0:05:54 > 0:05:57- Soon, the sun was starting to rise.

0:05:57 > 0:06:01- Sali was about to give up - and go to sleep...

0:06:02 > 0:06:06- ..when a light started to glow - under Sali's bed.

0:06:06 > 0:06:08- As if a door had just opened.

0:06:08 > 0:06:11- The light became brighter - and brighter.

0:06:11 > 0:06:13- That's when Sali saw it.

0:06:17 > 0:06:21- A hairy head popped out from under - the bed and smelt the socks.

0:06:21 > 0:06:26- A huge blue paw picked up the socks - and took them under the bed.

0:06:26 > 0:06:28- Then, it laughed.

0:06:28 > 0:06:32- Whatever was under the bed - was laughing.

0:06:38 > 0:06:40- Sali had to see it.

0:06:40 > 0:06:44- She was a little scared - but she was also very brave.

0:06:44 > 0:06:48- She jumped off the bed, - pulled the blanket back...

0:06:48 > 0:06:51- ..and shone the torch under the bed.

0:06:51 > 0:06:53- What did she see?

0:06:53 > 0:06:58- Well, she saw a creature - with two arms, two hairy legs...

0:07:02 > 0:07:07- "Excuse me," she said angrily. - "What do you think you're doing?"

0:07:24 > 0:07:29- "One sock was enough for me and - thanks for leaving it on the floor.

0:07:31 > 0:07:35- "Where I come from, - socks are a delicacy," he said.

0:07:36 > 0:07:41- "If they're so special, why didn't - you eat two of them?" she asked.

0:07:41 > 0:07:45- "What do you think I am - a monster?

0:07:45 > 0:07:47- "No, no, no, no, no.

0:07:47 > 0:07:51- "We only eat one of every pair."

0:07:51 > 0:07:56- Just then, Sali's father came in - to see what was going on.

0:07:56 > 0:08:00- He couldn't believe his eyes - when he saw what was in the room.

0:08:05 > 0:08:09- Sali told him that the creature - was called Fingal.

0:08:09 > 0:08:11- He was only there to eat socks.

0:08:11 > 0:08:14- Well, one sock from every pair.

0:08:14 > 0:08:17- Dad thought he should tell Mam.

0:08:18 > 0:08:22- Mam screamed and said she had - to see Fingal "with her own eyes."

0:08:23 > 0:08:26- Then she screamed again and fainted.

0:08:26 > 0:08:30- Soon, and after a cup of tea, - she felt much better.

0:08:30 > 0:08:33- After all, Fingal had good manners.

0:08:33 > 0:08:36- He didn't know - that not everyone ate socks.
