0:01:28 > 0:01:29- Lola!- Yes?
0:01:29 > 0:01:32So this den would mean a lot, because we'd have that special place
0:01:32 > 0:01:34to spend time together.
0:01:37 > 0:01:40Lola really deserves the den because she's always really helping
0:01:40 > 0:01:45her mum and she always has to help get the shopping out the car,
0:01:45 > 0:01:48put the wheelchair in the boot.
0:01:48 > 0:01:51It's just lovely watching her because she loves

0:01:55 > 0:01:59It would be nice for Lola to know she has a den that's her place,
0:01:59 > 0:02:02and it's hers and her mum's to go spend time together.
0:02:03 > 0:02:05- BOTH:- That one!- Yeah.
0:02:06 > 0:02:08Please help, Dengineers.
0:02:08 > 0:02:10I really, really, really need a den.
0:02:16 > 0:02:19Lola is on a visit to her new secondary school.
0:02:19 > 0:02:22She thinks she's about to be filmed for a documentary
0:02:22 > 0:02:26on starting school, but really it's the Dengineers crew.
0:02:26 > 0:02:28We're all ready for the big surprise.
0:02:28 > 0:02:30Her class is arriving...
0:02:31 > 0:02:34..and Lola has no idea we're waiting just metres away.
0:02:35 > 0:02:38Lola's class have just gone into the library
0:02:38 > 0:02:40and they think they're going to be watching a film
0:02:40 > 0:02:41about secondary school.
0:02:41 > 0:02:44Now, obviously, starting secondary school is a massive deal,
0:02:44 > 0:02:48so it is the perfect cover-up.
0:02:48 > 0:02:51I can't wait to see her face when we pop up on the screen.
0:02:51 > 0:02:55I'm Lauren and this is Mark and we're from CBBC's The Dengineers.
0:02:55 > 0:02:59And we're here to tell you, yes, you Lola...
0:02:59 > 0:03:01that you're going to be building your very own

0:03:04 > 0:03:06Oh, my days.
0:03:06 > 0:03:08That looks a little bit like us, doesn't it?
0:03:08 > 0:03:12That is right, we're really here and you really are
0:03:12 > 0:03:16going to get your dream den! How does that sound?
0:03:16 > 0:03:17Good.
0:03:17 > 0:03:20- Who's excited for Lola?- Yes, Lola!
0:03:20 > 0:03:22THEY CHEER
0:03:22 > 0:03:23Good work, Lola!
0:03:23 > 0:03:26There is SO much to do, so we better get this show on the road.
0:03:26 > 0:03:29Say bye to your school friends, cos we're off
0:03:29 > 0:03:31and you're not going to be back for a while.
0:03:31 > 0:03:33- Come with us.- Bye! - See you later, guys!
0:03:33 > 0:03:35Say goodbye, everyone! Let's go!
0:03:35 > 0:03:38I was speechless when they walked in.
0:03:38 > 0:03:41I was just really happy for Lola cos...
0:03:41 > 0:03:43Yeah, she's been wanting a den so much.
0:03:43 > 0:03:47When Mark and Lauren walked in, it was amazing.
0:03:47 > 0:03:50I never really expected it to happen.
0:03:50 > 0:03:53It's straight down to business as we head to the Dengineers'
0:03:53 > 0:03:56mobile HQ, packed with the cutting-edge technology that will
0:03:56 > 0:03:59bring Lola's Hollywood cinema den to life.
0:03:59 > 0:04:02So, Lola, welcome to the Dengineer's mobile HQ.
0:04:02 > 0:04:06This is where we're going to put together all of your amazing ideas
0:04:06 > 0:04:09for your Hollywood cinema den.
0:04:09 > 0:04:11Remember, it's your den,
0:04:11 > 0:04:14- so your ideas count. - You ready?- Yeah.
0:04:14 > 0:04:16Go for it, dive in.
0:04:16 > 0:04:18Maybe this one.
0:04:18 > 0:04:19Oh, nice start!
0:04:19 > 0:04:24- So you like them colours, blues? - Yeah.- And then maybe reds?- Yeah.
0:04:24 > 0:04:27I like it, I like it. What else?
0:04:27 > 0:04:28Erm, I quite like that.
0:04:28 > 0:04:30Why is lighting important to you?
0:04:30 > 0:04:34Cos it just gives the effect on the stage.
0:04:36 > 0:04:37This one.
0:04:37 > 0:04:40- Oh, cool.- That's obviously where you'd get tickets from.
0:04:40 > 0:04:42You need to a ticket to go to the cinema,
0:04:42 > 0:04:45- so maybe we need tickets to get into your cinema.- Yeah.
0:04:45 > 0:04:47What else are you looking for?
0:04:47 > 0:04:48Um...
0:04:48 > 0:04:52This one. It's like when the curtains are shut,
0:04:52 > 0:04:57the screen's behind it, she can make movies and then they're open,
0:04:57 > 0:05:00it's like the screen where we can watch the movies.
0:05:00 > 0:05:02- Wow.- Oh, I like that a lot.
0:05:02 > 0:05:05- So you're going to be making movies? - Yeah.
0:05:05 > 0:05:08I think you need a director's chair. Would you ever like to direct,
0:05:08 > 0:05:10or do you just like to be in the movie?
0:05:10 > 0:05:12- Both of them.- Awesome.
0:05:12 > 0:05:14- Look at that. - This one.
0:05:14 > 0:05:17How are we going to actually play the movies in your den?
0:05:18 > 0:05:22- Projector?- Why the projector? - Cos it can make it big.
0:05:22 > 0:05:25Make it like a proper cinema. This is really Hollywood, isn't it?
0:05:25 > 0:05:29- I think, like, proper cinema seats. - Nice.- Oh, they're cool.
0:05:29 > 0:05:31- A popcorn machine.- Perfect!
0:05:31 > 0:05:35You cannot go to the cinema without a bit of popcorn.
0:05:35 > 0:05:37What are you, sweet or salty?
0:05:37 > 0:05:39- Sweet.- I'm sweet, what are you?
0:05:39 > 0:05:41Sweet and salty.
0:05:41 > 0:05:43Oh, that's the one, sweet and salty mixed is the one.
0:05:43 > 0:05:46Best of both worlds, definitely.
0:05:46 > 0:05:49- Are you happy with your ideas?- Yes.
0:05:49 > 0:05:52Now is the time to change anything if there's anything you don't like.
0:05:52 > 0:05:54- No.- Totally happy?- Yeah.
0:05:54 > 0:05:56- Brilliant.- Shall we get this show on the road?- Yeah.
0:05:56 > 0:05:58Cos this is not going to be easy.
0:05:58 > 0:06:02- But I think we can do it. Do you? - Yeah.- Fingers crossed.
0:06:02 > 0:06:03Let's go for it.
0:06:04 > 0:06:07Lola's mood board is inspired by the glamour of Hollywood.
0:06:07 > 0:06:10She wants her cinema den to have a retro feel to it
0:06:10 > 0:06:13and to be able to watch movies on a big screen.
0:06:13 > 0:06:16Lola wants traditional cinema seating and somewhere
0:06:16 > 0:06:19to make her favourite snack - popcorn.
0:06:19 > 0:06:21But which of the Dengineers designers
0:06:21 > 0:06:23will be building Lola's den?
0:06:24 > 0:06:25It's Maral.
0:06:25 > 0:06:28Maral is one seriously cool architect,
0:06:28 > 0:06:30who designs multimillion pound buildings
0:06:30 > 0:06:32for a huge range of clients.
0:06:32 > 0:06:35If anyone can bring a touch of Hollywood glamour
0:06:35 > 0:06:37to Lola's cinema den, it's Maral.
0:06:39 > 0:06:42When I was researching, I found out that you have a beautiful house,
0:06:42 > 0:06:45but we've had to ask permission from the council
0:06:45 > 0:06:48that what I'm designing is suitable for this area.
0:06:49 > 0:06:53Maral had to submit detailed plans and has been granted
0:06:53 > 0:06:55planning permission for Lola's den.
0:06:55 > 0:06:59So, based on your mood board, you want a retro cinema den,
0:06:59 > 0:07:03somewhere that you and your mum can spend more time together,
0:07:03 > 0:07:06and watch some of the movies that you really like.
0:07:06 > 0:07:08- Yeah.- So these are some of my ideas.
0:07:08 > 0:07:12This is the front. You have a nice retro cinema sign
0:07:12 > 0:07:16- on top of your den.- Yeah. - What about the popcorn door?
0:07:16 > 0:07:17- LOLA GIGGLES - Yeah?
0:07:17 > 0:07:20Also, one of the most important thing, I think,
0:07:20 > 0:07:24is for your mum to be able to get into your den.
0:07:24 > 0:07:26- So she does need a ramp, doesn't she?- Yeah.
0:07:26 > 0:07:29Yeah, so that's something that I definitely have put in.
0:07:29 > 0:07:32Is there anything else you want to share with me?
0:07:32 > 0:07:36Yeah, I'd like some sort of lighting on my den.
0:07:36 > 0:07:39How about some lighting around the sign?
0:07:39 > 0:07:42- Like, if it says, "Lola's Cinema", with lots of light around.- Yeah.
0:07:42 > 0:07:44- Would that look good? - That would look good.
0:07:44 > 0:07:47- Am I good to go?- Yeah.- Great.
0:07:47 > 0:07:50Inspired by Lola's ideas, Maral plans to create
0:07:50 > 0:07:53a retro Hollywood cinema den, featuring popcorn doors
0:07:53 > 0:07:57and a box office. Lola's names will go up in lights
0:07:57 > 0:08:00with her very own cinema sign.
0:08:00 > 0:08:03Inside, there's a seat for Lola and a space for her mum's wheelchair.
0:08:03 > 0:08:07And no cinema would be complete without a popcorn machine.
0:08:13 > 0:08:15It's lights, camera, action,
0:08:15 > 0:08:18as the Dengineers have just four days to build
0:08:18 > 0:08:20Lola's cinema den.
0:08:20 > 0:08:22And because Maral has got planning permission,
0:08:22 > 0:08:24they'll have to stick exactly to her plans.
0:08:24 > 0:08:26This means no last-minute changes.
0:08:26 > 0:08:28Good luck with that, guys.
0:08:28 > 0:08:32In true film star style, Lola's gone for a new look for the build,
0:08:32 > 0:08:35and everyone gets stuck in to get things started.
0:08:35 > 0:08:41When the Dengineers arrived, there was loads of vans and cars.
0:08:41 > 0:08:44It was sort of a bit, like, chaotic,
0:08:44 > 0:08:47cos loads of people were just coming into the garden.
0:08:47 > 0:08:50Which means it's time to say bye-bye to Lola's family,
0:08:50 > 0:08:53who won't be able to see the den until the big reveal
0:08:53 > 0:08:54in a few days' time.
0:08:56 > 0:08:59Guys, take a look behind you because that is the last time
0:08:59 > 0:09:01that you are going to see the den.
0:09:01 > 0:09:03From here on in, it is Dengineers only!
0:09:03 > 0:09:07- Oh, exciting.- Lola, what would you like to say to your parents
0:09:07 > 0:09:08and your brother?
0:09:08 > 0:09:10Keep out and no peeking!
0:09:10 > 0:09:12Keep out and no peeking!
0:09:12 > 0:09:14It is officially Dengineers only!
0:09:14 > 0:09:16So off you guys go. Go on!
0:09:18 > 0:09:19Get out of here!
0:09:19 > 0:09:23I think Maral and Lola together are going to create something
0:09:23 > 0:09:26really special. They're both really creative,
0:09:26 > 0:09:29so, together they're going to be an unbeatable team.
0:09:30 > 0:09:33Maral, it looks amazing here!
0:09:33 > 0:09:38- Hi, guys.- Hey. Tell us, need I ask, why you've picked this space.
0:09:38 > 0:09:41- It's awesome.- Well, as you can see, this area of the garden
0:09:41 > 0:09:43is surrounded by very tall trees.
0:09:43 > 0:09:46So before we even began, it already feels like a den.
0:09:46 > 0:09:48- It's a big den, isn't it? - It is going to be one of the
0:09:48 > 0:09:51largest dens that the Dengineers have embarked on.
0:09:51 > 0:09:54As you can already see, the outline and the footprint of the den.
0:09:54 > 0:09:56- You can see it's pretty big, isn't it?- Yeah.
0:09:56 > 0:09:58Guys, there's a lot of work to be done today.
0:09:58 > 0:10:01- Have you had your porridge? - Yeah! Bananas.- Bananas.
0:10:01 > 0:10:04Bananas, good source of potassium and energy.
0:10:04 > 0:10:06I've got to have mine yet, so I'm a bit sluggish.
0:10:06 > 0:10:09Right, let's get him a banana, stat!
0:10:09 > 0:10:13'While the Dengineers start on the main structure of the den,
0:10:13 > 0:10:17'I get hands on with a very special power tool.'
0:10:17 > 0:10:19So here on The Dengineers, we tend to use, you know,
0:10:19 > 0:10:24top-notch equipment. We use a miter saw, we use an impact drill,
0:10:24 > 0:10:25we also use...
0:10:26 > 0:10:28..a bread knife.
0:10:28 > 0:10:31'Turns out it's the perfect thing for cutting foam,
0:10:31 > 0:10:35'which will form a fabric wall in Lola's den.'
0:10:35 > 0:10:36Excellent!
0:10:36 > 0:10:38'Lola helps Maral stick the foam to the wall panel
0:10:38 > 0:10:40'before I get to work!'
0:10:43 > 0:10:45Oh, my goodness!
0:10:47 > 0:10:50This is the most satisfying thing I've ever done.
0:10:50 > 0:10:53It's just like slicing bread.
0:10:53 > 0:10:55Yes!
0:10:55 > 0:10:58- Well done, Lauren.- Just like bread. I'm so proud of myself.
0:10:59 > 0:11:01'My work here is done.
0:11:01 > 0:11:04'I leave Maral and Lola to carry on with the panels,
0:11:04 > 0:11:08'while I go and find Mum and Dad for a chat and a cup of tea.'
0:11:08 > 0:11:11Tell me about Lola's love of cinema and film and movies.
0:11:11 > 0:11:15It's something fun and girlie that we can do together.
0:11:15 > 0:11:17She absolutely adores going and seeing something new,
0:11:17 > 0:11:20the excitement of seeing the film.
0:11:20 > 0:11:22Watching them over and over and over...
0:11:22 > 0:11:25- Yes.- ..again. - What kind of films does she like?
0:11:25 > 0:11:29Oh, she loves a sing-song. Mamma Mia's one of her favourites.
0:11:29 > 0:11:31Pitch Perfect, another one.
0:11:31 > 0:11:35So, obviously, having the den, then, would be the perfect place,
0:11:35 > 0:11:38on a ground-floor, where you guys can hang out together?
0:11:38 > 0:11:40Yeah, definitely somewhere for us to cuddle up together,
0:11:40 > 0:11:43- watch movies and have a fun time together.- Yeah.
0:11:43 > 0:11:46Because you became a wheelchair user - was it four years ago?
0:11:46 > 0:11:51- Yes.- How did that affect things, like normal life, for you?
0:11:51 > 0:11:56I think at the start, it was a big, sort of, shock.
0:11:56 > 0:11:58We try not to let it change our lives.
0:11:58 > 0:12:03We do as much now as we did before, but it is quite hard work.
0:12:03 > 0:12:06So whenever I've got Lola with me, she's a godsend, really.
0:12:06 > 0:12:09- She helps me out.- She always wants to help you out as well,
0:12:09 > 0:12:11- doesn't she?- Definitely. - She always wants to jump in
0:12:11 > 0:12:14and help her mum and...
0:12:14 > 0:12:17- Yeah, spend loads of time with you. - Make things easy.
0:12:19 > 0:12:22The pressure is on to deliver an amazing space
0:12:22 > 0:12:24for Lola and her mum to spend time together.
0:12:24 > 0:12:27So the Dengineers are moving at lightning speed
0:12:27 > 0:12:30to get the main structure up before the end of the day.
0:12:31 > 0:12:34With the build well under way, Maral turns her attention
0:12:34 > 0:12:37to a secret idea for the outside of the den.
0:12:37 > 0:12:41'This means that Lola and I get to act like film stars
0:12:41 > 0:12:43'in our very own photoshoot.
0:12:43 > 0:12:44'Get in!'
0:12:44 > 0:12:47MUSIC: Girls On Film by Duran Duran
0:12:47 > 0:12:51Doing the photoshoot with Lauren was fun and funny
0:12:51 > 0:12:55cos she's really good at doing facial expressions.
0:12:55 > 0:12:57I mean, I don't know if you've seen an alien,
0:12:57 > 0:12:59but that's definitely how they move.
0:13:02 > 0:13:04Go! Yeah!
0:13:04 > 0:13:08So I reckon I should get these to a man who's going to transform them
0:13:08 > 0:13:11into something brilliant which you don't know about yet,
0:13:11 > 0:13:14so I'm going to grab them and see you later, all right?
0:13:18 > 0:13:21It's day two of the build and the Dengineers are up early
0:13:21 > 0:13:22and already hard at work.
0:13:22 > 0:13:26We have quite a lot of tasks that we need to get on with today.
0:13:26 > 0:13:28We have to paint the den inside and out,
0:13:28 > 0:13:30we have to make sure all the electrical work is done,
0:13:30 > 0:13:34we have tons to do, so everybody needs to chip in.
0:13:34 > 0:13:38With things progressing so quickly, it's time for a site inspection.
0:13:38 > 0:13:41- What do you think so far?- It's cool.
0:13:41 > 0:13:45- Yeah?- Now it's got the wall at the back and it's all, like, red.
0:13:45 > 0:13:49Anything you see that you think, "Uh-oh, I don't like,"
0:13:49 > 0:13:53or you want me to consider changing or adapting?
0:13:53 > 0:13:54- No.- No? That's good!
0:13:56 > 0:14:00There's loads to do and Lola gets stuck in painting the popcorn doors.
0:14:02 > 0:14:04Done a great job. I'll take it from there.
0:14:06 > 0:14:10Maral needs to get some top-secret elements of the design installed,
0:14:10 > 0:14:13so I'm whisking Lola off for a special treat.
0:14:13 > 0:14:16We're visiting a company where famous movie stars go
0:14:16 > 0:14:20to have their special effects costumes created using 3D models.
0:14:21 > 0:14:24- Alex, nice to see you. This is Lola. - Very nice to meet you.
0:14:24 > 0:14:28So, Alex, tell Lola what exactly we've got going on here.
0:14:28 > 0:14:30These are some of the props that we make,
0:14:30 > 0:14:32- so this is Captain Blackbeard's armour.- Wow. Hugh Jackman?
0:14:32 > 0:14:35Yes, we milled him out, very similar to Jack here,
0:14:35 > 0:14:36as a mannequin,
0:14:36 > 0:14:39then this was sculpted over the top of his body in clay.
0:14:39 > 0:14:43So that's where we get digital and traditional model-making skills
0:14:43 > 0:14:45joining together.
0:14:45 > 0:14:47You make a model and then you just keep fitting it to that model,
0:14:47 > 0:14:50- so the actor doesn't have to keep coming back? - That's exactly right.
0:14:52 > 0:14:55To do that, a 3D scan needs to be made of the actors
0:14:55 > 0:14:57and we go off to see how it's done.
0:14:57 > 0:14:58Let's go.
0:14:58 > 0:15:02Lola is going to experience just what it's like to be 3D scanned.
0:15:02 > 0:15:06120 cameras will take a photo of her from every angle.
0:15:06 > 0:15:09The information goes into a computer
0:15:09 > 0:15:12and she'll be created digitally in 3D.
0:15:12 > 0:15:15- Right, let's do it.- Right, can you turn off the light, Mark?
0:15:15 > 0:15:17The rig is going to fire and when it does,
0:15:17 > 0:15:20it'll be the flashes that capture that moment in time
0:15:20 > 0:15:23- Three...two...one... - CAMERA SHUTTERS CLICK
0:15:23 > 0:15:26- There we go.- So it just flashed once
0:15:26 > 0:15:29and you've just taken every measurement from Lola that you need,
0:15:29 > 0:15:33pinpoint to the point that it could be on the big screen at the cinema?
0:15:33 > 0:15:34Exactly.
0:15:35 > 0:15:38It's time to reveal what Lola really looks like in 3D.
0:15:40 > 0:15:42You know what, I think these images
0:15:42 > 0:15:45are too good to just leave on the computer.
0:15:45 > 0:15:47I think we need to make something of it.
0:15:47 > 0:15:50What about we get your 3D image printed off
0:15:50 > 0:15:55and we make a mini statue, something like that, for your den?
0:15:55 > 0:15:56It'll be you.
0:15:56 > 0:15:59Wow!
0:16:05 > 0:16:06To make this den work,
0:16:06 > 0:16:09Lola and her mum need to be able to watch films,
0:16:09 > 0:16:14so getting the technology right is vital, starting with the projector.
0:16:14 > 0:16:16So the projector is actually going to be
0:16:16 > 0:16:18one of the most important elements of Lola's den.
0:16:18 > 0:16:20So we're not doing this on a TV screen -
0:16:20 > 0:16:22we are going with a classic actual cinema projector?
0:16:22 > 0:16:24Classic projector, that's correct.
0:16:24 > 0:16:27Maral demonstrates how Lola's projector will work
0:16:27 > 0:16:29using one she's made with a shoebox.
0:16:29 > 0:16:33So you have a beam of light
0:16:33 > 0:16:37that goes through an image, carries on through the magnifying glass
0:16:37 > 0:16:41onto a big, blank wall so you see a massive cinema picture?
0:16:41 > 0:16:44That is correct, but how big that image is going to be
0:16:44 > 0:16:47will be determined by the projector.
0:16:47 > 0:16:49Well, I think we should give it a go and see if it works, shall we?
0:16:49 > 0:16:52- Let's do it.- Let's do it. Lights, please!
0:16:52 > 0:16:54A-ha, I've got the magic.
0:16:54 > 0:16:56- Let's press play. - LAUREN GASPS
0:16:56 > 0:16:58- There you go.- Amazing.
0:16:58 > 0:17:01So here's a little video from Lola earlier.
0:17:01 > 0:17:05- So if I bring it closer, it goes out of focus.- Yes.
0:17:05 > 0:17:09As it goes further back, the image gets larger and more sharp.
0:17:09 > 0:17:14That is absolutely brilliant.
0:17:14 > 0:17:17Maral has chosen a liquid crystal display projector for the den,
0:17:17 > 0:17:19which uses light and a lens
0:17:19 > 0:17:22to project a digital image onto a screen.
0:17:22 > 0:17:25The position of the projector and the lens will affect the size
0:17:25 > 0:17:28and sharpness of the image she sees.
0:17:28 > 0:17:30So if you don't mind bringing it lower.
0:17:30 > 0:17:33At the same height as the hatch over there.
0:17:34 > 0:17:36Now that the projector is in position,
0:17:36 > 0:17:38the team can get to work on yet another coat of paint.
0:17:38 > 0:17:42There is a lot to paint, a lot more than I thought.
0:17:42 > 0:17:44You know, the pressure is on.
0:17:44 > 0:17:48There's still loads to be done, as all the fittings for inside the den
0:17:48 > 0:17:50are yet to be installed.
0:17:50 > 0:17:53And there's the cinema sign to make.
0:17:53 > 0:17:56We've got a bit of a problem because we can't find the piece of acrylic
0:17:56 > 0:17:59we need for the big retro sign that is going on top of the den.
0:18:00 > 0:18:04I need to try and source another one, because we just can't find it.
0:18:04 > 0:18:05Uh, about two metres...
0:18:05 > 0:18:09Maral hits the phone to try and source a replacement.
0:18:09 > 0:18:10It is quite important.
0:18:10 > 0:18:12If she can't find a new piece of acrylic,
0:18:12 > 0:18:15Maral won't be able to create the centrepiece of Lola's den,
0:18:15 > 0:18:17her cinema sign.
0:18:17 > 0:18:20I don't think she'll be getting much sleep tonight.
0:18:27 > 0:18:30It's day three of the build and time is ticking.
0:18:30 > 0:18:33The missing acrylic has delayed progress.
0:18:33 > 0:18:36I've had to find a piece of acrylic for the sign.
0:18:36 > 0:18:39Luckily, this morning we've managed to source one,
0:18:39 > 0:18:42but David has got an awful lot to do to complete the sign today.
0:18:42 > 0:18:45Dengineer David gets to work on Lola's cinema sign
0:18:45 > 0:18:47and it's all hands on deck
0:18:47 > 0:18:49to try and get things back on track.
0:18:50 > 0:18:52From now on, Lola won't be able to see her den
0:18:52 > 0:18:56until the big reveal tomorrow, but there's still plenty for her to do.
0:19:02 > 0:19:04We are going to do a bit of upcycle.
0:19:04 > 0:19:06Can you take a guess what it could be?
0:19:06 > 0:19:08- A stage?- Good answer, yes.
0:19:08 > 0:19:11Maral is using tongue and groove boards,
0:19:11 > 0:19:13which lock together to make the floor of the stage.
0:19:13 > 0:19:16You want to stand on it and see how robust it is?
0:19:17 > 0:19:19- That's good.- Yeah? It's a good stage, isn't it?- Yeah.
0:19:19 > 0:19:22Each of these pallets will have a star...
0:19:22 > 0:19:24right in the middle.
0:19:25 > 0:19:28- Do you like making things?- Yeah.
0:19:28 > 0:19:32In my bedroom I have loads of arts and craft things
0:19:32 > 0:19:34and I enjoy making things with it.
0:19:37 > 0:19:42It's really sticky and you have to put lots of pressure into it.
0:19:43 > 0:19:46- Hard work, isn't it?- Yeah. - Shall we swap over?
0:19:46 > 0:19:48Sounds like a job for the Dengineers!
0:19:51 > 0:19:55With painting, varnishing, building and fitting still left to do,
0:19:55 > 0:19:58the Dengineers will need to make a superhuman effort
0:19:58 > 0:20:00to get everything done in time.
0:20:03 > 0:20:04I don't want Lola to go,
0:20:04 > 0:20:07"Wow, my den! Oh, it's spelled wrong!"
0:20:07 > 0:20:09So far, so good, though.
0:20:11 > 0:20:14- There?- I'm happy there.
0:20:14 > 0:20:16Well, we're not finished yet.
0:20:16 > 0:20:19It is the end, but we still have a few more things to finish off.
0:20:19 > 0:20:22Some of the paints still need a second coat.
0:20:22 > 0:20:24After the second coats are dry,
0:20:24 > 0:20:26it needs varnishing.
0:20:26 > 0:20:29The ramp needs a final coat before we go,
0:20:29 > 0:20:31so it can dry overnight.
0:20:31 > 0:20:33We've still got the chair to fix, yeah,
0:20:33 > 0:20:35so there are still a few things to do.
0:20:35 > 0:20:38Guys, come on! You're superheroes!
0:20:38 > 0:20:39You can do this.
0:20:39 > 0:20:43Everything has to be done, there is no doubt about it.
0:20:43 > 0:20:45So even if it takes us till 12 midnight,
0:20:45 > 0:20:47we will be here to finish it.
0:20:47 > 0:20:49That's more like it.
0:20:49 > 0:20:53The lights go down on a very busy day for the Dengineers and tomorrow
0:20:53 > 0:20:57is the eagerly awaited premiere of Lola's Hollywood cinema den.
0:20:59 > 0:21:02IN DRAMATIC MOVIE TRAILER VOICE: Lola had a problem.
0:21:02 > 0:21:05DRAMATIC MUSIC
0:21:05 > 0:21:06She needed a den.
0:21:11 > 0:21:15In just four days, one team transformed her garden
0:21:15 > 0:21:18and brought her Hollywood cinema dreams to life.
0:21:20 > 0:21:22It's...
0:21:24 > 0:21:28Uh, when you're quite finished, Mark, we've got a den to build!
0:21:28 > 0:21:30- This looks incredible, Maral! - You think so?
0:21:30 > 0:21:33That is absolutely genius.
0:21:33 > 0:21:34The red VIP rope, the red carpet.
0:21:34 > 0:21:38- And it looks massive.- It needs to have the wow factor.- It's amazing.
0:21:38 > 0:21:40- I love it.- It's a good job you guys are here, though.
0:21:40 > 0:21:43It's the reveal day and we do have a few little things left to do.
0:21:45 > 0:21:48It's all hands on deck to get ready for the reveal.
0:21:52 > 0:21:54The popcorn machine needs testing.
0:21:54 > 0:21:56We can do it, we can work it out.
0:21:58 > 0:22:00Go on.
