0:01:13 > 0:01:16- I'm sure you're trying to work out - how we arrived here.

0:01:18 > 0:01:21- It's a long story. - It's Nain's fault really.

0:01:21 > 0:01:25- Well, no, to be honest, - it's my fault.

0:01:25 > 0:01:28- That is, it's a little bit my fault.

0:01:28 > 0:01:31- It's a little bit Nain's fault too.

0:01:42 > 0:01:46- I was in Nain's house having - a cuppa and some chocolate cake.

0:01:46 > 0:01:49- The postman knocked the front door.

0:01:49 > 0:01:55- Nain answered the door - and returned with a large box.

0:01:56 > 0:02:00- It looked just like - any ordinary box...

0:02:08 > 0:02:14- ..suggested that it had been - sent from somewhere far, far away.

0:02:16 > 0:02:22- "I've been waiting for this parcel - for over 60 years."

0:02:22 > 0:02:26- "Really?" I replied, - "What's in the box, Nain?"

0:02:27 > 0:02:31- "A pair of magic wellington boots," - said Nain.

0:02:33 > 0:02:36- "Very funny, Nain. - Really - what's in the box?"

0:02:37 > 0:02:41- "Don't you believe me?" asked Nain.

0:02:41 > 0:02:43- She had a sly smile on her face.

0:02:44 > 0:02:48- "OK then, let's open the box."

0:02:53 > 0:02:57- Nain pulled the string - and untied the knot.

0:02:58 > 0:03:02- The paper fell away - to reveal the box.

0:03:03 > 0:03:07- Written on the side of the box - were the words...

0:03:07 > 0:03:11- ..One Pair of Magic Wellington Boots - for Nain.

0:03:13 > 0:03:16- "That's me," she said proudly.

0:03:17 > 0:03:19- She opened the door carefully.

0:03:19 > 0:03:24- She pulled out a pair - of wellington boots.

0:03:27 > 0:03:32- "They look like a pair of ordinary - wellington boots, Nain," I said...

0:03:32 > 0:03:34- ..a little disappointedly.

0:03:34 > 0:03:38- "They look like - ordinary wellington boots...

0:03:38 > 0:03:42- "..but they're magical - wellington boots," she replied.

0:03:48 > 0:03:51- She excitedly kicked her slippers - into the air...

0:04:04 > 0:04:08- "I'm going to ask for one - especially for him."

0:04:08 > 0:04:11- Nain wore the wellington boots - and said...

0:04:11 > 0:04:18- .."And now, - I'm asking for a wish to come true.

0:04:19 > 0:04:23- "A wishy-washy wish, - please come true...

0:04:23 > 0:04:26- "..a wish-washy wish - for me and you.

0:04:28 > 0:04:31- "Please can I have a brass band.

0:04:31 > 0:04:33- "And a talking gorilla."

0:04:33 > 0:04:38- "Nain, you never asked - for a talking gorilla!

0:04:38 > 0:04:41- "Here?! In your house?"

0:04:45 > 0:04:50- Just then, the wellington boots - started to glisten.

0:04:50 > 0:04:53- The glistening became a shining.

0:04:53 > 0:04:57- The shining became...

0:04:57 > 0:05:00- ..whoosh!

0:05:03 > 0:05:06- Boom!

0:05:06 > 0:05:08- Then a huge flash.

0:05:10 > 0:05:17- The room filled with the sound of - the best brass band you ever heard.

0:05:19 > 0:05:24- The room had also filled up - with a brass band...

0:05:24 > 0:05:26- ..and all their instruments.

0:05:26 > 0:05:31- And a very, very talkative gorilla.

0:05:31 > 0:05:35- "Excuse me?" asked the gorilla.

0:05:35 > 0:05:40- "Could I have a banana? - I'm starving."

0:05:40 > 0:05:45- "Nain," I said, - "There's no room for a flea in here.

0:05:45 > 0:05:49- "I'm worried that's your next wish!

0:05:49 > 0:05:53- "Can you please - get us all out of here?"

0:05:53 > 0:05:57- "Good idea," agreed the gorilla.

0:06:00 > 0:06:02- Nain shut her eyes tightly.

0:06:03 > 0:06:06- "A wishy-washy wish, - please come true...

0:06:07 > 0:06:09- "..a wish-washy wish - for me and you.

0:06:10 > 0:06:12- "Can we go away on a ship?

0:06:13 > 0:06:16- "A pirate ship."

0:06:16 > 0:06:23- "Nain, no! I can't believe you asked - for that," I said in amazement.

0:06:23 > 0:06:25- But it was too late.

0:06:25 > 0:06:30- The magical wellington boots - had started to glisten.

0:06:30 > 0:06:32- And then...

0:06:34 > 0:06:36- ..boom!

0:06:36 > 0:06:41- We were all aboard - the Royal Fortune...

0:06:41 > 0:06:45- ..a pirate ship - in the middle of the sea.

0:06:45 > 0:06:51- Staring at Nain, the brass band, - the talking gorilla and myself...

0:06:51 > 0:06:56- ..was Black Bart the famous pirate.

0:06:56 > 0:07:00- "Catch them - and make them walk the plank!"

0:07:02 > 0:07:04- He shouted - from the depths of his belly.

0:07:05 > 0:07:09- "Goodness me," I thought, - "Nain's gone too far this time."

0:07:09 > 0:07:13- "Hurry, Nain, - throw the wellington boots to me.

0:07:13 > 0:07:16- "I'll make a wish - so we can all escape to safety."

0:07:20 > 0:07:24- Nain gave me the boots - and I put them on.

0:07:25 > 0:07:31- "Time for us to leave," I said, - "But no mad wishes this time."

0:07:31 > 0:07:35- I said the magic words.

0:07:35 > 0:07:40- "A wishy-washy wish, - please come true...

0:07:40 > 0:07:43- "..a wish-washy wish - for me and you.

0:07:50 > 0:07:52- "Can we go to the summit - of Everest?"

0:07:52 > 0:07:55- Oops. How did that happen?

0:07:55 > 0:07:58- I tried to think - of something sensible...

0:07:58 > 0:08:01- ..but something silly - came out again.

0:08:01 > 0:08:03- Oh, dear.

0:08:03 > 0:08:07- Boom!

0:08:07 > 0:08:10- Myself, Nain, a talking gorilla...

0:08:10 > 0:08:15- ..a brass band, - which were very good by the way...

0:08:15 > 0:08:20- ..a pirate ship - and the pirates themselves...

0:08:20 > 0:08:24- ..were all at the summit - of Everest...

0:08:25 > 0:08:28- ..the world's highest mountain.

0:08:43 > 0:08:48- The ship was trying hard - to keep its balance at the summit.

0:08:48 > 0:08:52- The band stopped playing - and the gorilla roared.

0:08:53 > 0:08:58- "Let's wish for something warm - before we all freeze."

0:08:58 > 0:09:00- So I did.

0:09:00 > 0:09:04- I asked for the one thing - I thought would warm us up.

0:09:05 > 0:09:09- "A wishy-washy wish, - please come true...

0:09:09 > 0:09:12- "..a wish-washy wish - for me and you.

0:09:14 > 0:09:16- "Can I have a dragon?"

0:09:35 > 0:09:37- The dragon warmed us up quickly.

0:09:37 > 0:09:41- Fire shot out of its mouth.

0:09:41 > 0:09:45- It burnt the sail - on the pirate ship.

0:09:45 > 0:09:47- It burnt their beards.

0:09:47 > 0:09:51- The gorilla shuffled up - to the top of the mast...

0:09:51 > 0:09:54- ..and hid in the crow's nest.

0:09:54 > 0:09:57- The band hid behind - their instruments...

0:09:57 > 0:10:01- ..but still played on beautifully.

0:10:01 > 0:10:05- "Nain, no more adventures today, - please," I pleaded.

0:10:10 > 0:10:13- "A wishy-washy wish, - please come true...

0:10:13 > 0:10:16- "..a wish-washy wish - for me and you.

0:10:19 > 0:10:22- "Can we return to the way we were?"

0:10:25 > 0:10:29- Boom.

0:10:29 > 0:10:34- Nain and I were back in the kitchen.

0:10:34 > 0:10:36- All alone.

0:10:36 > 0:10:39- No band. No pirates.

0:10:40 > 0:10:42- No mountain.

0:10:42 > 0:10:44- No talking gorilla.

0:10:44 > 0:10:46- And no dragon!

0:10:47 > 0:10:49- Everything was as it should be.

0:10:49 > 0:10:52- The kettle was whistling - on the fire.

0:10:53 > 0:10:58- "I'll make us a cuppa right now. - And a biscuit would be nice.

0:10:58 > 0:11:00- "A wishy-washy wish..."

0:11:00 > 0:11:04- "No! No, Nain," I said.

0:11:04 > 0:11:06- Next time maybe.
