0:00:02 > 0:00:04Greetings, Babblers. Now, all good things must come to an end -

0:00:04 > 0:00:08a brilliant movie, a good book, a banana, tuna and chutney sandwich,

0:00:08 > 0:00:10and this series of Technobabble.

0:00:10 > 0:00:12So let's go out with a bang!

0:00:28 > 0:00:32Right, let's tickle your tech taste buds with one final

0:00:32 > 0:00:33fix of brilliant Babble.

0:00:33 > 0:00:35Coming up today...

0:00:35 > 0:00:39Marcus and Frankie chew the fat about their favourite future tech.

0:00:39 > 0:00:42This is video chat for your pets!

0:00:42 > 0:00:45Love is in the air as Jake opens his heart to reveal

0:00:45 > 0:00:47his favourite Valentine's apps.

0:00:47 > 0:00:48Come here!

0:00:48 > 0:00:49Mwah!

0:00:49 > 0:00:54And we put your questions to those troublesome twins Niki and Sammy.

0:00:54 > 0:00:55I would definitely be a monkey.

0:00:55 > 0:00:57Yeah, I thought as much.

0:00:57 > 0:01:00But first, here's Ashley to talk games.

0:01:00 > 0:01:01All-time classic games.

0:01:03 > 0:01:07Today I'm going to be telling you about some all-time classic games.

0:01:07 > 0:01:09First off, one of the games I really, really loved to play

0:01:09 > 0:01:12was called Pokemon Sapphire on the Game Boy Advance.

0:01:12 > 0:01:14You basically have to catch Pokemon

0:01:14 > 0:01:18and train them up and fight with them as sport.

0:01:18 > 0:01:21Little tip, as you start levelling up your Pokemon,

0:01:21 > 0:01:23focus on what you want to keep until the end so that when

0:01:23 > 0:01:26you get to the end, that Pokemon is a really, really high level

0:01:26 > 0:01:29so when you go against a boss level,

0:01:29 > 0:01:31you should be able to take them down kind of easy.

0:01:33 > 0:01:36Pac-Man is famous across the world.

0:01:36 > 0:01:39It's an arcade game that was first released in 1980

0:01:39 > 0:01:42and it is known as the icon of arcade games.

0:01:42 > 0:01:45Now, the idea behind this is that you are playing Pac-Man

0:01:45 > 0:01:47and you have to navigate through this maze collecting

0:01:47 > 0:01:49pellets as you're being chased by ghosts.

0:01:49 > 0:01:53Now, my best tip for this is to avoid the red and pink ghosts

0:01:53 > 0:01:58because they are known as the fastest and most skilled ghosts.

0:01:58 > 0:01:59PAC-MAN EATS PELLETS

0:02:01 > 0:02:05Next game is also a well known retro game called Space Invaders.

0:02:05 > 0:02:07The idea of the game is that you are battling aliens

0:02:07 > 0:02:10trying to attack you.

0:02:10 > 0:02:12As they get further down on the level,

0:02:12 > 0:02:15they get harder and faster to kill.

0:02:15 > 0:02:17The best tip I have for this is to start at the bottom

0:02:17 > 0:02:20and make your way up so it's easier and you have a lot more time

0:02:20 > 0:02:23to kill them all before they get to the bottom.

0:02:23 > 0:02:24LASER FIRE

0:02:24 > 0:02:27I will catch you guys next time.

0:02:27 > 0:02:28Goodbye.

0:02:28 > 0:02:29Thank you, Ashley.

0:02:29 > 0:02:32I like to think that one day Technobabble will be

0:02:32 > 0:02:33regarded as a classic.

0:02:33 > 0:02:36I mean, we've got a handsome host, witty jokes,

0:02:36 > 0:02:40oh, yeah, and a catchily-named social media app.

0:02:40 > 0:02:42What are we going with this week?

0:02:42 > 0:02:43Instablab.

0:02:43 > 0:02:46You know what? I kind of like it.

0:02:46 > 0:02:49Come on, Instablab, message me right up.

0:02:49 > 0:02:53Right, Vlogster, forget the Babblers, they ask enough questions.

0:02:53 > 0:02:56I love tech - don't...don't call me a...a geek -

0:02:56 > 0:03:02and I want to know what's got Marcus and Frankie excited right now.

0:03:02 > 0:03:05Time for something a bit different, then, on Technobabble.

0:03:05 > 0:03:08Let's see what kind of double act my two boys make.

0:03:09 > 0:03:12Welcome to Technobabble.

0:03:12 > 0:03:16I'm the Vlogster and I think I'm really funny.

0:03:16 > 0:03:17Do it again, do it again.

0:03:17 > 0:03:19I do the jokes, Frankie.

0:03:19 > 0:03:21I also do the bottom burps.

0:03:21 > 0:03:22HE BLOWS RASPBERRIES

0:03:22 > 0:03:23FRANKIE LAUGHS

0:03:23 > 0:03:25OK, OK, OK, my turn, my turn.

0:03:25 > 0:03:27I think you'll find it's my turn, children!

0:03:28 > 0:03:30Vlogster, we were just...erm...

0:03:30 > 0:03:33I could see what you were JUST, Marcus Bronzy,

0:03:33 > 0:03:36and I am definitely not impressed!

0:03:36 > 0:03:38But... You know what they say, Vlogster,

0:03:38 > 0:03:41imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

0:03:41 > 0:03:44I'll give you flattery, Frankie! In clumps!

0:03:44 > 0:03:49But I also have a massive ego, so all attention is very welcome.

0:03:49 > 0:03:51Right, time to get your thinking caps on, lads,

0:03:51 > 0:03:55to give us your take on the tech that's totally top of the tree.

0:03:55 > 0:03:57Think you can manage that?

0:03:57 > 0:03:58BOTH: You betcha!

0:04:02 > 0:04:05I'm sending Marcus and Frankie off to, well,

0:04:05 > 0:04:07the other side of the room.

0:04:07 > 0:04:10They're going to be showing us some of the most exciting bits

0:04:10 > 0:04:12of tech coming our way in the near future.

0:04:12 > 0:04:15All right, Mr Bronzy, Bronzo!

0:04:15 > 0:04:17Best of tech. Pfft...too easy.

0:04:17 > 0:04:19That sounds very much like a challenge, Mr Vu.

0:04:19 > 0:04:20DEEP BREATH

0:04:20 > 0:04:22Let me proceed.

0:04:22 > 0:04:26- These are REVs - robotically enhanced vehicles.- Right.

0:04:26 > 0:04:29Think remote-control cars, but no remote needed.

0:04:29 > 0:04:32Instead you have an app which connects you to these cars,

0:04:32 > 0:04:35drive them around and they've got impact protection,

0:04:35 > 0:04:37so they're less likely to crash into each other,

0:04:37 > 0:04:39and play a little game of catch and mouse - REVs.

0:04:39 > 0:04:41Well, that was wheely good, Marcus,

0:04:41 > 0:04:43but you should definitely have a look at this.

0:04:43 > 0:04:45These are called ShiftWear and they're smart shoes

0:04:45 > 0:04:46that mean you can display any image

0:04:46 > 0:04:48on your shoes.

0:04:48 > 0:04:51Not just a still photo, it can be a video as well.

0:04:51 > 0:04:54Plus they're 100% waterproof, so you're never going to get wet,

0:04:54 > 0:04:56even though you've got a screen on your shoes,

0:04:56 > 0:05:00and on top of that, they charge with every step that you take,

0:05:00 > 0:05:01so you don't need any batteries.

0:05:01 > 0:05:03That's awesome, but check this out.

0:05:03 > 0:05:05The world's first humanoid robot

0:05:05 > 0:05:06for the family.

0:05:06 > 0:05:08This robot assistant recognises you.

0:05:08 > 0:05:10It can tell you a story.

0:05:10 > 0:05:13It can send and receive e-mails and texts for you and...

0:05:13 > 0:05:15teach you how to do a bit of yoga as well.

0:05:15 > 0:05:17Why would I want to do that?

0:05:17 > 0:05:18Why wouldn't you?

0:05:18 > 0:05:21Either way, I need this in my life, but you know what I need even more?

0:05:21 > 0:05:23Have a look at this.

0:05:23 > 0:05:24It's called Hypnos,

0:05:24 > 0:05:26the world's best sleep hoodie.

0:05:26 > 0:05:30So, it's not just any ordinary hoodie, it's got pillows

0:05:30 > 0:05:34built into the hood so that you can sleep anywhere you go.

0:05:34 > 0:05:36I love that, I could do with a good old sleep on the bus.

0:05:36 > 0:05:38- And it'd be better than... - HE LAUGHS

0:05:38 > 0:05:41It'd be better than rolling around with one of these!

0:05:41 > 0:05:43- Don't ask.- It's got a bowtie and everything!

0:05:43 > 0:05:46Right, anyway, vending machines, right?

0:05:46 > 0:05:47You've bought a can of pop?

0:05:47 > 0:05:49- Maybe some food from one?- Maybe.

0:05:49 > 0:05:51This is Carvana.

0:05:51 > 0:05:53- A car vending machine.- What?

0:05:53 > 0:05:55Money goes in, car comes out.

0:05:55 > 0:05:57- Boom. - FRANKIE LAUGHS

0:05:57 > 0:05:58Very impressive. OK.

0:05:58 > 0:06:01This is video chat for your pets!

0:06:01 > 0:06:02- What?- Yes!

0:06:02 > 0:06:06So, you can be out in the park playing football and your dog can

0:06:06 > 0:06:09give you a video call from home by just pressing its paw on the button.

0:06:09 > 0:06:11Ludicrous but fun.

0:06:11 > 0:06:12Right, give me that.

0:06:12 > 0:06:14Time to finish big. This...

0:06:14 > 0:06:16is the Cicret Bracelet.

0:06:16 > 0:06:19Screens? No...you don't need those any more with this.

0:06:19 > 0:06:23It projects onto your own skin via a bracelet that you wear.

0:06:23 > 0:06:28And you can touch your skin like you would a touch-screen phone or

0:06:28 > 0:06:30tablet or anything like that.

0:06:30 > 0:06:31I need it.

0:06:31 > 0:06:32- Yes.- Right now.- Yes, yes.

0:06:32 > 0:06:35You wouldn't even need to put your phone in your pocket any more.

0:06:35 > 0:06:37Happy now, Vlogster?

0:06:37 > 0:06:41I tell you what, boys, you were 27% funnier than I expected.

0:06:41 > 0:06:44But at least 50% better looking, eh? Eh?

0:06:44 > 0:06:47It's all relative, Marcus, my boy, all relative.

0:06:47 > 0:06:50Vlogster, I can tell you're itching to show something off too.

0:06:50 > 0:06:51What have you got for us?

0:06:51 > 0:06:54Feast your eyes on this - the Ehang 184,

0:06:54 > 0:06:56a drone designed to carry human passengers.

0:06:56 > 0:07:00Created by Chinese techsperts, the pilotless craft automatically

0:07:00 > 0:07:03flies itself to pre-selected destinations.

0:07:03 > 0:07:06It could soon become the only way to travel.

0:07:06 > 0:07:07What do you think, Frannie Vu?

0:07:07 > 0:07:09Well, for an oddly-shaped...

0:07:10 > 0:07:12What... What even are you, Vlogster?

0:07:12 > 0:07:15Oh, that's something for another time, boys.

0:07:15 > 0:07:18I don't want to blow those tiny minds.

0:07:18 > 0:07:20Anyway, got to go.

0:07:20 > 0:07:22I've a Valentine's dinner date.

0:07:22 > 0:07:23Ooh, who's the lucky lady, Vlogs?

0:07:23 > 0:07:25Lady? What lady?

0:07:25 > 0:07:28I've got a microwave meal for one waiting for me.

0:07:28 > 0:07:29Perfect. Ta-rah.

0:07:32 > 0:07:33I love you.

0:07:33 > 0:07:35- FEMALE WHISPER:- Je t'aime...

0:07:35 > 0:07:36- I love you.- Je t'aime...

0:07:36 > 0:07:38I love you!

0:07:38 > 0:07:42Well, who can you love if you can't love yourself?

0:07:42 > 0:07:43How about Jake?

0:07:43 > 0:07:44He's so dreamy.

0:07:46 > 0:07:48Hey, guys. Happy Valentine's Day.

0:07:48 > 0:07:50Come here!

0:07:50 > 0:07:51Mwah!

0:07:51 > 0:07:53If you're feeling in the mood for lur-r-ve,

0:07:53 > 0:07:56I've got some great and fun apps for you to try.

0:07:56 > 0:07:58Let's go.

0:07:58 > 0:08:01First up is Love Test Calculator.

0:08:01 > 0:08:03Ooh, the calculator of love!

0:08:03 > 0:08:06If you want to find your perfect love match,

0:08:06 > 0:08:09try this little nifty app and see if your crush likes you back.

0:08:09 > 0:08:12So much fun and easy to use.

0:08:12 > 0:08:15Ja-a-ke... I saw that you're my perfect match!

0:08:15 > 0:08:17Uh, oh, dear.

0:08:17 > 0:08:20Now, the next app is called Valentine Yourself.

0:08:20 > 0:08:22Be the star of the show and get ready to laugh at you

0:08:22 > 0:08:25dancing in a music video with your loved one.

0:08:25 > 0:08:28You simply just upload your pictures and off you go.

0:08:30 > 0:08:32Next is Tom's Love Letters.

0:08:32 > 0:08:34Why not download that cutest love app ever

0:08:34 > 0:08:37so you can show that special person how you feel about them?

0:08:37 > 0:08:40Once you get started, the cute little talking Tom

0:08:40 > 0:08:42and talking Angela are there to help you out.

0:08:42 > 0:08:44Create a digital card or create

0:08:44 > 0:08:46a cute tune with these furry friends.

0:08:46 > 0:08:50You can even add a personal message for the added touch.

0:08:50 > 0:08:53That's all from me. Catch you later.

0:08:53 > 0:08:54Love you, Vlogster.

0:08:54 > 0:08:56Happy Valentine's Day, Jake.

0:08:56 > 0:08:59Love tips. I mean, love love tips.

0:08:59 > 0:09:04Ugh...what I'm trying to say is I love tips about love. Phew!

0:09:04 > 0:09:07What I don't love is downloading apps without permission

0:09:07 > 0:09:09and that goes for in-app purchases too,

0:09:09 > 0:09:13so don't do it and we'll avoid any broken hearts.

0:09:13 > 0:09:15DING Oh, there goes Instablab.

0:09:15 > 0:09:17Who's being all sociable now, then?

0:09:17 > 0:09:20Vlogster, is it possible to make a super spy suit?

0:09:20 > 0:09:22Shh...

0:09:22 > 0:09:24If anyone asks, you haven't seen me.

0:09:24 > 0:09:27But cracking question, Chris.

0:09:27 > 0:09:29Is this so you can sneak out of lessons at school?

0:09:29 > 0:09:31WHISPERS: Accessing data banks...

0:09:32 > 0:09:36American physicists are already working on a Harry Potter-style

0:09:36 > 0:09:41invisibility cloak that can make microscopic objects invisible.

0:09:41 > 0:09:44The cloak works by bending light rays around an object,

0:09:44 > 0:09:47a bit like water flows around a rock in a stream.

0:09:47 > 0:09:50One problem, though, the cloak only works

0:09:50 > 0:09:53in an exact predetermined environment, so our would-be spy

0:09:53 > 0:09:56would need to keep perfectly still to stay invisible.

0:09:56 > 0:09:59Which wouldn't lead to much secret agent work.

0:09:59 > 0:10:01There's still stealth hope.

0:10:01 > 0:10:05Italian scientists think that a suit fitted with micro-cameras

0:10:05 > 0:10:08and tiny LED screens could film and display the background

0:10:08 > 0:10:12behind the spy rendering them semi-invisible.

0:10:12 > 0:10:15This technique is already being used on the Infinity Tower

0:10:15 > 0:10:17in South Korea.

0:10:17 > 0:10:20The skyscraper will be almost invisible from some angles.

0:10:20 > 0:10:22I'd love to see that tower.

0:10:22 > 0:10:24Or not see it, even.

0:10:24 > 0:10:27But what if our spy is feeling hot-hot-hot?

0:10:27 > 0:10:31They'll need to be able to avoid heat-sensitive cameras

0:10:31 > 0:10:33that reveal cold and hot spots.

0:10:33 > 0:10:36Researchers in Singapore have created a clever thermal material

0:10:36 > 0:10:39that has 24 tiny built-in pumps that change

0:10:39 > 0:10:43temperature by adding or removing heat.

0:10:43 > 0:10:47Using this tech in a spy suit could make our spy almost invisible

0:10:47 > 0:10:49to thermal cameras.

0:10:49 > 0:10:51Sounds pretty cool!

0:10:51 > 0:10:54And talking of sound, no-one likes a noisy spy,

0:10:54 > 0:10:59so scientists in North Carolina have used man-made smart materials

0:10:59 > 0:11:04to create a small pyramid-shaped structure that can hide sound waves,

0:11:04 > 0:11:08so any noise made within the pyramid can't be heard outside it.

0:11:08 > 0:11:12If this tech could be added to a wearable suit, it would be like

0:11:12 > 0:11:15making everyone in the room deaf to the noise of the secret agent.

0:11:15 > 0:11:20He could even whistle while he works and no-one would be any the wiser.

0:11:22 > 0:11:25Time now to share a bit more of the Technobabble love

0:11:25 > 0:11:29and put some of your questions to Niki and Sammy.

0:11:29 > 0:11:30Or is it Sammy and Niki?

0:11:30 > 0:11:32Let's cover all bases in one.

0:11:32 > 0:11:34Siki, do your thing.

0:11:36 > 0:11:37Hey, guys. We're back.

0:11:37 > 0:11:39And we're ready to answer the questions

0:11:39 > 0:11:41you've been sending in across the series.

0:11:42 > 0:11:44I've put a lot of thought into this one

0:11:44 > 0:11:47and I have to say I would definitely be a monkey.

0:11:47 > 0:11:49Yeah, I thought as much.

0:11:49 > 0:11:51I'd be a fox so I could be a foxy mamma.

0:11:51 > 0:11:52That's not how it works.

0:11:54 > 0:11:58If you could invent a piece of technology...

0:11:58 > 0:12:03I would have to say a spray that cleans you like a shower

0:12:03 > 0:12:06but one that means you don't have to have a shower, because getting

0:12:06 > 0:12:10out of a warm, steamy shower into the cold air is the worst.

0:12:10 > 0:12:12Yeah...OK.

0:12:12 > 0:12:14I'd create something that cooks for me,

0:12:14 > 0:12:17because tbh, 90% of the time I just can't be bothered.

0:12:17 > 0:12:20- Don't you mean a microwave? - MICROWAVE BEEPS

0:12:20 > 0:12:21Oh.

0:12:22 > 0:12:23The poo emoji.

0:12:23 > 0:12:26Oh, the poop emoji for sure.

0:12:26 > 0:12:29Actually, the unicorn emoji is pretty cool too.

0:12:29 > 0:12:30That's new.

0:12:30 > 0:12:31- Look. - UNICORN NEIGHS
