0:00:30 > 0:00:32OK, so the first thing I'm going to do is tie my hair back
0:00:32 > 0:00:34into a high ponytail.
0:00:34 > 0:00:38Now, you can make this as neat or as scruffy as you like.
0:00:38 > 0:00:40And then secure your ponytail with a hairband.
0:00:43 > 0:00:45If you've got some little wispy bits at the side,
0:00:45 > 0:00:48a neat little trick is to use hairspray.
0:00:48 > 0:00:52Spray it on your comb or your brush...then just comb the sides.
0:00:54 > 0:00:57So the next step is when the sock comes into play.
0:00:57 > 0:00:59So I'm going to use a black one, cos this is closest
0:00:59 > 0:01:01to the colour of my hair, but you can use any sock -
0:01:01 > 0:01:04an odd one, a coloured one, anything that you want.
0:01:04 > 0:01:06So you're going to take your scissors.
0:01:06 > 0:01:08If you're a younger viewer, ask an adult for help.
0:01:08 > 0:01:10And you're going to cut the toe off.
0:01:13 > 0:01:17What you're going to do is roll your sock like this.
0:01:17 > 0:01:21And then it's hopefully going to look like...like a little doughnut shape.
0:01:23 > 0:01:25So the next thing you're going to do is take your sock
0:01:25 > 0:01:32and feed your ponytail through the middle of the sock, like so.
0:01:32 > 0:01:35But you're not going to go all the way down your ponytail -
0:01:35 > 0:01:38you want to leave this much and just put the ends through.
0:01:38 > 0:01:43The next thing I'm going to do is tuck the end underneath...
0:01:43 > 0:01:45the sock, like so.
0:01:45 > 0:01:47And roll.
0:01:49 > 0:01:51And that's it.
0:01:51 > 0:01:54But if you think you missed any of that, here are those steps again.
0:01:54 > 0:01:56Tie your hair into a ponytail.
0:01:56 > 0:01:59Spray a little bit of hairspray onto a brush or a comb.
0:01:59 > 0:02:01Spray it away from your face in a ventilated room.
0:02:01 > 0:02:04And comb the top of your head to smooth down.
0:02:04 > 0:02:07Cut the toe off an old sock and scrunch into a doughnut shape.
0:02:09 > 0:02:11Place over your ponytail and start to roll down,
0:02:11 > 0:02:13folding your hair underneath it as you go.
0:02:13 > 0:02:17Remember - the longer the sock, the thicker the bun will be.
