0:01:02 > 0:01:05- She knew every animal, - insect and bird...
0:01:05 > 0:01:08- ..and she was even friends - with some of the plants.

0:01:17 > 0:01:21- If you've never woken up - in Mrs Mwnci's tree...
0:01:21 > 0:01:22- ..you're missing out!
0:01:23 > 0:01:27- You can see waterfalls, tall trees, - bright flowers and an egg.
0:01:30 > 0:01:32- Just a minute! An egg?
0:01:34 > 0:01:38- Mrs Mwnci saw something she'd never - seen before - a huge egg!
0:01:38 > 0:01:42- The strange egg - was red, blue and orange.
0:01:49 > 0:01:52- "Well! This is really strange," - thought Mrs Mwnci.
0:01:53 > 0:01:54- "I wonder whom or what...
0:01:55 > 0:01:59- ..could have left such a strange egg - all alone, in the jungle."
0:01:59 > 0:02:01- "I wonder what's inside it."
0:02:02 > 0:02:03- She grabbed a vine...
0:02:04 > 0:02:08- ..and she swung down - to the forest floor to investigate.
0:02:15 > 0:02:19- By the time she reached the glade - where the egg sat...
0:02:19 > 0:02:21- ..a crowd had started to gather.
0:02:21 > 0:02:24- There was an elephant there - and a snake too.
0:02:24 > 0:02:28- A hippo was walking slowly - towards the egg.
0:02:28 > 0:02:31- Some birds had been - in the trees for a while...
0:02:31 > 0:02:34- ..partly because they were nosey...
0:02:34 > 0:02:38- ..and partly because they - didn't like the look of the lion...
0:02:38 > 0:02:40- ..who was staring at them.
0:02:56 > 0:02:58- Nobody knew what was in the egg.
0:02:59 > 0:03:00- The elephant spoke first.
0:03:02 > 0:03:05- "I have an idea!" - she said confidently.
0:03:07 > 0:03:10- "That's a big egg, - and I'd say it's elephant-sized."
0:03:11 > 0:03:15- "It's colourful too, - so it must be an eleparrot."
0:03:21 > 0:03:25- "An eleparrot? What on earth - is an eleparrot?" asked Mrs Mwnci.
0:03:28 > 0:03:33- "It's half elephant, half parrot," - explained the elephant.
0:03:34 > 0:03:38- "It's almost as big as an elephant - but it's covered in feathers...
0:03:39 > 0:03:42- ..and it has the wings and tail - of a parrot."
0:03:42 > 0:03:45- "It has claws too, - so it can sit in trees."
0:03:45 > 0:03:48- "It really is a beautiful creature."
0:03:57 > 0:04:01- "What s-s-sort of tree would it - s-s-sit in?" hissed the snake.
0:04:04 > 0:04:07- "Quite a big tree," - replied the elephant.
0:04:07 > 0:04:09- "It eats monkey nuts and bananas."
0:04:09 > 0:04:14- "When it flies through the jungle, - it trumpets loudly and clearly."
0:04:15 > 0:04:18- "It can fly above the clouds - with its huge wings."
0:04:22 > 0:04:25- "That's not an eleparrot egg," - said the hippo...
0:04:25 > 0:04:30- ..who'd finally arrived in the glade - and was slightly out of breath.
0:04:30 > 0:04:33- "It's got to be a hippameleon."
0:04:34 > 0:04:36- "Right!" said Mrs Mwnci.
0:04:36 > 0:04:39- "Please tell us - what a hippameleon is, hippo!"
0:04:45 > 0:04:50- "The hippameleon is half hippo, - half chameleon," replied the hippo.
0:04:50 > 0:04:53- "It has the head and body - of a hippo...
0:04:53 > 0:04:56- ..but it can change colour, - like a chameleon."
0:05:03 > 0:05:07- "I've never seen one of those," - said a ruddy-cheeked cockatiel.
0:05:09 > 0:05:14- "That's because they're so good at - changing colour to hide themselves."
0:05:15 > 0:05:19- "They pick fruit from trees - with their long, sticky tongues.
0:05:19 > 0:05:23- "They love mud. - Every amazing creature loves mud!"
0:05:24 > 0:05:27- "That's true," said the elephant.
0:05:28 > 0:05:32- "There isn't a hippameleon - inside that egg," said the giraffe.
0:05:32 > 0:05:34- "I know what's in it."
0:05:35 > 0:05:38- "Do you really?" said Mrs Mwnci, - rolling her eyes.
0:05:39 > 0:05:44- "Yes! Anyone with an ounce of common - sense knows what's in the egg."
0:05:47 > 0:05:51- "It's a girark," said the giraffe.
0:05:54 > 0:05:56- "What?" said the others.
0:05:57 > 0:06:02- "The girark has a giraffe's body and - a shark's head," said the giraffe.
0:06:02 > 0:06:07- "There's a huge fin on its back - and it eats whatever it wants!"
0:06:07 > 0:06:11- "Hippameleons and eleparrots - are its favourites."
0:06:11 > 0:06:16- "Is there really such a thing - as a girark?" asked the hippo.
0:06:16 > 0:06:20- He was worried - because he wasn't quick on his feet.
0:06:20 > 0:06:22- "Yes-s-s," said the snake.
0:06:23 > 0:06:25- "I've seen hundreds of them."
0:06:25 > 0:06:28- "They only come out - when it's raining...
0:06:28 > 0:06:30- ..and they can run like the wind."
0:06:32 > 0:06:37- "Wow!" said the other animals, - as they stared at the egg.
0:06:37 > 0:06:41- "It's definitely an eleparrot!" - said the elephant.
0:06:42 > 0:06:45- "No! It's a hippameleon," - said the hippo.
0:06:46 > 0:06:50- "It's obviously a girark," - sighed the giraffe.
0:06:51 > 0:06:55- The animals started to bicker - about what was in the egg.
0:06:56 > 0:07:01- Some of them sided with the hippo - and some sided with the elephant...
0:07:01 > 0:07:04- ..but very few animals - sided with the giraffe.
0:07:04 > 0:07:06- I don't blame them either.
0:07:07 > 0:07:11- The idea of a giraffe with - a shark's head is a bit frightening!
0:07:26 > 0:07:28- "Excuse me," said Mrs Mwnci.
0:07:28 > 0:07:31- "I think I know what's in the egg."
0:07:31 > 0:07:36- "Having listened to everyone's ideas - and having examined the egg...
0:07:36 > 0:07:39- ..I think I have the answer - to this big question."
0:07:42 > 0:07:45- "Then tell us what it is," - said the lion.
0:07:47 > 0:07:50- "You've lived here - longer than most of us."
0:07:50 > 0:07:53- "If anyone knows, - that's going to be you."
0:07:54 > 0:07:59- "Well, I'm not certain - but I think it's a gorritterfly."
0:08:01 > 0:08:04- "Hmm! I wasn't expecting that," - said the lion.
0:08:05 > 0:08:06- "What is a goritterfly?"
0:08:07 > 0:08:09- "Please tell us!"
0:08:13 > 0:08:17- "A gorritterfly - looks like a gorilla...
0:08:17 > 0:08:21- ..but it has beautiful, - butterfly wings," said Mrs Mwnci.
0:08:24 > 0:08:29- "The gorritterfly flies around - collecting nectar from flowers...
0:08:29 > 0:08:31- ..and eating bananas."
0:08:31 > 0:08:33- "It makes its nest - high in the trees."
0:08:34 > 0:08:36- "It starts its life - as a catermonkey...
0:08:37 > 0:08:41- ..then it emerges from a cocoon - as a beautiful gorritterfly."
0:08:53 > 0:08:55- The animals fell silent.
0:08:55 > 0:08:58- Then, the hyenas started to laugh.
0:08:58 > 0:09:02- The elephant joined in - and so did the giraffe...
0:09:02 > 0:09:05- ..until the jungle - was full of laughter.
0:09:11 > 0:09:14- "Oh, you're laughing at me, - are you?"
0:09:14 > 0:09:18- "You believe in flying elephants - and invisible hippos...
0:09:18 > 0:09:23- ..but not in gorillas with - butterfly wings?" said Mrs Mwnci.
0:09:23 > 0:09:26- "That's right, Mrs Mwnci," - said the lion.
0:09:26 > 0:09:31- The lion was the king of the jungle - and he was wise and kind.
0:09:32 > 0:09:36- "We're all sorry for laughing," - roared the lion.
0:09:37 > 0:09:39- Everyone listened to him.
0:09:40 > 0:09:44- "Whatever is in this egg, - we'll soon find out."
0:09:44 > 0:09:49- "One thing's for certain, if we wait - long enough, the shell will split...
0:09:49 > 0:09:52- ..and whatever's inside - will come out."
0:09:52 > 0:09:56- "We'll then finally find out - what's inside the egg."
0:09:57 > 0:10:00- "We must be patient, - my jungle friends."
0:10:06 > 0:10:08- And so, they waited patiently.
0:10:09 > 0:10:12- Day turned to night - and night turned to day...
0:10:12 > 0:10:16- ..and still, - the animals sat around the egg.
0:10:16 > 0:10:20- And then, finally, the egg - started to move one afternoon.
0:10:20 > 0:10:22- It shook, then it wobbled...
0:10:22 > 0:10:25- ..and eventually - crack!
0:10:29 > 0:10:31- "Eleparrot!" said the elephant.
0:10:31 > 0:10:33- "Hippameleon!" said the hippo.
0:10:34 > 0:10:36- "Girark!" shouted the giraffe.
0:10:38 > 0:10:41- Mrs Mwnci and her friends - were very excited...
0:10:42 > 0:10:45- ..and they watched - as the split became wider and wider.
0:10:48 > 0:10:51- They all came closer - and they peeped inside.
