0:06:23 > 0:06:27- You see, - one of the queens wasn't happy...
0:06:28 > 0:06:32- ..even on the one day of the week - when all the kings and queens...
0:06:32 > 0:06:37- ..were having their wonderful party - on such a monumental day.
0:06:37 > 0:06:40- She was sad and angry.
0:06:40 > 0:06:45- "What's wrong with you, Queen?" - asked one of the kings.
0:06:45 > 0:06:47- She probably had a name...
0:06:48 > 0:06:51- ..but kings and queens - never ask people for their names.
0:06:52 > 0:06:56- They're too important - and rich to do that.
0:06:56 > 0:07:02- "Where I live is too hot," - she complained.
0:07:02 > 0:07:06- "I can't go out during the day - and I can't sleep at night.
0:07:06 > 0:07:08- "Why couldn't it be colder?"
0:07:09 > 0:07:12- "That's nothing," replied the king.
0:07:13 > 0:07:17- "Where I live is cold all day. - It's even colder at night.
0:07:17 > 0:07:22- "I hate living there. I'd like to - live somewhere that's always hot."
0:07:22 > 0:07:26- "You could always move," - said another king.
0:07:26 > 0:07:29- He was listening - while waiting for his jelly.
0:07:30 > 0:07:34- "Move?" replied the king and queen, - "Never."
0:07:34 > 0:07:39- Then they started discussing - why they should never move.
0:07:40 > 0:07:43- The weather should move!
0:07:48 > 0:07:50- Another king joined - the conversation.
0:07:50 > 0:07:52- "I hate mountains."
0:07:53 > 0:07:58- Another queen said, "I don't - like animals with long necks."
0:07:59 > 0:08:02- Another shouted, "It always rains."
0:08:02 > 0:08:07- Soon, everyone was arguing - and complaining.
0:08:07 > 0:08:10- If that wasn't enough, - one king thought...
0:08:10 > 0:08:14- ..this was a great opportunity - for him to have his own way.
0:08:14 > 0:08:19- He shouted, "I think it's time - the island had a name.
0:08:20 > 0:08:25- "It should be named after me - - King Aneurin Wyn Adal V."
0:08:26 > 0:08:30- Well, the place erupted. - What a mess.
0:08:30 > 0:08:36- They all wanted the island - named after themselves.
0:08:36 > 0:08:40- France, America, Spain, Wales.
0:08:42 > 0:08:45- This is when - the silly idea happened.
0:08:46 > 0:08:49- The kings and queens decided...
0:08:49 > 0:08:53- ..that they didn't want - to live on an island...
0:08:53 > 0:08:55- ..with another king or queen.
0:08:55 > 0:08:57- Do you know what they did?
0:08:58 > 0:09:02- They sent a royal message - to the people saying...
0:09:02 > 0:09:04- .."We're moving.
0:09:04 > 0:09:09- "If you want to come, - meet me at the castle at eight."
0:09:11 > 0:09:16- "Move? Where to?" asked the people - who lived on the island.
0:09:17 > 0:09:22- Everyone who liked hot weather - went to one castle.
0:09:23 > 0:09:26- Everyone who liked cold weather - went to another castle.
0:09:26 > 0:09:31- Everyone who liked giraffes - and gorillas went to this castle.
0:09:31 > 0:09:34- Everyone who liked deserts - went to that castle.
0:09:34 > 0:09:38- Soon, all the people were at - the castle they preferred.
0:09:39 > 0:09:42- Then, at the request - of the kings and queens...
0:09:42 > 0:09:45- ..they built a million ships.
0:09:45 > 0:09:51- When they were ready, they sawed - the land around the castle...
0:09:51 > 0:09:55- ..and as they did this, - land broke away from the island.
0:10:02 > 0:10:08- When it started breaking, - they threw ropes around the ships.
0:10:08 > 0:10:12- The ships pulled the small islands - away from each other.
0:10:18 > 0:10:23- The people waved to one another - as the islands were pulled apart.
0:10:23 > 0:10:26- But the kings and queens didn't.
0:10:26 > 0:10:29- They were still angry - with one another.
0:10:34 > 0:10:37- When they were happy - with their position...
0:10:37 > 0:10:41- ..they cut the ropes - and the islands stopped moving.
0:10:49 > 0:10:52- They're still in the same place - to this day.
0:10:54 > 0:10:56- You can see them all on a world map.
0:10:57 > 0:11:00- That's the thing about silly ideas.
0:11:00 > 0:11:03- Sometimes, they work.
0:11:25 > 0:11:25- .
