0:00:32 > 0:00:34This den is done!

0:00:37 > 0:00:39Merry Christmas!

0:00:45 > 0:00:47Whoa!

0:00:47 > 0:00:49Waa!

0:00:55 > 0:00:57We're here to surprise one lucky boy in Cambridge

0:00:57 > 0:00:59and give him his dream den.

0:00:59 > 0:01:00Yes!

0:01:00 > 0:01:02Is it a rugby den?

0:01:02 > 0:01:04- Yes!- Good because if it wasn't, this would be weird.

0:01:04 > 0:01:06Oh, yeah. My back hurts now.

0:01:06 > 0:01:09- Stretch it out.- Let's find out who is today's dengineer.

0:01:13 > 0:01:17Today's dengineer is 12-year-old Will from Cambridge.

0:01:17 > 0:01:20I need help from the Dengineers because I love rugby

0:01:20 > 0:01:22and I want to play for England one day.

0:01:24 > 0:01:26Rugby is Will's life.

0:01:27 > 0:01:31He loves the sport and loves to play it.

0:01:31 > 0:01:32It's the only thing he wants to do.

0:01:34 > 0:01:37He watches and plays a lot.

0:01:37 > 0:01:38I mean a lot of rugby.

0:01:40 > 0:01:44But recently, Will's favourite sport has been taken away from him.

0:01:44 > 0:01:47I was diagnosed with Langerhans cell histiocytosis about a year ago now.

0:01:49 > 0:01:51Will has a rare form of cancer,

0:01:51 > 0:01:53which affects his blood and skin cells.

0:01:53 > 0:01:55Will has been in and out of hospital for the

0:01:55 > 0:01:58last 12 months having chemotherapy.

0:01:58 > 0:02:01During his treatment, Will had to give up rugby.

0:02:01 > 0:02:05He wasn't allowed to go on the field. He wasn't allowed to train.

0:02:05 > 0:02:09It's really hard as a sister to see your brother in pain all the time

0:02:09 > 0:02:12and especially at the start of the process,

0:02:12 > 0:02:14when he was always going down to hospital and

0:02:14 > 0:02:17I rarely got to see him.

0:02:17 > 0:02:21Will absolutely deserved this den because he has been through so much

0:02:21 > 0:02:25in the last 12 to 18 months, having chemotherapy,

0:02:25 > 0:02:29having to learn to inject himself and just doesn't complain about what

0:02:29 > 0:02:31he has to go through.

0:02:32 > 0:02:35Please, Dengineers, I need your help.

0:02:35 > 0:02:36Don't you worry, Will.

0:02:36 > 0:02:38Our help is exactly what you're going to get.

0:02:38 > 0:02:41You just don't know it yet.

0:02:41 > 0:02:43Will and his class think that they are being filmed for

0:02:43 > 0:02:46his rugby club but they have no idea that we're here.

0:02:46 > 0:02:48And they're about to go out onto the field.

0:02:48 > 0:02:50Come on, let's get in position.

0:02:52 > 0:02:54The Dengineers team have rigged the place with hidden cameras.

0:02:59 > 0:03:01As Will and his classmates come out of the changing room,

0:03:01 > 0:03:04we decide to get a closer look.

0:03:04 > 0:03:06- Don't...- Get back, get back, get back.

0:03:06 > 0:03:11OK, they're literally walking out right down here, right now.

0:03:11 > 0:03:15Get down, get down, get down. Let's go!

0:03:15 > 0:03:16TV's glamorous.

0:03:18 > 0:03:19Will and his class are on the pitch,

0:03:19 > 0:03:22so it's time for us to give him the surprise of his life.

0:03:27 > 0:03:29Uh-oh, I think we've been spotted!

0:03:29 > 0:03:31Hello, everybody. Hi!

0:03:31 > 0:03:33Erm, we've got to be honest with you,

0:03:33 > 0:03:36we're not actually here to film about the rugby club.

0:03:36 > 0:03:38My name is Lauren and this is Joe.

0:03:38 > 0:03:41And we are from CBBC's the Dengineers!

0:03:41 > 0:03:43- Oh!- We're looking for Will!

0:03:43 > 0:03:45Where is Will?

0:03:45 > 0:03:49Will, guess what? We're going to build your dream rugby den.

0:03:50 > 0:03:52- How do you feel, mate?- Shocked.

0:03:52 > 0:03:54Shocked? Did you have any idea that

0:03:54 > 0:03:57we've been hiding out just over there?

0:03:57 > 0:04:00No. I saw the load of vans

0:04:00 > 0:04:02- but...- We've been in there since Tuesday!

0:04:03 > 0:04:08When Lauren and Joe walked up, I thought, this is so amazing.

0:04:08 > 0:04:11I'm very excited for this den because I've always dreamed

0:04:11 > 0:04:13of somewhere to go where I could be myself,

0:04:13 > 0:04:17where I can just go to do the thing that I love and that's rugby.

0:04:17 > 0:04:21Well, Will, we're going to take you away now because we've got loads

0:04:21 > 0:04:24of work to get done if you're going to have your rugby den.

0:04:24 > 0:04:26- Are you ready for it?- Yeah! - Let's go!- Come on, Will.

0:04:26 > 0:04:28- Let's do it.- See you guys!

0:04:28 > 0:04:29Yeah! Yes!

0:04:33 > 0:04:36Our first port of call is the Dengineers' mobile HQ,

0:04:36 > 0:04:41which has some mega-cool technology which can bring Will's den to life.

0:04:41 > 0:04:45Will, welcome to the Dengineers mobile HQ.

0:04:45 > 0:04:47In here, Will, is where we're going

0:04:47 > 0:04:49to get all of the ideas out your head,

0:04:49 > 0:04:52get them onto this big computer and work out what you need for your den.

0:04:52 > 0:04:54So, mate, why do you like rugby so much?

0:04:54 > 0:04:57I got into rugby from my stepdad.

0:04:57 > 0:04:59He had played it ever since he was a kid.

0:04:59 > 0:05:01And we started watching our first game.

0:05:01 > 0:05:02I started getting really into it.

0:05:02 > 0:05:04OK, so it's all about the rugby.

0:05:04 > 0:05:07Let's get stuck in. What are we talking about for the outside,

0:05:07 > 0:05:10- for example?- I'm thinking a rugby ball shape.

0:05:10 > 0:05:12- Yes!- Wow.

0:05:12 > 0:05:15- Like, sort of that on the ground. - That way round.- Like a pod, almost.

0:05:15 > 0:05:18Yeah, yeah. If that is what I think it is.

0:05:18 > 0:05:19- Who's that?- Exeter Chiefs.

0:05:19 > 0:05:21So, are they the club you support?

0:05:21 > 0:05:23Yeah, that's the club I support.

0:05:23 > 0:05:25Right, and what colour scheme would you like?

0:05:25 > 0:05:28I think inside of it, I'm thinking will mainly be, like,

0:05:28 > 0:05:31that sort of colour inside because that's the colour of Exeter Chiefs.

0:05:31 > 0:05:34What do we reckon? Are we going to watch a bit of rugger

0:05:34 > 0:05:35- in there with your mates?- Yeah.

0:05:35 > 0:05:39Yes. Look at that. What do you think about the flooring there?

0:05:39 > 0:05:43I love falling on grass and grass and mud and stuff.

0:05:43 > 0:05:44- Wow.- So, I'm thinking...

0:05:44 > 0:05:46I love that. You love falling on mud!

0:05:46 > 0:05:48- That is just your life, isn't it? - Yeah!

0:05:48 > 0:05:50Well, I think it's looking amazing.

0:05:50 > 0:05:52Will, are you feeling happy?

0:05:52 > 0:05:53- Very happy.- Good man.

0:05:55 > 0:05:58For his mood board, Will has chosen the shape of a rugby ball,

0:05:58 > 0:05:59colours of his favourite team,

0:05:59 > 0:06:03a screen to watch games and fake grass flooring to get the feeling of

0:06:03 > 0:06:05being on the pitch.

0:06:06 > 0:06:09And we've got just the designer for the job.

0:06:12 > 0:06:16Meet Sege, a creative genius with over 30 years in the building biz.

0:06:17 > 0:06:20He knows how to nail a massive project - just like this one.

0:06:23 > 0:06:25All right, Will, we're here in the garden.

0:06:25 > 0:06:27You've got quite a lot of room to work with, so,

0:06:27 > 0:06:29whereabouts do you see your den going?

0:06:29 > 0:06:31I'm planning it over there.

0:06:31 > 0:06:34- OK.- A few bits to sort out but we'll get there.

0:06:34 > 0:06:35So, Sege, what's the plan?

0:06:35 > 0:06:39So, Will, you want the outside of this den to be in the shape of

0:06:39 > 0:06:41- a rugby ball?- Yeah.- Right.

0:06:41 > 0:06:44That is a very tricky shape, of course, and a very tricky den.

0:06:44 > 0:06:47By definition, the rugby ball doesn't really sit on the ground

0:06:47 > 0:06:48very easily. It kind of wobbles.

0:06:48 > 0:06:50No, no, I'm thinking that. I'm thinking,

0:06:50 > 0:06:52how do we stop it from wobbling?

0:06:52 > 0:06:54What about the inside? We're looking for some seating,

0:06:54 > 0:06:56so you can watch the game in comfort.

0:06:56 > 0:06:57Perhaps with your friends as well.

0:06:57 > 0:07:00- Yeah.- And maybe a bit of a tactics board, maybe,

0:07:00 > 0:07:03to sort of discuss how you could perhaps manage the team?

0:07:03 > 0:07:05- Yeah.- How about maybe some kit cupboards?

0:07:05 > 0:07:07Yeah, that would be amazing.

0:07:07 > 0:07:10So, Will, are you feeling happy with all of Sege's plans?

0:07:10 > 0:07:12I'm feeling very happy about this.

0:07:12 > 0:07:16Sege has designed the den to look like an actual rugby ball.

0:07:16 > 0:07:20The windows will look like stitches on a vintage style ball with a door

0:07:20 > 0:07:22for access at the back.

0:07:22 > 0:07:23The interior is a rugby pitch,

0:07:23 > 0:07:26with seating areas and goalpost cupboards at either end.

0:07:27 > 0:07:29There'll also be a TV and whiteboard

0:07:29 > 0:07:31for Will and his mate to watch

0:07:31 > 0:07:33games and discuss tactics.

0:07:33 > 0:07:35Now, I reckon we have got quite a lot to do, so, Sege,

0:07:35 > 0:07:37what can we help you with?

0:07:37 > 0:07:39Well, there's a lot of stuff behind you that needs moving,

0:07:39 > 0:07:42so I think what would be a good idea is, you lot can crack on with that,

0:07:42 > 0:07:46while I go away and work out how I'm going to stop the den rolling away!

0:07:46 > 0:07:48Actually, that's probably a good idea.

0:07:48 > 0:07:49- Off you go. Good luck!- Bye, Sege!

0:07:49 > 0:07:51Come on. Right, let's do it.

0:07:55 > 0:07:57Everyone's helping. We've even got Mum on board,

0:07:57 > 0:08:00getting her hands dirty.

0:08:00 > 0:08:02Whoa!

0:08:02 > 0:08:04Let's roll it. This is great, guys.

0:08:04 > 0:08:06We've got a right technique on the go here.

0:08:06 > 0:08:09Sege is definitely the right man for the job.

0:08:09 > 0:08:11I think he definitely understands every idea that's

0:08:11 > 0:08:14coming out of my head.

0:08:14 > 0:08:16With the job nearly complete,

0:08:16 > 0:08:18it's time for me to test out my rugby skills.

0:08:18 > 0:08:20Argh!

0:08:20 > 0:08:22MAN YELPS

0:08:22 > 0:08:25Or maybe not. I almost took out Soundman Ben.

0:08:25 > 0:08:27He's fine. You're all right?

0:08:30 > 0:08:33And in no time at all, the garden is cleared.

0:08:36 > 0:08:37Mum, thank you very much for your help.

0:08:37 > 0:08:39I'll take your gloves from you.

0:08:39 > 0:08:41Yeah, we love you but we need you to sling your hook

0:08:41 > 0:08:45because from this point on, it's dengineers only.

0:08:45 > 0:08:46So, ta-ra!

0:08:46 > 0:08:48- Bye!- Bye!- Bye!

0:08:48 > 0:08:52I'm a little bit nervous of Will being in control of this den

0:08:52 > 0:08:54but I do trust him.

0:08:56 > 0:08:58Before the main build can get started,

0:08:58 > 0:09:01the Dengineers team needs to get cracking with the ground-works.

0:09:04 > 0:09:05We have kick-off!

0:09:08 > 0:09:12The ground-works is going absolutely fantastically well.

0:09:12 > 0:09:15This is a bit of an odd-sized base from the because in terms of dens,

0:09:15 > 0:09:18it's one of the smallest bases I've ever done.

0:09:18 > 0:09:25But it's going to carry perhaps one of the biggest dens I've ever done.

0:09:25 > 0:09:29And this den needs some serious cement engineering.

0:09:29 > 0:09:31Sege is going to use reinforced concrete

0:09:31 > 0:09:33to take the weight of the den.

0:09:33 > 0:09:36And a steel mesh is sunk into the cement

0:09:36 > 0:09:37to give it even more strength.

0:09:42 > 0:09:44With one final swoop, the ground-works are complete

0:09:44 > 0:09:46and left to set.

0:09:51 > 0:09:54It's day one of the build and we need to get cracking.

0:09:57 > 0:10:00When the Dengineers roll into town, we come with a van-load of kit.

0:10:03 > 0:10:07And we've set up just in time, as the den has arrived.

0:10:07 > 0:10:10So, what do you think? Seeing it first time?

0:10:10 > 0:10:11- It's massive.- It is massive.

0:10:11 > 0:10:13That's a good word for it. It's enormous, Sege.

0:10:13 > 0:10:15It's very big, yeah.

0:10:15 > 0:10:17I've lived in smaller flats than that.

0:10:17 > 0:10:19That is the rugby ball of all rugby balls, don't you think?

0:10:19 > 0:10:21Go big or go home.

0:10:21 > 0:10:24But we might have just run into our first problem.

0:10:24 > 0:10:27At two metres wide, the den is looking pretty big.

0:10:28 > 0:10:32And the entrance to the garden, not so big.

0:10:32 > 0:10:33It's not going to go in there, is it?

0:10:33 > 0:10:35Well, here's the thing, you see.

0:10:35 > 0:10:37I've measured it and I've mentioned it again

0:10:37 > 0:10:40and looking at that and looking at THAT...

0:10:40 > 0:10:43We've got two centimetres to play with.

0:10:43 > 0:10:45- It's that tight?- It's going to be a bit of a struggle.

0:10:45 > 0:10:49There's a possibility we might not actually get it through the gap.

0:10:49 > 0:10:51I hope we get over that because

0:10:51 > 0:10:53we've got to get it in and it must go in.

0:10:55 > 0:10:58The second obstacle is getting the den off the lorry,

0:10:58 > 0:11:00which takes a lot of precision.

0:11:00 > 0:11:01It's up, it's up, it's up!

0:11:01 > 0:11:04Wa-hey!

0:11:04 > 0:11:07We definitely want to keep our eye on this ball.

0:11:07 > 0:11:09That's a proper rugby ball.

0:11:09 > 0:11:10It is.

0:11:10 > 0:11:12Wow. I can't believe the size of it.

0:11:14 > 0:11:17So, the mammoth task of getting 850kg

0:11:17 > 0:11:19of solid den into the garden begins.

0:11:19 > 0:11:22That's the weight of two male polar bears.

0:11:26 > 0:11:28Push!

0:11:31 > 0:11:33Whoa, whoa! That's it.

0:11:36 > 0:11:39It's not going to fit!

0:11:39 > 0:11:41- Looking at that now..- It's just too big!

0:11:41 > 0:11:43Ready? Go on!

0:11:45 > 0:11:48Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Everybody stop!

0:11:48 > 0:11:49Everybody stop. We are stuck.

0:11:51 > 0:11:52Right, just push it back.

0:11:52 > 0:11:55Go on.

0:11:55 > 0:11:57- That'll do. Whoa.- So, it basically doesn't fit.

0:11:59 > 0:12:01Yeah, it's completely stuck.

0:12:01 > 0:12:05We've taken half of the wall off on the back and there's no room on the

0:12:05 > 0:12:07other side, so, we've had to pull it back

0:12:07 > 0:12:08and we've got to wait until Sege

0:12:08 > 0:12:11tells us what's going to happen because at the moment,

0:12:11 > 0:12:13- it's not getting in there.- Yeah.

0:12:13 > 0:12:15Sege "The Ledge" has one more idea.

0:12:15 > 0:12:17And down comes more of the fence.

0:12:17 > 0:12:20It's going to fit. It's fine now.

0:12:20 > 0:12:22- Right, nice and steady. - Yeah.- Go on.

0:12:26 > 0:12:30Getting the den into the garden has taken nearly three hours.

0:12:30 > 0:12:32Push!

0:12:32 > 0:12:35- Go on!- And with one more mighty push, it's finally through.

0:12:36 > 0:12:38Let's go round the front, so we can see it on the back, yeah?

0:12:38 > 0:12:41Let's go. Go!

0:12:41 > 0:12:43Go on, on again.

0:12:43 > 0:12:45Whoa.

0:12:47 > 0:12:50Look at it!

0:12:50 > 0:12:52Push!

0:12:52 > 0:12:54We did it!

0:12:56 > 0:12:57That is so satisfying.

0:12:57 > 0:12:59- You did it, Sege.- Well, we all did it.

0:12:59 > 0:13:01That was good teamwork, that was.

0:13:01 > 0:13:04It's nice to see you sweat for a change.

0:13:04 > 0:13:06Cheeky, isn't he?

0:13:09 > 0:13:11As the den is put into its final position,

0:13:11 > 0:13:15it's time for Will to have his first peek inside.

0:13:15 > 0:13:17- Wow!- It's big, isn't it?

0:13:17 > 0:13:19Yeah, it's absolutely massive.

0:13:19 > 0:13:21It's like a TARDIS.

0:13:21 > 0:13:24Yeah! I'm so excited for this.

0:13:24 > 0:13:27Lovely as it is, we've got a lot more work to do.

0:13:27 > 0:13:28- So, are you ready?- Yeah. I'm ready.

0:13:28 > 0:13:30Good man, let's do it.

0:13:32 > 0:13:34To stop the ball rolling away,

0:13:34 > 0:13:38the final job of is to secure the den into the reinforced concrete.

0:13:38 > 0:13:42What I enjoyed about today was seeing where the ball is going to be

0:13:42 > 0:13:44placed, what shape it is, how MASSIVE it is.

0:13:44 > 0:13:49We've had a really, really difficult day getting the den in the garden.

0:13:51 > 0:13:53We've got a bit of a mammoth task in

0:13:53 > 0:13:55front of us to get this done in time.

0:13:55 > 0:13:57So, no matter how big the job is, it's just got to get done.

0:14:03 > 0:14:05As day two begins,

0:14:05 > 0:14:09there's a huge amount of work to get through.

0:14:09 > 0:14:13The first job is to smooth out the den's rough edges and touch up the

0:14:13 > 0:14:14paintwork.

0:14:14 > 0:14:18And when it comes to the Dengineers, teamwork makes the dream work.

0:14:18 > 0:14:21And it's time for Will to get his hands dirty with a bit of painting.

0:14:21 > 0:14:23Nice long strokes, Will.

0:14:23 > 0:14:26Up and down. Don't press it so hard, just let the paint do the work.

0:14:27 > 0:14:30Whilst the rest of the Dengineers crack on,

0:14:30 > 0:14:32there's always time for a game of rugby.

0:14:33 > 0:14:35Oh!

0:14:35 > 0:14:37Ooh!

0:14:37 > 0:14:39Careful, Sege.

0:14:39 > 0:14:42- And it's over.- While these two are playing around in the garden,

0:14:42 > 0:14:44I want to find out from Mum and Stepdad

0:14:44 > 0:14:47out why this den is so important for Will.

0:14:47 > 0:14:50We've seen a little bit about how much Will loves his rugby.

0:14:50 > 0:14:52But how much really does he love his rugby?

0:14:52 > 0:14:54Oh, he adores his rugby.

0:14:54 > 0:14:57Whenever I take him to watch the rugby, he's up, he's ready.

0:14:57 > 0:14:59He loves rugby, just absolutely adores it.

0:14:59 > 0:15:01Take us back to the beginning a little bit.

0:15:01 > 0:15:05When did we first find out that Will wasn't well?

0:15:05 > 0:15:08So, Will was diagnosed in November, 2015.

0:15:08 > 0:15:11And they diagnosed him with something called

0:15:11 > 0:15:13Langerhans cell histiocytosis

0:15:13 > 0:15:16and very soon after that Christmas Eve

0:15:16 > 0:15:18we were told that he would need chemotherapy for a year.

0:15:18 > 0:15:21- Ugh...- And the only thing that he could think about, though, is,

0:15:21 > 0:15:24"Well, I might not be able to play rugby."

0:15:24 > 0:15:26That was his immediate reaction.

0:15:26 > 0:15:27So, what has the sort of Year Two

0:15:27 > 0:15:29been like for Will, since the diagnosis?

0:15:29 > 0:15:32I think the hardest thing for him is that he hasn't been able to be on

0:15:32 > 0:15:35the pitch for a long time now, so

0:15:35 > 0:15:37he's desperate to get back to playing rugby

0:15:37 > 0:15:40and being with his friends.

0:15:40 > 0:15:42So, this going to be amazing for him because it's really going

0:15:42 > 0:15:44to help him bond back with his friends.

0:15:44 > 0:15:47So, ultimately, this den is going to be just something really,

0:15:47 > 0:15:51really special, something he really, really deserves, I think.

0:15:51 > 0:15:52- Absolutely.- Absolutely.

0:15:53 > 0:15:55While the build carries on,

0:15:55 > 0:15:58I'm taking Will for a surprise I know he'll love.

0:16:02 > 0:16:06I've brought him here to Twickenham, the home of England rugby,

0:16:06 > 0:16:08for an extra special training session.

0:16:08 > 0:16:12Will, welcome to Twickenham Stadium.

0:16:12 > 0:16:13This is unbelievable.

0:16:13 > 0:16:16- What do you think?- It's the most beautiful sight ever.

0:16:16 > 0:16:20And today, I have organised a pitch-side work-out.

0:16:20 > 0:16:22But to do that, we're going to need to limber up.

0:16:26 > 0:16:29As Will is allowed some basic training,

0:16:29 > 0:16:32we needed someone very special to get him back into the game.

0:16:32 > 0:16:34All right, Will, I am feeling ready to go.

0:16:34 > 0:16:37The only problem is, I have, like, no rugby skills whatsoever.

0:16:39 > 0:16:41So, I feel like we need maybe a bit of help.

0:16:41 > 0:16:43Maybe a bit of professional help.

0:16:43 > 0:16:45Maybe a bit of help from this guy.

0:16:45 > 0:16:47- Oh, my...- Hello, mate.

0:16:49 > 0:16:52Nice to meet you. Will, you OK?

0:16:52 > 0:16:54- Yeah.- Having a good day?- Yeah.

0:16:54 > 0:16:56Did you expect to see me here?

0:16:56 > 0:16:58No? We're going to do a bit of training.

0:16:59 > 0:17:03Jack Nowell is a rugby union superstar who plays for England,

0:17:03 > 0:17:07as well as Will's favourite team, the Exeter Chiefs.

0:17:07 > 0:17:09The first drill we're going to do is a bit of a two on one drill, so,

0:17:09 > 0:17:11a bit of passing, a bit of running at the same time.

0:17:11 > 0:17:13Me and Will are going to be as a team

0:17:13 > 0:17:14and you've got to try and stop us.

0:17:14 > 0:17:17- I've got to try and stop the professional rugby players?- Yes.

0:17:17 > 0:17:18Great! Good plan!

0:17:18 > 0:17:20So, on my clap, we're going to go at the same time

0:17:20 > 0:17:22and you've got to do all you can to stop us.

0:17:22 > 0:17:24Let's go, Will.

0:17:24 > 0:17:26OK.

0:17:26 > 0:17:28No!

0:17:28 > 0:17:29So annoying!

0:17:29 > 0:17:31That was too easy. That was so annoying.

0:17:31 > 0:17:33- Right, Will's go.- Time to switch.

0:17:33 > 0:17:37It's my turn to team up with Jack.

0:17:37 > 0:17:39Here we go.

0:17:39 > 0:17:40- Yeah!- Score!

0:17:40 > 0:17:42Great tackle!

0:17:42 > 0:17:45Playing with Jack is literally a dream come true.

0:17:45 > 0:17:48- This is the one...- Backwards, yes!

0:17:48 > 0:17:51It's insane, to actually meet him.

0:17:51 > 0:17:54Let alone play rugby with him.

0:17:54 > 0:17:56Next up, tackling.

0:17:56 > 0:17:57And Will's going to show me how it's done.

0:17:57 > 0:17:59On the clap, we're going to get up.

0:17:59 > 0:18:01Let's go. As quick as we can.

0:18:01 > 0:18:04See that? Perfect.

0:18:04 > 0:18:06Will shoulders nice and low, head in nice and tight,

0:18:06 > 0:18:07wrap the arms, perfect tackle.

0:18:07 > 0:18:10Now, it's my turn.

0:18:10 > 0:18:12- How hard can it be?- As hard as you can, ready?

0:18:12 > 0:18:14No!

0:18:14 > 0:18:16- Go!- Argh!

0:18:22 > 0:18:24- That was my best one.- That was better.

0:18:24 > 0:18:27- A lot quicker.- What a day this has turned out to be.

0:18:27 > 0:18:29That is actual Jack Nowell,

0:18:29 > 0:18:32who plays for England and Will is absolutely loving it.

0:18:35 > 0:18:36- So good!- He's good, isn't he?

0:18:37 > 0:18:40I've really enjoyed today, I think it's been awesome.

0:18:40 > 0:18:43To be able to show Will a little bit of insight to what we do as a

0:18:43 > 0:18:46professional rugby player is something I love doing.

0:18:46 > 0:18:49Jack, thank you so much for today. We've had such a good time.

0:18:49 > 0:18:50You're very welcome. It's been a good day.

0:18:50 > 0:18:52The sun's been out shining.

0:18:52 > 0:18:54Really, it's been amazing. Thank you both!

0:18:54 > 0:18:56It's been like the best day ever.

0:18:56 > 0:18:58You're very welcome. You've definitely got the skills as well.

0:18:58 > 0:19:01So, we have to head back to your den I think,

0:19:01 > 0:19:02- then, Will, what do you reckon? - Yeah.

0:19:02 > 0:19:06Before you do go, though, I've actually got you a present.

0:19:06 > 0:19:09I've actually got you a signed England shirt, to be hung up,

0:19:09 > 0:19:11signed by our coach,

0:19:11 > 0:19:14Eddie Jones, and there's a little message there from me as well.

0:19:14 > 0:19:17Thank you so much for the day, it's been amazing.

0:19:17 > 0:19:19Good man, I'm glad you enjoyed it and you're very welcome.

0:19:25 > 0:19:28Back at the build, despite them pushing really hard,

0:19:28 > 0:19:31the team haven't really recovered from yesterday's setback.

0:19:34 > 0:19:37We've not even managed to get halfway with the den.

0:19:37 > 0:19:38It's still very white.

0:19:38 > 0:19:40It needs to have a lot more colour on it.

0:19:40 > 0:19:43I'm really, really worried that we're not going to make this one.

0:19:48 > 0:19:50With the start of a new day,

0:19:50 > 0:19:53the Dengineers are all revved up to get this den done in time.

0:19:53 > 0:19:55There is loads to do today.

0:19:55 > 0:19:58We've got painting, we've got door hanging,

0:19:58 > 0:19:59we've got goalposts to go up,

0:19:59 > 0:20:02laces, windows. There is a lot to do.

0:20:06 > 0:20:09- What do you think then, Will?- I think it looks absolutely awesome.

0:20:09 > 0:20:12- It is, it's going to look really good, isn't it?- Yeah.

0:20:12 > 0:20:16With all the panels out, there is now light flowing into the den.

0:20:16 > 0:20:18But the inside still needs work and

0:20:18 > 0:20:21Sege has one accessory that will make it nice and cosy.

0:20:26 > 0:20:28Right, Will. This is one of my favourite bits now.

0:20:28 > 0:20:30I think I've had a bit of a cool idea here.

0:20:30 > 0:20:33I'm going to make some cushions for the inside of your den.

0:20:33 > 0:20:38OK? Now, what I thought we'd do is use some rugby shirts.

0:20:38 > 0:20:41Now, Alex, behind us there has helped me out a lot.

0:20:41 > 0:20:43She's sewn up the arms for us already,

0:20:43 > 0:20:46And the bottoms. So, I've got one here for you too.

0:20:46 > 0:20:49- Are you up for it?- Yeah. - OK, good. Before we fill it,

0:20:49 > 0:20:51I think the best thing we can do now is decorate it.

0:20:51 > 0:20:54I've got this fantastic Dengineers logo.

0:20:54 > 0:20:57What we do..

0:20:57 > 0:21:00peel the backing off, let's get this down on there,

0:21:01 > 0:21:07take the magic iron, add some heat, and gently iron over the top.

0:21:07 > 0:21:11It's always a good idea to get an adult to help with this part.

0:21:11 > 0:21:13Now, it's a simple peel away.

0:21:13 > 0:21:17And look at that. Printing our very own rugby shirts.

0:21:17 > 0:21:19- Yeah.- How cool's that?

0:21:19 > 0:21:21And, to give it that authentic look,

0:21:21 > 0:21:24you can add your favourite number on the back too.

0:21:24 > 0:21:27- OK, so you want to go with number eight?- Yeah.- Line it up.

0:21:27 > 0:21:28- Are you happy with that?- Yeah.

0:21:28 > 0:21:31Back to the heat. Watch your fingers.

0:21:31 > 0:21:33That's it, keeping the iron on it all the time.

0:21:33 > 0:21:35That's really, really good.

0:21:39 > 0:21:41Ha! Well done, mate.

0:21:41 > 0:21:43That's fantastic!

0:21:43 > 0:21:45All we have to do now is stuff them.

0:21:45 > 0:21:47OK? So, there's your bag, here's mine.

0:21:47 > 0:21:50So, the more fill we put in them, the better they're going to be.

0:21:50 > 0:21:52Let's just get stuffing away.

0:21:52 > 0:21:55The next time we'll see these cushions will be in the den.

0:21:59 > 0:22:02Back at the build, the den is really coming on.

0:22:02 > 0:22:06But how exactly has Sege made something this shape this big?

0:22:07 > 0:22:11Will's massive rugby ball needed to use some clever engineering.

0:22:11 > 0:22:14It's a very impressive structure and I just wondered how you go about

0:22:14 > 0:22:15making something like that?

0:22:15 > 0:22:16Well, Joe, dead easy.

0:22:16 > 0:22:18OK. What we do is we get some

0:22:18 > 0:22:20big sheets of plywood and we cut them out

0:22:20 > 0:22:23into little circles, rather like this model here.

0:22:23 > 0:22:26So, you sort of make a skeleton of a ball?

0:22:26 > 0:22:28- Exactly that.- And where do you go from there?

0:22:28 > 0:22:31What you have to do then is you have to cover it over with thin strips of

0:22:31 > 0:22:35wood. What I've done is I've demonstrated that by using tape.

0:22:35 > 0:22:37So, now you can see that once the tape's over there,

0:22:37 > 0:22:39you now have a shaped developing.

0:22:39 > 0:22:41It is the basis of that wall.

0:22:41 > 0:22:45- Exactly.- OK.- What this shows now is that we have the basis for the

0:22:45 > 0:22:48- fibreglass. - What is fibreglass?

0:22:48 > 0:22:51I've got a bit here. Fibreglass is actually woven plastic.

0:22:51 > 0:22:54Right. And its woven with glass fibres,

0:22:54 > 0:22:56going in all different directions,

0:22:56 > 0:22:57to give it strength, you see.

0:22:59 > 0:23:00Sege has layered the wooden

0:23:00 > 0:23:03structure with large sheets of fibreglass and

0:23:03 > 0:23:05used resin to glue it down.

0:23:05 > 0:23:06The fibreglass and resin bond

0:23:06 > 0:23:09together like a huge plaster cast to make

0:23:09 > 0:23:12the den waterproof, strong but also light in weight.

0:23:12 > 0:23:14And the fibreglass is also very flexible,

0:23:14 > 0:23:16which means it's perfect for boats,

0:23:16 > 0:23:18water slides and even a rugby ball den.

0:23:19 > 0:23:22Right, time for a Sege demo.

0:23:22 > 0:23:24It's as simple as this.

0:23:24 > 0:23:27Now, this is my favourite bit.

0:23:27 > 0:23:30- Yeah.- Now, what we do is the brush and we just stick it all down.

0:23:31 > 0:23:34Amazing! And then you cover the whole thing just like that.

0:23:34 > 0:23:36And you cover the whole thing. There we go.

0:23:36 > 0:23:38- Can you see it all starting to stick?- Got you!

0:23:38 > 0:23:40I'm surprised that something that flimsy is actually

0:23:40 > 0:23:42strong enough to make it that hard?

0:23:42 > 0:23:44That's what makes fibreglass so good.

0:23:44 > 0:23:49Now, I'll show you one that I've already made and you'll see exactly

0:23:49 > 0:23:51how strong that is.

0:23:51 > 0:23:54- Look, it's like a cocoon! - Isn't that fantastic?

0:23:54 > 0:23:57You actually bang that, you bang that hard. Look.

0:23:57 > 0:23:59- It hurts, doesn't it? - Yeah, I regret that.

0:23:59 > 0:24:01And that's the beauty about fibreglass.

0:24:05 > 0:24:08Will and the team have been working their socks off

0:24:08 > 0:24:10on the finer details.

0:24:10 > 0:24:14The lighting is sorted and finally the internal decorating has begun.

0:24:14 > 0:24:17The den's going to look absolutely amazing

0:24:17 > 0:24:18when Sege has fully finished it.

0:24:21 > 0:24:22But the next time Will's going to

0:24:22 > 0:24:24see his den is that the big reveal tomorrow.

0:24:24 > 0:24:27Will, mate, you've been great over the last couple of days.

0:24:27 > 0:24:30You've been a great help but I think now it's time for you to go.

0:24:30 > 0:24:32So, gloves, please. Thank you very much.

0:24:36 > 0:24:38Today's gone really, really well.

0:24:38 > 0:24:40Everybody's come together. We've all mucked in.

0:24:40 > 0:24:42We've got loads done.

0:24:42 > 0:24:45But even though the den is looking almost complete on the outside,

0:24:45 > 0:24:49there's still a huge amount of work to be done on the inside and time is

0:24:49 > 0:24:50running out.

0:24:56 > 0:24:59It's Reveal Day and we need all hands on deck if we've any chance of

0:24:59 > 0:25:01getting this den finished.

0:25:04 > 0:25:07So, Joe and I get stuck in with some of the finishing touches.

0:25:10 > 0:25:13And we need to get a move on as Will's family

0:25:13 > 0:25:15and friends have started to arrive.

0:25:18 > 0:25:20With one last push to the finish line,

0:25:20 > 0:25:24a quick sweep of the soil and a vacuum of the grass,

0:25:24 > 0:25:26we're done.

0:25:36 > 0:25:40This corner of the garden used to be home to the family's junk.

0:25:43 > 0:25:45But Sege and the Dengineers team

0:25:45 > 0:25:49have transformed it into an awesome space fit for a rugby fanatic.

0:25:51 > 0:25:53Everybody, are you ready to see the den?

0:25:53 > 0:25:57AUDIENCE: Yes! In three, two, one...

0:25:59 > 0:26:00Yo-ho!

0:26:03 > 0:26:06Wow! Will, what do you think about that?

0:26:06 > 0:26:08It's amazing!

0:26:08 > 0:26:11- What do you think, Mum and Dad? - It's immense.

0:26:11 > 0:26:14- But it's awesome.- It's bigger than the front room, innit?

0:26:15 > 0:26:17Cleverly using the Exeter Chiefs' colours,

0:26:17 > 0:26:20Sege has given the den a striking appearance.

0:26:20 > 0:26:23That looks awesome.

0:26:23 > 0:26:26And on the inside, it gets even better.

0:26:26 > 0:26:27Oh, my gosh.

0:26:27 > 0:26:30- What do you think?- It's awesome!

0:26:30 > 0:26:32Yeah? You've got your telly here,
