don't you join us - in the sun tomorrow?
0:06:22 > 0:06:26- "Come on, try it." - said Dewi the shadow.
0:06:27 > 0:06:29- "Maybe," replied Alffi.
0:06:29 > 0:06:35- But, deep down, he didn't think - he'd ever go out in the sun.
0:06:36 > 0:06:38- He was too sad.
0:06:57 > 0:07:00- Well, - the sun rose the following day.
0:07:01 > 0:07:05- Up over the hills, filling the world - with its golden glow.
0:07:06 > 0:07:10- Gari, Emili and Dewi the shadows - were ready for it.
0:07:10 > 0:07:15- But, as they stepped - into the sunshine, Gari said...
0:07:15 > 0:07:17- .."Hey, what about Alffi?
0:07:17 > 0:07:23- "Our people are all going to - the park today for a school picnic.
0:07:23 > 0:07:26- "There'll be plenty - of shadows there.
0:07:26 > 0:07:30- "No-one will notice Alffi - without his boy.
0:07:30 > 0:07:32- "We'll go and fetch him."
0:07:36 > 0:07:40- Emili and Dewi thought this - was an excellent idea.
0:07:40 > 0:07:42- They went to search for Alffi.
0:07:42 > 0:07:48- Alffi the shadow was heading towards - the leafy tree to sit under it.
0:07:49 > 0:07:53- "No excuses," said Emili, - "Up you come and stay close to us.
0:07:53 > 0:07:57- "We're going to the school picnic - in the park."
0:07:58 > 0:08:00- Alffi the shadow sighed.
0:08:01 > 0:08:07- Under protest, he joined - Emili, Gari and Dewi the shadows.
0:08:07 > 0:08:12- They followed Emili the girl - and Dewi and Gari the boys.
0:08:12 > 0:08:16- Alffi hid under Emili's big bag.
0:08:16 > 0:08:18- Off they went towards the park.
0:08:42 > 0:08:44- When they reached the park...
0:08:45 > 0:08:49- ..there were shadows everywhere - with their happy people.
0:08:49 > 0:08:53- Their laughter and chatter - filled the air.
0:08:53 > 0:08:59- But one little boy - sat alone under a tree...

0:09:02 > 0:09:05- He looked sad and downhearted.
0:09:06 > 0:09:11- Then, Alffi the shadow - heard Gari the boy shouting.
0:09:11 > 0:09:17- "Come on, Alffi boy, come and play - rounders. You'll love it."
0:09:17 > 0:09:21- "No, it's OK," - replied the little boy.
0:09:22 > 0:09:24- Alffi boy?
0:09:25 > 0:09:29- Could this be Alffi the boy?
0:09:33 > 0:09:39- Alffi the shadow ran as fast as he - could to join Dewi, Emili and Gari.
0:09:39 > 0:09:42- Puffing away, he said...
0:09:44 > 0:09:46- .."It's him. I've...
0:09:47 > 0:09:50- "Phew. I've found Alffi the boy."
0:09:51 > 0:09:57- "What?" said Gari. "Incredible. - Go and join him quickly.
0:09:57 > 0:09:59- "Where is he?"
0:09:59 > 0:10:02- "Under the tree," - said Alffi the shadow.
0:10:02 > 0:10:05- "Right, come on," - said Gari the shadow.
0:10:05 > 0:10:07- He dragged Gari the boy with him.
0:10:13 > 0:10:15- When they reached - the sad little boy...
0:10:15 > 0:10:18- ..Gari nudged Alffi the shadow.
0:10:18 > 0:10:24- Slowly, Alffi attached himself - carefully to Alffi the boy.
0:10:24 > 0:10:28- As soon as he'd done that, - Alffi the boy stood up...
0:10:28 > 0:10:33- ..and for the first time ever, - he stepped into the sunshine.
0:10:45 > 0:10:49- Alffi the boy - and Alffi the shadow...
0:10:49 > 0:10:52- ..felt the warm rays from the sun.
0:10:59 > 0:11:01- Alffi said happily...
